He contracted out our project, the paneling is very wavy in three places, the extra trim used to hide the paneling seams is split in several places where they nailed it.

They did a great job! They did charge a little more for a second coat. So you need to know if one coat will cover your job. I'm happy with the price and the quality. I would recommend this company.

Okay, it sounds like Rafael paid me to write my review. He did not! I'm a paying, repeat customer of his. He has done drywall for us, installed 1400 sq. feet of solid wood flooring, installed doors, installed crown molding throughout our house, and built all new wood stairs for us from scratch. And we are not finished hiring him to do other projects in our home in the future. He is extremely hard-working, conscientious, and talented at what he does. But not only does he do good work, he provides outstanding value for the money. We could not have as much done at our home with him if he were not so economical in his pricing.

This company was professional in all aspects of the job. They completed a major renovation of my home: painting, dry wall, construction of laundry room, new moldings, new baseboards, remodeled bathrooms. I will hire them again when I have basement work to be completed.

Rafael Solórzano Construction was hired to complete two remodels on houses that I purchased in June. I am so happy that I found this company. All work was completed with professional results. The work included drywall, paint, tile, carpentry, and stairway. All of it was done right the first time. This was a huge job and Mr. Solórzano made it seem easy. His workers are very skilled and Mr. Solórzano made sure that all work was done well. I didn't have any complaints but I feel that if I had Mr. Solórzano would have corrected it immediately. An added bonus was Mr. Solórzano and his workers are really nice and fun to be around. I have found my new home remodeling company.

Rafael was very professional and he was able to meet my tight deadline. I look forward to working with Rafael and his team on future projects.

June 13, 2016 I had the opportunity to hire Mr. Solorzano to hang and finish drywall in a room in my home. The work started on or around the 4th, to say I am displeased would be an understatement. I did not get what I asked and paid for. The quality of the finish leaves much to be desired, from low spots to rough and uneven corners, un-sanded areas of the walls, outlet box cutout that are too large and the trail of hardened mud and dust leading out from my door. I even found 3 screws in the road where they loaded the scraps in the truck. The biggest one was that I asked for a knock down ceiling and instead got the standard issue circular brush stomp kind. As it was already done by the time I caught it I reluctantly accepted it because I am on a time frame to use the room. To be upfront he did say he would come back if called to fix things but I do not want this contractor to back in my home. I can work with some degree of misses and mistakes but after spending 8 hours over the course of the past weekend fixing things I felt compelled to write this. I got his contact information from this site and I am not sure how he got such a good rating because if this is a reflection of his quality, it leaves much to be desired. And if this is the standard he builds to he has no right to present himself as a tradesman and a contractor. I paid my fee to him as agreed, which I am told by many was not what I should have done but I uphold my end of any deals I make because they usually work out. I won’t be calling this person for any reason and if someone else does I highly suggest constant monitoring and the specifics of the job be written and posted in sight for reference.

He needs to manage his crews better so they are not going behind his back bidding jobs on the side, then he gets upset with the homeowner for entertaining it. His crew did a fine job, but he is a piece of work to deal with. Pass.

Rafael worked with us on our project to get what we needed/wanted. I will definitely work with him again as needed. He was very polite and professional.

Excellent plaster repair. Very courteous and hardworking. They also painted 3 rooms. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you need plaster repairs.

I called Raphael because of his exceptional reviews online and I have to say my expectations were met and them some. I can't say enough about this man and his workers. Raphael always took the time to find out exactly what we needed, made sure that we were satisfied every step of the way. He and his crew were courteous and very hard working. All in all I'd say I made a great choice choosing Raphael Solorzano for my remodeling needs. They weren't just efficient. It was fun. More fun than watching a high speed police pursuit on tv!!!

I think the guys do quality work but some of the workers could be a more detailed on the cleanup, they stashed excess debris and trash under hedge bushes and in the driveway. Rafael was paid for material he said he needed for the job but it was not used and I was not reimbursed because he didn't provide a receipt for the materials.

Rafael and his crew were fantastic. They answered any question that I had as the job progressed. They took the time to make sure that I understood and was happy before they moved on. What started as a simple drywall repair turned into a bathroom remodel job because of the comfort that I felt with the work they were doing and the value that they were providing. They ended up repairing a drywall area that was water damaged from a roof leak, repairing a ceiling that was botched by another firm, remodeling a bathroom and replacing 7 doors. The work that they have done has increased the value of our home. If I ever need anymore work done on this home I will call Rafael first!!!
