We were very pleased. They were very pleasant and very friendly people to deal with. They were pretty flexible when they needed to be. I thought they did a real quality job. They showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would do.

It turned out fine. They did a good job.

It turned out good. They did everything I needed done. The general manager, Jean Johnson, was not the one who performed the service but when I went into the office to pay he was very helpful giving me referrals for other people who did work that I needed to have done.

It was the first time I had used them. The workmen were always on time, courteous, and polite. The balcony was very satisfactory.

They stuck to their quote. He did a good job and the quality of work was good. He cleaned up after himself.

They did a good job. I personally thought they were overpriced for the work they did. But, he did what I wanted him to do. The quality of the work was good and he was nice.

It was ok. We’re happy. The owner is extremely nice no matter how small the job is.

It was absolutely terrible. I felt I got ripped off. The guy that worked for him even told me that he would come back out and do it for me for half price on his own and that was also a rip off. I paid $1400 for a job that probably could have cost me $300. I would never use them again.

Everything was good but it was really expensive. The minimum charge was not worth it.

We were pleased at the time that they were able to do the work and the guy who did the work was nice and professional. However, ultimately we were very unhappy with the craft of the whole project. The window was fine, but the frame looked bad and was finished poorly. After my husband and I looked at it, we were very disappointed in the job they did.

I wasn’t very satisfied with them; it wasn’t level. I called them a couple of times and they came out to work on it; however, it’s just still not as good as I wanted it to be. It wasn’t fixed to my satisfaction and I wasn’t happy.

They were prompt and reasonably priced. They had somebody that was able to do multiple jobs for us.

He was slow in calling u back. We were having some drywall work that my dog had amaged.. It was only 7" wide x18" long. He wanted five hundred dollars just for that. We wanted to replace the attic vent, and he wanted two hundred fifty dollars for labor plus parts. We thought that was too expensive also we told him we didn't want him doing the job.

The people at Mr. Handyman have simply been outstanding to work with: prompt, courteous, professional, highly competent (the work gets done right), respectful of keeping the house clean, tolerant of my dogs (!), reasonably priced, and conscientious about follow-up. I had some very mediocre experiences with other providers in the past, but the Mr. Handyman experience has been consistently positive. Having discovered them a couple of years ago, I would never use anyone else.

Unfortunately I bought the wrong size hinges and they did not fit properly. The tech came up with an innovative solution to the problem so I could use the preferred hinges. Because of this the project scope basically doubled due to the amount of time involved to correct the situtation. The hour was late and I know he was tired but he continued on in an organized manner and didn't falter until the job was complete. Cabinets look great and I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

We hired Mr. Handyman to do a lot of little tasks at my mother's house (very picky). She had just been through a massive renovation and needed someone to finish up all the odds and ends. Mr. Handyman came out on 2 ocassions and did superior work for the price quoted. I couldn't ask more more.

Awful! First of all, if I remember correctly, my bill was around $1800. The first time they came out, the job was done well. While they were here, my HOA saw I had a large water leak. They asked me what equipment was needed and instead of going to a store close by, they would go all the way across town. They charged me for the service call and would service someone else near the other store. They also marked up the prices 150%. It took him 28 hours to hook up the stereo. They also claimed to be able to fix the fridge and then could not as they did not have the parts. They are only good at putting up pictures. I can't really use the stereo since it only works when I turn on the tv. I wouldn't allow them to put a thumb-tac in my wall.

I was extremely pleased. Keith showed up exactly on time, was very conscious of avoiding tracking dirt in the house, was very straightforward in communicating a couple of jobs that he thought I could more cost effectively handle another way, and was completely professional at all times. He did fast, high quality work, spotting a couple of other small jobs he could handle while he was there. I will hire him again for sure.

The work was done efficiently and very effectively. They offered a great value for the service they provided. I will use them again for other handyman work I need around the house.

Great, on time, on budget, finished on time.

I hired a cabinet company to do some job. They sub hired this handyman to remove the cabinet and do the plumbing. He was paid by the cabinet company that I hired. I liked his work.

Work was conracted for on an hourly basis due to the variety of repairs that needed to be performed. Dan the carpenter arrived on schedule and began work which lasted off and on for the better part of more than a week. He successfully repaired termite damage and structural issues related to settling of an old garage that others had told me could not be done. He found and replaced termite damage and rot in areas that were not readily apparent, and coordinated his work with the painter and roofer to facilitte their schedules. I look forward to having Dan and Mr. Handyman return as I start next on the inside work.

When I purchased this property, I found that there was a leak under the shower of my master bathroom. Gene was called, and he promptly sent a technician out to service my request. The technician spent a total of no more than 45 minutes applying approximately $.80 Silicone caulk to the drain of my shower, thinking that this would be the solution. At the time, I was was pleased with thier promptness and attention to my concerns. 24 hours later, however, after the silicone had dried, I used the shower, and again, it leaked. When I called Gene regarding the fact that the problem had not been fixed and that they had charged me a $ 60 service call charge plus almost $140 labor for a half hour /half a** job of fixing my problem, they replied that they did the best they could. Upon this statement, I offered to pay them the service charge of $60, if they would kindly refund me the money for the labor, which in my opinion, amounted to absolutely nothing more than a caulk gun and some pleasant conversation. This offer of mine was not possible, as they (as all businesses do) had a bottom line, and could not refund me the price of labor in this situation...after all, they did the best they could, right? Never mind the fact that their website touts a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Two hundred dollars to them is a service call....two hundred dollars to me is a long time at work. At this piont in time, I know, as well as you very well do, the situation was more severe than they first expected. I am not writing this to say that I am upset with thier work ethic or willingnes to do the work. I am simply writing this to let people know of Mr Handyman's unwillingness to accomodate a potential repeat customer. I say this, because, at the time, I WAS a potential repeat customer. They could have humored me and put that refunded money towards a complete fix of the problem, or some other solution. Instead I have found a different, more reputable contractor to understand my problem, charge me a fair price, and follow up on the results. Mr handyman of Louisville did NONE of these things

They were expensive, showed up on time and very professional and would hire them again and recommend them. They did good work and very nice as well. They were responsive.

Overall, everything went well. The handyman worked efficiently. He checked roof edge for possible leak, repaired some drywall, fixed window that would not open. (This did not last for some reason). There was an issue at complete regarding a coupon that I had but it was resolved. Overall I was pleased with the work and price I paid.
