Mike Perry Masonry

This was a fantastic experience all around. I was pretty unhappy about the bricks pulling away from the house, but Mike's professionalism from estimate to finish made everything feel a lot better. Mike has an eye for quality and take the time to do the job right, even fixing other issues that pop up along the way. Mike showed up when he said he would, prepared his estimate, completed the work himself in a very timely manner, and charged exactly what the estimate said it would be. While I wish the builders would have done things right from the beginning, I feel good knowing Mike has fixed their disasters and has made sure the brick will be stable, safe and good-looking for years to come.

Mike Perry did a fantastic job on repairing the retaining wall. He did exactly what was contracted and was here the days he said he would be. He and his brother were very careful to clean up each day and the end product was great workmanship. I would recommend him to anyone who needed masonry work.

Mike was prompt for our scheduled estimate and prompt when we were finally able to schedule the work. He is friendly and courteous. The repairs look so good that my neighbor is using him as I write. I'd definitely use him again and will recommend him to my friends.

Called Mike and he was very responsive. He came to our home a few days later to see what needed to be done. Was very knowledgeable and pointed out a few other things that were in need of small repairs. Did the all the repair work in one day. Did a great job repairing the brick and mortar that was causing a leak.

Very well - Mike was very helpful when he came for the estimate. He explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate which I thought was fair. The work was completed in one day. The porch and house brick and mortar look great. Mike even took pictures of the chimney cap so that I could see his work - looks great as well.

Excellent job! The work was done with the highest quality. I plan to have the company redo my brick sidewalk and install another retaining wall in the back yard. No complaints - EXCELLENT workmanship.

After extensive searching, I hired Mike Perry to perform my chimney repair. We bought this house with a very degraded chimney. The bricks were falling apart and it wasn?t built to the right height. In addition, due to the height, the flashing that was put on wasn?t working which led to a bad roof leak. After the initial start of work, Mike discovered that the chimney was in worse shape than previously thought. It was a large, hollow chimney (I have a wood burning insert) that whoever built it just used scrap wood for supports. Mike was able to build a platform and place the correct fill need for the new chimney section without just giving up and saying that I needed a whole new chimney. In addition, due to the age of the brick, which are not made anymore, he was able to find brick that closely resembled the color of mine as well as correctly align them without completely cutting everything apart. Once the job was done, the chimney looks great and I am very satisfied with the work. Even with our hiccup of not knowing the full extent of the chimney condition, Mike was able to complete the job in just a few days. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing chimney repairs.

I called several brick masons to get estimates on the repair of my fireplace, Mike Perry was the only one who returned my phone call. He came and looked at my chimney 2 days after I called him. He took several pictures and explained in detail what was wrong with my fireplace. I agreed to hire him, the next day he built scaffoldin around my fireplace, the following day he came early and repaired the fireplace (which required removing and replacing the top 4 rows of brick from my fireplace). When I arrived home from work that evening he explained what he did and made suggestions on how to prevent this type of damage from occurring in the future. Very knowledgable and helpful. I would definitely recommend you call him if you need repair work done on your fireplace.

I made several calls to brick masons and most of them were not interested in my job because it was not large enough for them. Mike was able purchase bricks that matched the ones on the house. The job required him to remove bricks from three areas and replace them with new ones. All work was completed in a timely manner and you cannot tell that any bricks were ever removed. Job site was left spotless.

Outstanding from start to finish. Had to remove old damaged brick then rebuild and cap part of the wall. Several day job. New brickwork looks perfect, if his bricks don't look straight and even, then there is something wrong with your eyes. In addition he is friendly, professional and courteous. Easy to reach by phone or text. Explained the process and the issue with the old wall. He even loaned us his leaf blower!

Mike knows masonry. Very high quality. He reasonably priced, but he's not rock bottom, if you are looking for the cheapest then Mike is not your guy. We hired him because he was very confident and knowledgable. And he has strong ratings on Angie's list to back it up. He shows picture examples of work that he recently completed.

Mr. Perry is very reliable and called me back several times prio to his work. His estimate was very reasonable. He arrived on time, was very polite, depenable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Perry or call him again for any additional work.

Mr. Perry spent several days repairing a brick patio and a badly deteriorated brick walkway with several sets of stairs that needed to be rebuilt. Mr. Perry was courteous, professional, and informative. The quality of work performed was excellent. He made sure that the area was completely cleaned up after each day's work. It is obvious that Mr. Perry cares about doing high quality work. It is refreshing to see this level of craftsmanship. If the need arises we will definitely seek his help again. I can recommend Mr. Perry highly and without reservation to anyone needing masonry work.

Mike is a total professional. He's dependable, always polite and cheerful, and explained to me in great detail what repairs were needed. He took "before" and "after" photos. He not only explained exactly what he had done, but invited me to view it firsthand from the scaffold (which I did). Mike cleaned up and hosed off my patio. Mike does beautiful work and I look forward to having him back for future projects. No complaints whatsoever.

Mike gave us the most reasonable estimate out of 3 companies. We were so impressed with his knowledge and detail. We had cracks, sunken areas where water stood and grass growing between bricks. Mike came in and removed the pavers, fixed crack in concrete, rebuilt 2 steps, relaid the pavers properly so the water would drain down the yard and sealed it (good for 8 years.) Our walkway has a curve and flairs out to a round step to porch. He matched the porch pavers and grout perfectly. The lines of grout are perfectly straight and the curve is beautifully done. Mike obviously takes pride in his workmanship and we highly recommend him.

Mike powered washed the concrete pool deck, and did a beautiful and thorough job, taking almost 5 hrs. He then repaired flagstones at my front entry, and rather than just tuck pointing and patching, he removed the stones, and regrouted and set them so that they would last. He was extremely professional and did a wonderful job.

I contacted Mike by e-mail. He was quick to reply. He asked for photos of the brick on the front of my home to match the brick. We communicated several times by e-mail and phone, as the weather held some things up. Mike is professional and punctual. He is a true craftsman. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for any type of masonry work
