It went very wrong. I stopped by the house and found the two men eating lunch(each with a bottle of beer.( no big deal). Came by a day or two later(after a lot of rain& the sod being laid down, only to find 3 to 4inch deep ruts in newly laid sod. Called them, they said they would send someone out with some dirt & seed to fix it. They finally agreed to let my yard man fix it and pay him. Then one year later we noticed the fence was leaning. I called the home builder out to confirm this. All the posts were loose. Discovered they did not put enough concrete in the post holes. They had to dig out the concrete, add more concrete in the holes. Now the best is yet to come. They have sold the lot behind me. I have had a feeling the fence was "over" the property line. We have just had the property " reprinted" to confirm how much the fence is over the property line. This not the only fence they have put on someone else's property. So now it looks like my fence will be coming down and rebuilt on the proper location.
Description of Work: They installed a privacy when my new house was built (it was included in my financing of the house)

It was well over a month late. They blamed weather but there were plenty of good weather days that they were not working on my fence. They need to either a)do a better job estimating how long a job is going to take or b)do whatever they can to ensure it is done in a reasonable amount of time (e.g. overtime, weekends, etc). They left mounds of dirt in my yard, which has killed the grass. My lot backs up to an empty field. It would have taken zero extra effort to put the dirt back there. Regarding price, it was the best quote I received

THE WORK WAS AVERAGE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T FOLLOW THE SPECIFICATIONS WE GAVE THEM. IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE, BUT WE THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT HAD A CERTAIN KIND OF WOOD WE WERE LOOKING FOR. WHEN THEY BUILT THE FENCE THEY PUT IT OVER OUR PROPERTY LINE. WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED OUT NEIGHBORS ENFORCED THE PROPERTY LINE SO WE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK TO MOVE IT. AT FIRST THEY WERE SAYING THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS MOVE, BUT WE SHOWED THEM THE PICTURE WE HAD GIVEN THEM SHOWING WHERE THE LINE WAS AND THEY SAID THEY would FIX IT. THEY WERE NICE GUYS AND THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS GOOD ONCE THEY MOVED THE FENCE BACK TO WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.
Description of Work: THEY WERE HIRED TO PUT UP A NEW FENCE.
