Description of Work: Needed my kitchen remodeled.

Description of Work: M&P Construction ADDED a BRAND NEW KITCHEN on the 2nd floor of my duplex. Richard and Greg installed NEW PLUMBING and ELECTRICAL from the 2nd floor all the way down to the basement on the inside of my house, preserving the quality of the house & exterior aesthetic of having ugly pipes/wires and were able to minimize tearing down walls and ceilings. I really appreciated overhearing them throwing ideas back and forth until they agreed on the most cost-efficient method (thank you guys) for the house design without comprising quality. They presented all the pros/cons of each option, their personal recommendation, and let me decide. They did an awesome job installing my cabinets, sink, backsplash, appliances, drywall and all the repairs to make my kitchen enjoyable to cook in. If I could post pictures of it here, I would show you what a great job they did! Want to know more awesome things? M&P converted an area of dead-space into an in-suite laundry room for me. Brilliant! They of course had to do the same arduous work of installing new plumbing and electrical for the laundry room down to the basement and even added a separate electrical switch/panel (?? incorrect terminology??) for the washer/dryer so it wouldn't overload the existing electric panel. These guys are great. Richard & Greg also added skylights in the main bedroom without compromising the roofing. How do I know? The ultimate test came when we had our awful winter with never-ending rain, snowstorms, thunderstorms and there was not the slightest sign of water leaking or damage in the quality of work M&P completed. My attic, which was in the main bedroom was opened up and is now a bright & airy loft-like area to provide me with some respite away from the chaos. I was especially ecstatic with the new addition of 2 doors in my house. 1 door functions to separate the 1st & 2nd floor, giving our tenants their own privacy and me the quiet I need. I'm not sure what kind of door he used, but I don't even know if my tenants are home or not. Richard went over & beyond with making sure his work was perfect and came back to re-do part of the wall & crown molding because he thought it wasn’t straight. I told him I thought it was fine and that he didn’t need to re-do this in the scorching heat, but he insisted his work must be completed with precision & perfection and came on his Saturday. M&P also added the main front entry door to our 2nd floor unit and exemplified his level of expertise as he gave me various options and different scenarios regarding aesthetics, energy efficiency, city codes & regulations, and safety for each door!! Quite impressive! M&P also removed all of our hot water plumbing that was corroded, leaking, and replaced it with new piping throughout the basement. When I asked about doing this for the cold water pipes also, he was very nice and told me though he could replace it for me, since it isn't leaking or corroded, I could replace it if/when it does show signs of damage. I thought this was VERY VERY VERY nice of him. I mean, there aren't many contractors out there that are considerate of your $$ like Richard.

Description of Work: Upon moving into our new house, we had a few items that we wanted to address immediately. Richard and M&P help us replace rotten wood around two of our windows as well as install a 150ft of wood fencing (to complete our backyard).
