Painting The Town

They were not cheap but they were good. The people who came in here were wonderful. They were very prompt, neat and very professional. I am getting ready to use them again.

First of all, I have to say WOW! Skip and Robin- You guys rock! The quality of this company is top notch. I feel like I have a completely new house! You guys do amazing work and are so professional and efficient. All of this work was completed in only one day and they did a great job! From the very beginning with communication and the estimate down to scheduling the job and finishing it, you guys were on it! I couldn't have asked for more. We have several projects in the future that we will need to have completed and we will not hesitate to call you guys for those projects. Thanks for all of your hard work and for getting this done so quickly for us! We really appreciate it!

Skip and his team did so much more than originally expected. They primed and painted the main level (kitchen, living room, dining room) and second level (2 bathrooms, master and guest bedrooms). They also caulked everywhere it was needed especially around windows, fixed minor drywall cracks and issues, replaced damaged doors, adjusted light fixtures and finished up when my drywall contractor left a job half done. They were amazing! Friendly, professional and each member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. In addition, my correspondence and interaction with Robin in regards to scheduling and billing was excellent. She was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to friends and family and will definitely use again when the need arises.

I am amazed at how good it looks. I hadn't had painting done in years and Skip and his team made my home look new again. I had a 3'x3' hole in my textured ceiling from a water pipe leak. They did such a good job that you can't tell where the hole was. I had an accent wall painted and the edges are perfect--no opposite color on the other walls. Skip came in and introduced each team member. The guys worked great together and were very efficient and professional. I talked to Robin several times, and she was very helpful and offered suggestions. |I would definitely use Painting the Town again and have already recommended them to friends.

They showed up on time on both of two days. The guys were extremely professional and considerate. They were very attentive to detail and cleaned up afterwards both days. The work looks great! I will definitely hire them again.

We are the second owners of our 18-year old home and sadly, the interior had not been painted since the builder painted. Having knee replacements, I don't do ladders any more and my two story entry, front hall and two story family room suffered from multiple drywall settlement cracks, nail pops and nail holes. Skip arrived at my residence on the appointed date, on time, and graciously provided a free estimate. His price was not only reasonable but also the most competitive given the scope of the work. Upon award of the business, the work was scheduled and Skip, Robert & Tommy arrived on the scheduled date, again on time. They began by removing or covering the last two pieces of furniture in the area and then applying sheet plastic in the open doorway areas to keep the dust down. No need to cover the floors as I had previously removed both carpeting and floor tiles leaving only exposed sub-flooring. Their prep work to repair the drywall settlement cracks, nail pops and nail holes was excellent. The worst crack had been in a two story vaulted ceiling where a ceiling fan had been installed. All blemishes have vanished and I now challenge anyone to be able to identify any of the repairs. The ceiling was painted and two coats of custom matched paint were applied to the walls. Our results were excellent. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend them for your interior painting needs

I highly recommend the Risks of Painting the Town. My ceiling looks great. He came to my home and gave me a free estimate which ended up being the actual cost. Rick and his worker arrived on time and completed the work in one day. Afterwards they cleaned the area where they worked and left shaking my hand telling me to call if there was anything else he could do. I am extremely pleased with everything about Painting the Town. Thank you Robin and Rick!!

Skip was very professional and honest. He said he couldn't get to me for a month. I needed it sooner so I had to say, "no" because I found someone to do it much sooner. However, he and Robin were very understanding and if I needed another painting job done, I would definitely consider them again! It was a pleasure meeting Skip and hearing from Robin. And the honesty was greatly appreciated.

Really enjoyed meeting Skip and Robin and working with their painting team. Very nice people and hard working. They managed to fit me in to their busy schedule within a week of my initial contact. And they were moving during that same time!!! It really meant a lot to me since I had just purchased my home and was eager to make it mine with my own paint choices. They had to paint the living room a few more coats than expected because of the dark pigment of the original color. However, thankfully, they stuck to their quote amount and didn't charge me extra. They did an expert job and their professionalism shows in the appearance of my home. Next time I need painting done, I know who to call.

I contacted Paint the Town in mid-June about pressure washing and sealing/staining our deck. Skip came out within a few days and was able to give us an estimate of $1140 to replace a few boards, clean the deck and coat it with two coats of stain. He advised us to utilize a special kind of stain that would work better on our older deck. We accepted their bid, and we were told the estimated time would be late July/early August. We contacted Skip and Robin in mid-June, and work was done this week (August 12-13th). They are very busy, and the two month delay was the only down-side! After pressure washing, Skip decided the boards did not need replacing after all, and so the final bill was $1045. They did a fantastic job. Workers were courteous, friendly, and professional. Though they are a bit pricey, I would not hesitate to use them again. Robin was quick to respond to any question I had before, during, and after the job. I would not hesitate to use them again for any painting need that arises. You can tell that they really value their customers, and it shows! Thanks to Skip and Robin, I feel like we have a brand new deck!! :)

They came in and did a very good job and they were prompt and I just felt like they knew what they're doing doing. My wife paid for that so I don't know how much it cost, but it wasn't cheap. They had to repair a leak that we had and they worked hard on that and that was extra than what we had paid them for but they wanted to assure us that they would come back if there would be any problems and they tried to fixed it and they really went out of it and tried a whole bunch of stuff and it worked for a while. Unfortunately, the leak is back so it's something more that needs to be done but I'm not going to ask them because they've done enough.

Robin and Skip were extremely friendly and accommodating to my tight schedule. I needed to have the entire job completed in one day and they completed it with no problems. They even repaired issues from the previous painters. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Robin via email to repair a hole in our ceiling. She responded promptly wanting more details about the size of the hole. After I sent her some pictures, she said they could do it but that it would be about 7 weeks since they were so busy. We did not want to wait that long with a hole in our ceiling so she gave us the name of a drywaller they use. We contacted him (he is not listed on Angie's List), and he came quickly and fixed that repair and other little problems we needed fixing. He was fast and did a great job. We would hire him again but would also hire Painting the Town based on their excellent customer service alone.

We were very happy with the painting job done by Painting the Town. Skip and his wife, Robin were great and always quick to respond to questions, etc. The workers were always courteous and very efficient. They were at our house around 8 am and stayed working continuously until around 4:30 each day. It was a very low stress event on our part.

It was great. Skip and the guys are great. Very conscientious. The results are great. We are very pleased.

Robin was great as the contact. The quote came over right away and was a little higher than the others, but not by much. Skip was professional and punctual and did a fabulous job on the kitchen ceiling. Once he arrived, we had a new spot we wanted him to quote on which he did on the spot and completed the same day. Great working with them.

From the estimate to the finished product, it was awesome. I had gotten the estimate earlier in the fall and time got away from me. When we had a little warm weather in early December, I contacted Robin and Skip and said "can we squeeze it in?". They worked it so we got this done during the short time we had. Robin and Skip are FANTASTIC to work with. No wonder everyone loves them. They go the extra mile not only on the jobs, but scheduling too. I had them back to work on the inside of the house (a separate review) and they will be coming back soon to do some more exterior painting. Once you've worked with them, you really can stop shopping for your painting professionals.

I love these guys. Skip and Robin are awesome and are a great team. They always take care of their customers. It doesn't matter what you throw at them - scheduling conflicts, paint color changes, matching existing paint/stain. They do their best to take care of you. The folks they hire to do the work are great guys and very good at what they do. The house looks so good, I hardly want to sell it anymore. They will be coming back to finish the few remaining projects I have (separate review about their exterior work) both inside and out. I am super picky about my paint jobs (having done them myself for years). I just won't use anyone else now. Skip, Robin and guys - YOU ROCK!

Both Robyn and Skip (The Owners) were very helpful and friendly when working with the schedule we had established for the painting portion of our remodeling project. Skip came and view the progress during the three days of Painting and came personally to address the one problem that we encountered. The crew was here promptly every morning and cleaned at the end of the day.

Due to change in job we are having to relocate & fairly quickly. Prior to putting our home on the market we decided that while we think our home is in excellent shape & beautiful, once it is on the market most likely others who come view it for the first time may find things that we tend to overlook. We didn't want that to impede the sell of our home so we took the initiative to make a list of everything from nail holes, scratches on walls, ceiling stains, patchwork & just an overall better appeal. We joined Angie's List & began the search & came across "Painting the town" & gave them a call for an estimate. What we liked was that the owners Robin & Skip came in person to meet with us & walk through and outside our home as we had our target list. They were delightful which as many can relate to sometimes can be a red flag b/c you think well maybe they are nice but will they follow through? Well they did more than follow through! From beginning to end they were nothing but professional & I mean down to every individual who worked for them. You know when it's your home you worry about who is coming to work in it & we even asked in the beginning as far as who would be working in our home. They stressed that they would trust them alone in any family member's home. While we had someone at the house each day, they were exactly right as far as the character of those coming to work. There were days when there were 3-5 working in our home & some days just a couple of them & every single one of them were professional, courteous, neat, clean & good at what they did. I compared them to a SWAT team! They would come in & work & I mean work. Several times, Skip the owner would come & do a few things himself & he did the errands for the workers which was good b/c they didn't have downtime. They cleaned up every area they worked on & made it look terrific. To top things off, during the time of all this work, our oldest daughter was very ill & ended up in the hospital, etc. Robin personally would check on us via email or phone call & extended her concern & prayers. I could go on but I think I make my point. I recommend them to anyone. They are honest, genuine & good at what they do from the beginning to the end of the project or process. They will be on our Christmas card list!

The crew showed up on time and did a great job patching my two drywall areas. When they opened a box covering a vent line that had leaked from the roof, they went an extra step and added insulation to help block the cold air coming from the roof and the basement. Overall very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism.
