Yes, Yes, Yes!! Hire Mr. ROOF of Louisville. They actually showed up for the estimate,! They actually showed up to do the job! And, it was a REALLY GOOD JOB! I would hire them again and again....and refer them to family and friends too. Thank you Mr.Roof.

Mitch Moutoux with Mr Roof in Louisville, Ky made initial visit and discussed damage repair, showed some samples, took some measurements of the house then said he would get back to me with an estimate. Two days later on August 7 he emailed me with two prices. I emailed him back and told him I would go with the lower price estimate and I would need a more exact estimate to send to the insurance company. After several calls to Mr Moutoux I have heard nothing from him.

Mr. Roof installed my roof five years ago after a hail storm. All was fine until two days ago when the roof started leaking. I contacted Mr. Roof and they sent an inspector the next day. The inspector, Mike Lewis, arrived on time and found a clip between two plywood panels on the roof had worked itself loose. He repaired it on the spot at no cost. Prompt and professional service from the phone call to the repair.

They came out and did a good job. They had to come back and fix a small spot in the roof but came back right away and fixed

The roof looks fine. The downfall is that they subcontracted the work even after I specifically asked them if they did that. The workmanship was fine and the time frame they did it in was good too. They did it in one day. They assured me I would not find any nails in my yard, but I am still finding some.

The service went well. They were responsive and professional and they showed up when they were scheduled. They are worth given a try because they have reasonable prices.

The salesman I spoke to, Brian, worked with my insurance company and met with the adjuster to examine the old roof. Brian explained every detail of the roof replacement to me and even removed the screen gutter guards I had that were starting to fall off. The crew arrived early in the morning as scheduled. They tore off the old shingles and had to replace some of the wood underneath. The Project Manager, Miguel, showed me areas where the wood wasn't nailed down properly and they fixed it. I checked with them a couple of times and they showed me what they were doing at that point and answered my questions. By late afternoon they were finished and cleaned up the yard. They left a few supplies in the yard but they were picked up the next day by the Supervisor who inspected and approved the work. I now have a beautiful new roof and my experience with Mr. Roof was great.

I thought the materials they supposedly use looked pretty good but was sold on their 10 year warranty.Then I did some research on them and felt I was getting ready to make a big mistake due to all of the bad reviews I saw.I immediately cancelled the contract and felt relieved.

The initial meeting with Senior Project Manager (according to his card) went great. He was going over different options and and ideas which is what we wanted. He did not have a latter tall enough to get on the rough so said he would come back the next day to get up there and did return and do so. He told me he should have an estimate by Friday. This is where it went downhill. Friday came and went and we waited till the following Tuesday to call him. I call the number on the business card and it is not in service. I call the office number and they said they were trying to get ahold of him for something else and would have him call. He called and talked to my wife and said something about Mr. Roof not interested in doing some of the work and he was looking into someone else doing it (this seemed odd to say the least). Said he would call by that Friday with an estimate. Friday came and went and nothing again. I called the office again Tuesday this week and the person said that they had nothing in the system and i needed to talk to the Project Manager and gave me the his number. To which i had to inform them that is the same number on the persons card and that number is not in service. He told me he would get ahold of him and have him give me a call or he would call back. I asked him "Will i get a call today" the office person said yes. That was 2 days ago and still not call. I am now on Angies List looking for a company that wants our business.

Christie then said that she wanted to put me in touch with one of Mr. Roof's subcontractors who could do the repair to the skylight. She contacted project manager Ryan Chavez at Mr. Roof in order to put me in touch with a subcontractor he uses, Julio DeLeon with Ace Roofing. Ryan and Julio came to the house, met with my husband, and "repaired" the skylight on 01/21/13. They only charged $250.00 and didn't leave a written invoice nor receipt. That should have been a big clue that something wasn't right! The next rain we had, the ceiling still leaked -- only about 6 inches higher up on the skylight. My husband called Ryan Chavez and told him about it. He had Julio DeLeon come back out and fix the repair again on 03/28/13. The next rain -- it still leaked. I called Mr. Chavez and left a voice mail message telling him that the skylight still leaked and to forget about coming back out again. The kicker is that I then had a friend's husband who does roofing as a side job come out on 03/29/13 and get up on the roof to look at it for me and he said that there was no repair done to the flashing around the skylight at all. The only thing that had been done was that A LOT of black putty had been smeared around making a big mess, but not repairing anything. He then repaired it for me, tearing off the shingles around the skylight, tearing off the flashing, and replacing both the shingles and the flashing -- all for only $350.00 -- and HE provided me with a receipt! And guess what? Several rains and storms later and no leaking ceiling!!
