Lowe's of SW Louisville

They are alright. I like Lowe's and Home Depot about the same. One week I go to Lowe's and then one week I go to Home Depot. Their prices are reasonable and I do not have a problem with their punctuality.

When the installer arrived, he measured to ensure that the door would fit. He determined that the standard door wouldn't fit so I had to order a custom size. Once the custom door arrived, Lowe's contacted me to let me know that it had arrived and that the installer would call me within 48 hours to arrange an installation date. He called the next day. The door was installed and it's wonderful. The installer took the time to point out the door's operations. Lowe's was great at working with me though I had provided them the wrong measurements (by a 1/2"). Let me say that it's imperative that you take at least three measurements, across the top, middle, and bottom.

The contractor called that same afternoon (Friday) and I scheduled the installation for the following Wednesday. He called a few hours prior to the scheduled time as he was ahead of schedule, to see if he could install earlier than scheduled. He verified (by measuring) that the door was the right size. When I had measured, I took one measurement, he took three, and seen that the opening was a tad smaller in one area. It may have taken him an additional 10 minutes or so to make the necessary adjustments. The door looks wonderful and operates great as well. I' m so pleased that I'm going to Lowe's to purchase a storm door for the front (which just happens to be on sale). .....truly a great experience.
