house cleaning
+ -1 moreokay if you do not mind many overlooked areas. Promised same team for cleaning every time and ended up with new people each time. Always having to reteach preferred cleaning methods. They catch the obvious areas and overlook many needed areas. Have to ask for things to be done that should be an obvious every time action. Very pleasant workers but always in a rush to get out and never thorough. Ending service and going with an individual who will clean things the way I want them done instead of hit and miss.
Description of Work: Biweekly cleaning.

+ -1 moreGenerally, the ladies do a very good job, but not always great. When I make a cleaning suggestion/request, they always respond with a good attitude. They finish cleaning my 2.5-story home very quickly -- sometimes too quickly, however, and I find they missed a few details. For example, last Thursday my hardwood floors and tile dried with lots of streaks and smears. I have had to re-mop. I didn't see, but I believe the cleaning product(s) in the mop water were too concentrated. I'll speak with them next time.

+ -1 moreWe have had Molly Maid cleaning service, from 2007 to 2013. Since the original franchise was sold in 2012, the service has been average at best. They are not responsive to problems, different teams almost every time, can't clean stainless steel to save their lives.The most telling comment about their responsiveness, is when we called to cancel service, we had to leave a message, as usual. No one every called back to ask why? what can we do? nothing.
Description of Work: Bi-weekly cleaning of house.

+ -1 moreI would never use this company again. If I did, I would clarify what work they do and do not perform. I asked the manager outside of the dishes what I had asked them to do that was inappropriate and she could not answer the question. There are other good maid services out there so I would avoid this one at all costs. At the very least, they do not live up to their word.
Description of Work: The Molly maid manager said the maids would stay a minimum of six hours or as long as I needed them. I had been on bedrest from surgery and needed help getting the house together. One of the first things I asked them to do was load the dishwasher. They told me that they did not do dishes. The dishwasher was empty and there was about 4-5 plates in the sink. I have been lucky with my dishwasher because you do not have to rinse before loading it. They did finally agree to do that. They refused to do some other tasks such as move a box to the garage because they said it could hurt their back. I did not have my bedroom completely ready because they were supposed to be staying 6 hours. That is when they said they could not finish in there so they could do what they needed to do because they had 4 other houses to clean and needed to leave almost immediately. They did agree to change the sheets. They did not change the sheets in my 2nd bedroom or vacuum. Basically, they dusted and did some work in 2 bathrooms alhtough I had to go behind and clean it again. I called their manager several times to complain and she did finally call back and said the maids were upset because I asked them to do dishes and laundry. I never once asked them to do laundry- I realize that few maid services will do that. They did seem somewhat pleasant but were in a major hurry to leave. I do not understand whey the manager said they could stay so much longer when their schedule was full. I was so disappointed in them. I will never use them again and would encourage others to stay away unless you want to pay big bucks to get your house dusted a little. And believe me that is all you will get. Frances Weber

+ -1 moreMolly Maid is ok. They sometimes miss little areas for cleaning and they do have a guarantee to have them come back but I do not feel like messing around with that stuff and it is a little aggravating. I do not know that I would recommend them but I would not not recommend them. They are insured and it is tough to find a great company that is insured.
Description of Work: Molly Maid comes every two weeks to clean my house.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE COURTEOUS. THE CLEANING WAS GOOD. THEY DID WHAT I ASKED THEM TO DO.

+ -1 moreTHEY SENT THREE PEOPLE OUT, AND IT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A LOT LESS TIME THAN IT TOOK THEM. THEY WERE CHARGING ME MORE. SOME THINGS WERE NOT DONE THAT I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED BUT THEY DID COME BACK OUT THE NEXT DAY.
Description of Work: THEY DID AN INITIAL HOUSECLEANING INCLUDING VACUUMING, DUSTING, CLEANING THE BASEBOARDS, CLEANING SHOWERS AND TOILETS AND WIPING CABINETS.
