Very well. From the moment, we received the quote and made a decision....it took less than a week for a team to begin the work. The team from Maeser showed up on time and began the "legacy" removal and new install. The install required a bit of added distance to the new hardware location, but the Maeser team handled everything with care and professionalism. Entire job took about six hours for two people. The sales person came by to check on things during the job. The team answered all the questions I had about the new equipment and piping. A very patient and efficient team.

Plumber arrived within 4 hours of having been called. Service was clean and neat and completed in a short time. Plumber wore bootees whenever he entered my home and was very courteous.

Great professional work. Installed a cabinet sink and took the time to cut out cord around for a better fit to the wall. Matched a local big box stores installation price.

They charged me $200 for their service. I thought they were very good. They were extremely prompt, clean, and efficient. I really felt like they got to the bottom of the problem. They did a good job. I will use them again in the future.

I came home at 11:00 PM Friday night to a cold home. My Furnace was not putting out any heat (although the furnace was working and warm). My laundry room in the basement which is usually the coldest room of my home was now the warmest. We slept by the fireplace and the next morning checked Angle?s List and the internet to figure who to use to repair. It was Saturday and Maeser?s did not charge a premium for Saturday during the day. They were very nice and professional on the phone while setting up my appointment. The technician, Kurt who came out, was also very nice and professional. He explained to us what needed to be done and then completed the work within a short time. Our blower motor for the furnace was dead and needed to be replaced. My furnace is 9 years old and he explained that the blower motors usually last around 20 years, so this was not very unusual. We were very pleased and will be using Maeser?s again if needed. We will also be recommending them to friends and family.

They're great. I would highly recommend them. They are thorough, on time, they're professional, they're honest. They're a good company.

They were top notch. I have no complaints at all. They did everything that I asked them to do. They were responsible. They had their won workers and subcontractors. Their own workers were supervising. I did not have any problem. I would not have any hesitation to recommend them to others.

I am currently under contract to sell my home and 2 items noted on the repair request list following the home inspection were to address a leak at the packing nut for the main water shut off valve and to have the furnace cleaned and checked out. I found Maeser to have frequent and great reviews on Angie's List, so I decided to try them out, and I was not disappointed. I was given a very timely appointment and a specific first call time window, and notification that I would be called 30 minutes prior to arrival of the technicians. Being that this was a multi-discipline repair (HVAC & Plumbing), multiple technicians had to be sent out, and all arrived within the specified time. All were friendly, courteous, and clean (wore the covers on their shoes). Furnace was cleaned, serviced, and checked out. Luckily, no issues were found. $99 charge. The main water shut off valve was very old, so a new one was installed. I'm not a plumber, but know a thing or two about piping and valve systems, and it looked to be a quality installation. $199 charge. All technicians cleaned up properly prior to leaving. The only issue I had was that I was a bit surprised at the cost of the main water shut off valve installation at $199. Given the easy access for my valve, and easy draining of the system (providing for an easy installation), I felt that this charge should have been more in the $100-$150 range. Other than that, I was very pleased with the service and will use Maeser again.

The plumbers were courteous and on time. They did a good job on the repair. The only cons were the price. I felt it was quite expensive for something that took less than an hour. The plumbers were professional in most ways, but did leave somewhat of a mess. I didn't realize how much splatter there was on the basement walls until a few days after they left when I was doing laundry. overall, I would use them again, but would get estimates from other plumbers first. I had an emergency situation that didn't really give me the opportunity to get other estimates.

The technician was very professional and quickly replaced the motor. They charged me a standard fee for motor replacement.

This was a standard check/cleaning of our unit to ensure that everything was in good working order. The service was provided in a professional and efficient manner.

Water began leaking under the baseboard in the basement of the townhouse. Water had to be cut off at the street by the water company at 9:00pm on a friday. Called Maeser, they came on monday with a backhoe, they also called a company called Pinpoint which came and located the underground services. Maeser dug up and replaced a leaking water line from the townhouse to the water meter across the yard. Service and courtesy was the best! They took care of everything and left specific instructions as to what they would do after the local follow-up inspections were made by the city. It was a joy to do business with such a professional company.

We added a ventless fireplace to our newly finished basement. We were very pleased with the work of Maeser Plumbing. They were very informative on how to use the product. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

I was very pleased with their work. They installed everything correct the first time. I had them install a bathroom sink, toilet and shower. I loved it so much that I would like to update the other bathrooms in my home.

I had an AWESOME experience with Maeser. My garbage disposal went out on a Monday morning and they were able to get a plumber to my house the same day. I am very happy with the installation.

I discovered that one of my two central AC units was not working. The motor outside wasn't making a sound, whereas the other one was. My house was getting pretty hot. I checked Angie's List to help me choose a company to fix my AC. My service call was scheduled at a time convenient for me. The folks at Maeser came promply and came when they said they would. They were courteous and efficient. I would use their services again.

It was a great experience. I called them when the pipe broke and they told me about the costs upfront. Within an hour and a half they had sent someone out to my house and the break was mended. The price seemed pretty reasonable to me, thought I didn't really have time to shop around because I didn't want to worry about water leaking.

I was VERY impressed with this company. They responded immediately to my problem of no A/C with a big birthday party coming up. After quickly diagnosing and fixing the problem, I found their bill of $145 very reasonable. On Sunday, the day of the party, I again experienced a problem of no A/C and was in a panic. I called Maser and they immediately sent somebody out. As it turns out, we had "frozen" the unit somehow, and they didn't even charge us again to identify and fix the problem. I will DEFINITELY use them again!!!

After calling LG&E suspecting a gas leak in the basement, they came and shut off the gas supply to the house. It was thought there was a leak at the furnace, as well as the hot water heater, possibly elsewhere. Called the company who installed furnace and air and made arrangements for repair. No one showed up. I then called Maeser who came out promptly, looked over the situation, gave me an estimate for work to be done. It included two new valves - one for furnace and one for water heater. The work was completed in less than an hour but the two workers who came were extremely professional and courteous. Even to the point of calling LG&E for me to let them know that the work was completed and to send someone out quickly to turn the gas back on. Within 45 min., I was back in business. I would definitely call Maeser again.

I just purchased my first home, a condo in Old Louisville in October of 2009. In May I received a call on a Saturday afternoon from the owner of the unit below mine that there was water actively leaking through his ceiling. I was told that the condo association has used this company in the past so I gave them a call. Assuming this was a plumbing issue that is who they sent out, a plumber, it turned out to have nothing to do with plumbing but rather the air conditioning units condensation overflow line had backed up with rust. Even though the service tech was technically from the plumbing side and not there to work on Heating and Air he still found the problem and fixed it for me so that I would not have to have another worker come out that would have also cost me more money. Unfortunately I did have to call them again this past weekend because my Air Unit stopped blowing cold air, it was still running but not cooling. Having had such a good experience last time and knowing that they do have an Heating and Air division I called them again. Again arrived a very nice young man who had the problem fixed within about 40 minutes. Apparently air conditioning units on the ground outside will build up leaves and mud inside which can and did fry some of the wires, which I of course did not know having not ever been in a position to need to before. For the second time the service tech sent by this company went above and beyond and not only fixed the wires but also found a hose, which was not hooked to a faucet but found one and cleaned out the unit for me. I can tell you from experience as a single woman in any situation I am always on guard with a new vendor watching for how they're going to treat me and especially in a situation where everything is new it is a very pleasant relief to feel like your being treated as a valued customer and not just a source of money.

The AC stopped working. I was clueless; the unit is about 8 years old, wasn't top of the line new and we've done very little preventive maintenance beyond changing the filter. Technician found the problem in maybe five minutes, obtained the part, installed it and was out in about an hour. He was competent and professional . You can get a good condensate pump for $60, $80 and it's a quick and simple install, so it's possible some other outfit might have done it a little cheaper. But some other outfit could just as easily sold me the pump after a new compressor didn't do the trick. Over the long run getting it done right the first time probably doesn't cost more, and I avoid that head-vein-throb thing that happens when I get ripped off.

I was having a couple of pin holes a year in the copper. They put in plastic piping. The heating system was eligible for the tax credit. Their work was very satisfactory. They were pros and it didn't drag out at all. They did the work in two days and did the finishing work in 1/2 day. I had gotten some other bids. I did not have any problems. They said to set a date and they would make it work. Their professionalism is superb.

Fast and professional, however $95.00 seems a little expensive for a quick evaluation and cleaning the a/c unit. Total time working was less then an hour. The technician did have to wait for me to arrive but only because he showed up three hours early without a call to notify me until he was already at my house.

Maeser was professional and prompt, came out on Good Friday within 4 hours of the initial call. It was nice to get the problem solved before the weekend so we could use our sink and dishwasher again. I was told that they would come by the end of the day and that I would be called before their arrival. They did exactly what they said and when the plumber, Mark Kayse, came to the door he was dressed professionally and handed me his business card. Mark took a look at the problem, suggested two solutions and let me pick which one I liked best. He had the prices laid out and didn't deviate from them when it came time to pay them. He and his assistant were kind and courteous, and did what would have taken me all day (if I had the tools and expertise) in an hour and a half. They even fixed a few minor things for free that weren't in the original agreement, which was very nice. From this experience, I would highly recommend Maeser for anyone needing their services. I was very worried about the expense and quality of the work to be done prior to looking on Angie's List, but after this I will definitely use Angie's List in the future to find any other service I might need.
