 + -1 moreI'm an Information Technology professional with 44 years of experience, so I've always been able to diagnose and fix any computer problem. I thought this one was just a bad power supply, but I didn't want the hassle of replacing it myself, so I took the PC to PC Quest where I had previously had a repair done with which I was totally satisfied. The amazing Leo diagnosed the problem and told me that the power supply was fine, but there was an obscure problem that only required taking out the CMOS battery, waiting a minute or so, putting the battery back in and then resetting the BIOS. Problem solved. Finding the real problem wasn't easy, but Leo is a very capable troubleshooter who took as much time as required to find and fix the issue. No unneccesarily replaced parts, no costly labor -- just an operational PC for very little expense. I sing the praises of Leo and PC Quest and will not hesitate to recommend them/him to anybody who needs computer repairs.
Description of Work: PC was dead. Wouldn't power down, even after holding in the on/off button for the requisite ten seconds or so. Unplugged it. Then, it wouldn't power up. No response to pressing the on/off button. Nothing I could do elicited a response. I speculated that the power supply had failed. Leo at PC Quest resurrected the PC without having to replace anything.
