Called and asked for a small repair and an estimate on larger jobs in a new home. 2 Electricians arrived, repaired an outlet in <20 minutes, and then gave us an estimate on other electrical work that we are considering for our new home. Then we were provided with a $250 bill, at wich point we were informed for the first time of the 2 hour minimum (the minimum is for each electrician, not together, so we were billed for 2x2 hours worth of work). Called the person who runs the business and was told that he would "try to work with us" on the future work that we got estimates for in order to get some of our money back. Roger's Electric knew that we were asking for less than two hours work and did not inform us of their minimum number of hours. This feels like a scam

The Owner was very responsive, his fully master certified electricians arrived on-time, did what was agreed on and they also made suggestions on simplifying some of what we were asking for. They were respectful, clean-up after themselves and made sure I was happy with the work completed.
Description of Work: Added several GFI plugs, doorbells, carbon monoxide fan and detector. Other miscellaneous items repaired.

Rogers had to remove some deck stairs to get to the site. When completed he replaced them in better condition than he found them. He knew who to contact for Electric Company burnout service and encouraged them to respond quickly as my wife is a cancer patient and dependent on electricity for oxygen and air conditioning for comfort. He and his assistant worked as a well practiced team and LG&E performed as promised. I am amazed about how quietly and efficiently they went about their work. This was one of the best service experiences of my lifetime.
Description of Work: Another appliance repair man told us that we were only getting 24 Volts through our system. We called Rogers Electric at 2:30 PM and he was at the house at 5:00 PM. He diagnosed the problem and called LG&E for emergency service. The power to the house was cut off and a dangerous short was found at the meter. The house could have burned down with this condition. Rogers and his assistant replaced the meter base, conduit wiring and mounted a junction box and completed the job with lights back on at 10:00 PM.
