Description of Work: Trimmed and thinned a mature deciduous tree in the front yard, trimmed the lower branches from a pine tree in our back yard, used a stump grinder to grind out 5 small tree stumps from some ornamental juniper shrubs which had become weakened by disease and cut down by us. |The owner met me to estimate the job. He was very knowledgeable and keen to promote the health of the trees. The price was comparable to others but the use of a stump grinder to take out the 5 stumps came with the added benefit to me of grinding up the weed cover around the stumps and preparing the soil better for replanting. On the day of the work the crew came a little earlier than scheduled which suited me. They were professional, respectful, knowledgeable and thorough. |I would hire this provider again.

Description of Work: I had a 12 year old Cherry tree taken down in my back yard and the stump removed, also had two smaller stumps removed from my front yard (that remained from a previous contractor after trees were removed). Because my back yard is so small and fenced, the crew had to remove a section of my privacy fence, they did so with ease and replaced it exactly as they found it.

Description of Work: After a bad experience with another company that couldnt complete the job of removing my trees, I contracted Louisville Tree Services LLC. They had to complete the job of sectioning up a large water maple tree, haul off all the wood and brush and then grind two stumps.

Description of Work: I lost a huge willow oak in a wind storm. After getting several estimates, I decided on LouisvilleTree Service. Their estimate was not the lowest, nor the highest but after talking to John (the owner) on the the phone I felt confident in his services. We spoke several times and he always explained everything which would happen and answered all my questions patiently. He was also flexible when I changed my mind about what I wanted done. There was some time in between accepting their bid and having the work done due to their volume of work from the storm. I was anxious to get the tree removed and John sent his crew over to start the work a week early to get started and to remove a small sasafrass tree which was dead. On the day they came with a crane to remove the bulk of the tree, the crane arrived exactly at 8am as scheduled and the crew arrived shortly thereafter. They went right to work and kept working till lunchtime. they cleaned up as they worked and were mindful of the power lines and my existing plantings. They had to make 2 trips with trunk and roots. The stump area was ground the next day. I was very happy with the they did and will hire the.m again

Description of Work: There are two trees in my backyard the branches were hanging down close to the ground, and very full in the middle of these trees (were at least 30 years old). They trimmed them so that winds could pass thru the trees, and to remove branches that where hanging over my roof.

Description of Work: Very large Sycamore tree (100+ feet tall) was cut down using a crane and several brave men who were suspended in the tree while cutting it down a piece at a time. They were unable to simply drop the tree as there was nowhere for it to go without doing damage to something like my house. They also (not included in the original discussion/quote) cut and lifted a tree (over the house) growing in my back yard as it was encroaching on the septic system. There were two other trees (River Birches...yuck) they cutdown while they were here. There was a huge Beech trunk and rootball as a result of the storms 3 years ago that we were hopeful could be lifted by the crane and taken away. It wound up took large and heavy for the crane to handle. (The amount on the original quote for this part of the service was deducted from the final charges.) In addition to the removal of 4 trees (1 very large, 3 medium sized), the crew worked their way out my driveway trimming and cleaning up debris/branches that had been piled up over the past 2-3 years. All branches, limbs, etc were chipped and I wound up with 2 very large piles of mulch that I can later use for flower beds, etc. This was at my request and if necessary they would have hauled this away. The crane truck took away the large trunk pieces that would not go through the chipper. The was an arborist on the crew and he pruned many trees that were in need of care. A service I had not expected. They cleaned up very well and did not damage anything.

Description of Work: Cleared 25 feet of weed trees over 25 feet tall located between two sets of utility lines. Ground 25 feet of stumps in the same area. Ground approximately 10 small weed stumps in the back yard and one large hackberry stump. Left wood chips.
