John and his company did an excellent job of cleaning up and restoring my Dell computer, to include installing a new solid state drive (SSD) as the boot device and mapping other data/applications to the existing hard drive. Installed a new (second) DVD drive, reformatted the harddrive and just extended the life of my computer by another couple years at least. I use this computer for video editing and while its only a few years old, it was slowing down tremendously. By investing my trust in John and his team - I''ve saved myself probably a good 1000-1500 on replacing this computer, and enjoy the speed and new capabilities of this renewed machine. Definitely would recommend them and use them again myself when the need arises. They were quick and actually had the work done before the promised date...

He was on time, he seem to know what he's talking about and he was able to handle my questions. He's helpful and provided general information. He's very courteous and very professional. He called back after the service to check if everything was working okay.

I contacted John Archer by phone requesting that he make an onsite visit to my house to see if he could get the latest edition of a ransomware virus off of my wife's computer. We agreed on a day and time and John came to the house at the agreed time and went to work. He worked diligently to remove the virus and help us with installing a good anti-virus software and good backup software. He ultimately had to take the computer back to the shop and remove most everything from the hard drive and start over again. John did isolate a lot of the encrypted files and folders on the hard drive for my wife in hopes that maybe someday someone would figure out how to restore them. There was about 15 years worth of information that was being lost and my wife was very upset about it. He brought the PC back and got everything working good and we settled up and he left. That was on Monday and by Thurs through something that I think I did, the virus was showing up again. I called John and he came to the house that evening and picked up the PC and took it with him to completely wipe the hard drive clean and re-install the OS. He was terribly busy on Fri. but knowing that my wife needed her computer for important work over the weekend, John made it to the house about 7:00 PM and stayed almost an hour with us getting everything set up. John went above and beyond to help us and we are Very Appreciative of his efforts! I would recommend Premium Computer Solutions to anyone, Thank You John Archer!

John picked up the first one and delivered it when finished. He picked up the second one and took it with him on a second visit and I picked it up at his store.

They are wonderful. I have used them 3 times to fix various problems with my computer. Everytime they have been wonderful. Even their dog is wonderful. They are very kind.

What stood out the most about them is the experience.

I traveled to the shop of this provider after contacting to arrange to bring the computer in. I was told it would be several hours as they had a back log of work. I have to travel by bus and not sooner did I arrive home did I receive a call that the computer was fixed. This was a little annoying as I asked how long and was advised it would be later in the day or early the next morning. I returned to the shop and was told that the video board was bad but the original was still installed and it worked "better" than with the other board. When I arrive home and set up the computer, My problem just continued. The screen now must be adjusted on each new tab that I open on the web either up or down in percent to view. YES I have a picture now but the annoying adjustments are just more trouble. I called the business and explaining. The "tech" told me all that was needed was to adjust it one time and it would be fine. WRONG! I felt that returning would only lead to more cost and who knows what would happen. So I am ordering a video board to replace the one that was in the computer (added component as I purchased the computer on eBay- yet another mistake.) When I receive it I will replace and call Rose Cameron to help me or take it to her. I feel that my money was just taken and I am not happy with the service.

Excellent! Punctual, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant! We plan to use this company again in the near future when we plan to upgrade our TV provider.

They ended up doing me a lot more than that. They gave me a really good price for the extra work I asked for. They gave me a lot of advice. I will not just use them again but I will recommend them as well.

Very quick, very friendly, very reasonable, very knowledgeable! I'll use Premium again if it ever becomes necessary.

John responded quickly via email on Angie's list and was at work here at our home in less than a week. Very personable! He took care of our data backup, removed a substantial chunk of potential security threats, performed a terrific check-up, and clean-up and maintenance on our desktop (which has a few years on it). Provided great expertise, advice and recommendations that make life with our computer better than ever. Super guy, super service. Would definitely ask for him again should we have problems down the road. Thank you John!

Please know I wrote my initial detailed review for this computer business in January 2014 and how ironic I found this business on Angie's List. In less than 2 years this business went from an 'A' rating down to a 'D' rating. Why you ask? Please allow me to share my facts with you. Please keep in mind I am a disabled veteran with brain injuries from service but I still have a pretty good mind according to the government. I always explain to every business the fact I must write down and in many cases, record many of my conversations due to memory damage and loss. Also, I have always kept a very good anti-virus 'active' program on my computers. I was asked by the owner if I would like to have a remote icon and program placed on my computer in times when a problem could be fixed via remote vice hooking and unhooking my computer to bring into their shop. I agreed. I have now survived through 4 computer businesses that have failed to do their job and/or financially took advantage of my lack of technicial computer skills. I have always explained the reasons for computer repair to the owner and his son. In Sept. 2014, I shared my priority for internet security and my need to conduct financial transactions online. I was given the option to purchase a laptop computer to keep my finances separate from my desktop and (from my understanding) making my online transactions much more secure. I purchased this laptop from this same business around September 2014 as they know I still maintain a desktop for research and emails. I noticed the senior man was out of the office more and more (understandable) due to a request from large businesses for his expertise. This, in turn, left one or two guys behind to manage the office and customers. I was having computer issues more this year than the year prior for reasons unknown to me. So, I started calling to request an appointment but my calls were not being returned or very slowly being returned. So, I started sending emails requesting a reply. I was receiving 'random' replies and 'what seemed to be' legitimate excuses. Then, in June of this year I noticed I was having more issues with the email server this business placed on my computer. I was informed this was 'not' a trial server. One of the younger employees did not seem to have the knowledge to use the teamviewer remote that was placed on my computer. So, he requested I should bring in the hard drive for him to see in which I did. I dropped off my computer on Monday, 6 July '15 and received it back on Friday, 17 July '15. My email server seemed to be working okay but now my date and time box was not working. Each time I turned my computer off, the date and time would not update. I called and asked questons to the same person that worked on my computer and his reply: 'I just don't understand'. At no time did he try to fix the problem nor admit this problem was created by him. Please keep in mind 'What did the Provider Do" in the box above. The week of 1 December '15, I again I started having problems with my email server. I called and sent an email requesting a reply. I called again after hours and left a detailed message around 7 December and again on 9 December requesting an appointment . Finally, on 10 December I had enough and decided to seek another computer service. I left one last detailed message stating the fact I have called four times to include my request for an appointment and any passcodes or access codes I would need in order to seek out another computer service. I still did not receive a reply. Summary: When any business has gotten to the point where their business has prospered and they have forgettem or neglected their customers; than the problem is the business and not the customer. I was set-up for a fall due to no fault of my own. I paid for services and received back a computer with issues. I did not receive so much as a return phone call to set me up for an appointment. Also, please know my bills were always paid in full. I personally believe since I am such a nice person; my kindness was taken for granted and I was just pushed to the wayside :(. I wrote this updated review for TWO major reasons: (1) To let others know the importance of looking out for their fellow man and (2) Others can view the facts behind the accountability and honesty from businesses. I was having difficulty with my computer / internet connections and also needed a good look at my programs. I purchased the Big Deal . The technition, Zack, explained what he was doing and why. He was friendly but very professional. I will most Definately use this company again. I love that they come to my home.

Went into the store with my damaged laptop and the gentleman that helped me could see right away the problem. I was told the repairman would call me with an estimated cost. By the time I returned home he called, gave me the estimate and day I should be able to pick up my computer with assurance that he would call to confirm. He said the computer would be ready on Thursday and it was at the price given. My computer looks like new and I am very pleased.

What others had told me was maybe a hard drive crash turned out to be something very simple. Premium Computer did not charge for their service since there was so little time involved. Since I had left the computer with them overnight they could very well have fabricated a problem and charged me for it. They are very honest and professional people to deal with.

Maybe I need to replace my three-year-old laptop computer because the service only minimally helped the speed; still does not update all the suggested updates; password request continued for three weeks but has now stopped. When I called about the issues I was told there was no explanation the updates would not install and Outlook did not ask for a password.

Exactly as advertised. John is one of a dying breed. He actually does what he says, how he says he will do it and when he says he will do it. I actually just had him out to fix another computer and couldn't be happier.

I would definitely go there again for repair work. He repaired another computer a few years ago and was super fast and reasonable charge. He even carried my old computer to my car for me. Yep, Premium is a good description of this place.
