These people were horrible. In January it was determined that I needed a thermostat that read the outdoor temperature because I have dual fuel. They sent out a nice young man who had no clue what he was doing. He came back with a thermostat that did not work, then no contact for months. This work was through the American Home Shield Home Warranty company. I finally asked for another company, they sent Leezer Mechanical. The same rude technician was boss now of that company. They sent a technician who was in a great hurry, he installed the thermostat. We could hear the fan working. He left, we found out the compressor wasn't running. I called and was told he could not come back until another day. By then I did not want to see anyone from this company. I called the company that installed the system, they came out within the hour, all was well. So, $400 later, I will never use Maxx or Leezer again.

It went very well the tech they sent out was very professional and he knew his job very well. I would recommend the company for any heating and air problems

Our AC unit died and we still had time on the home warranty. We called 2-10 Warranty and they set us up with Maxx. Their guys came out and told us the entire old system had to be replaced & they'd order a new unit and compressor. It arrived in town a few days later and then sat at the receiving warehouse for a week because the warranty company specified it to be picked up and Maxx Mechanical demanded that it be delivered. With a week's worth of calling both companies daily by my husband, they finally worked something out and came out on a Tuesday afternoon. They didn't finish and said they'd be back Wednesday morning by 9 am. I took off work and waited. By 11 o'clock and no call, I called the office. According to the woman who answered, the work guys "weren't answering their phone". She'd call me back when she got ahold of them. Noon rolls by - no call. 1:30 rolls around and they're finally here. No, "Sorry we're running behind today " or anything. The first words from the older guys mouth was, "Can I use your bathroom?" The younger guy's first words were, "Do you have a check?" They get to work and within 20 minutes the older guy comes shouting up the basement stairs to me (he's shirtless now with ample butt crack showing) that the younger guy has cut himself badly. He grabs a towel from my laundry and asks if he can use that for the bleeding. I hand him a box of old towels and rags from the workroom, and they hastily took off to the hospital. I'm left with their equipment and blood drips all over my basement floor. I am typing this up now, with the job as yet unfinished, as a way to calm my extremely irritated nerves. The lack of professionalism is beyond believable. Do not have work done by these yokels, please. FOLLOW UP: System froze up within weeks. Maxx has disappeared - totally unreachable. We finally got another company out here and discovered Maxx literally did half the job. The copper lines connecting inside to out are too small and were not replaced, Freon is leaking, and an essential part wasn't even installed - it's still taped to the side of the compressor!! Beyond unbelievable.
