These guys are phenomenal! The first time they came out was early evening. I needed something out of an old safe but couldn't get it open. One of the owners answered my call and came right out to see what he could do. Unfortunately, after spending about an hour or more he couldn't either, but he left with a plan to have the safe company send him a part that was supposed to fix the problem. When the part arrived it didn't help, so we decided that the safe would have to be drilled. They sent me estimates for a new safe and called me to set up an appointment. I did not get one of their safes, but when I purchased one they came out to open the old one. The morning of our appointment the owner called to let me know he was on his way. He took the old safe out to the truck to drill it (it made quite a mess!). Before he opened it he called me out. Then he helped me set up my new safe. I thought that I would have been charged for the original service call, but was only charged for this visit. I found the owner to be polite, prompt and thorough. His staff was also very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend lockdoctor to anyone needing this kind of service!

I scheduled an appointment to meet them at a location in Louisville (I live in a rural area and it would have been more expensive for them to come to me). The lady who helped me set up the appointment, Lavonda I think was her name, was extremely helpful, very friendly on the phone, and a joy to speak with. Michael arrived at the location five minutes before the appointment time. It doesn't get more prompt than that. I had only one working key for my truck. Since all US autos now have transponder keys, it is not as simple as cutting a replacement key. For my particular vehicle, if I had two working keys I could have programmed other keys. But since I had only one working key, I had to either take it to the dealership of call a locksmith. Michael presented me with different options for having two keys: reprogramming my extra nonworking key or making a new key. I went with the former option since it was a bit less expensive. Michael completed the work within a few minutes. He was kind, friendly, and professional. He explained the work he performed very well. I?m pretty handy and try to do most of my auto/home fixes myself. Consequently, I don?t have a lot of experience with locksmiths and thus I can?t say with confidence whether the pricing was great. Based on my research on what the dealership would charge me Lock Doctor was much more affordable. I did call one other locksmith before deciding on Lock Doctor, and LD was about 15-20% cheaper. It would be difficult for me to be more pleased with the work they did and the manner in which they performed it.

Excellent service! My wife was home alone with the provider and he was extremely cordial and helpful. Lock Doctor had a great deal/rate to re-key all of our doors. Would recommend them to anyone.

There were two lock persons. They were friendly and went immediately to work. They recognized that two of our doors needed adjustment so that the dead bolts would work. They carried out the work quickly and explained what they were doing. We were very impressed and will call this company if we need them in the future.

After posting this review, the office manager got in contact with me to apologize for their technician not providing me with the 10% discount, and got my contact information and send me a refund. I wasn't dissatisfied with the experience to start, but this kind of extra mile really helps. I will definitely use them again if I need services, and strongly recommend them.

He was just a really pleasent guy and really professional and they showed up on time.

I called to get a quote on getting locks re-keyed and was able to schedule an appointment for just a few days later that fit nicely into my busy work schedule. Scott was the locksmith who came out on the day of service. He was kind, thoughtful, and professional. Gave me plenty of notice for when he would be at the house within my original 2 hour time frame and was very punctual. He took all the locks to his truck to work on and was able to drill a hole and install a new deadbolt on the door to the garage in the same visit. He cut four keys for me and made sure all the keys worked in all the new locks before he left. Was able to email my receipt to me before he left and everything was completed in less than an hour. I will definitely use them in the future if needed and would highly recommend.

I was able to schedule a service call for later in the day of my call for service. Service person arrived promptly on schedule. He was very personable, courteous and professional. Very pleased with the service. Would definitely call again and will recommend services to others.

Called business about 1 pm or so, spoke to Corie, advised I seen the business on Angie's List, and requested the 75.00 special for installing two deadbolt locks on our home. Scott called 3:05 p.m., arrived by 3:35 pm, and did work requested within the hour. We are very pleased with Lock Doctor LLC. I will recommend this Company to anyone who ask my advice on who to call.

We placed a call at about 5:00 on Monday after noon advising we were an Angie's List member and that I was needed some locks rekeyed. Scott asked me a few questions and then gave me a quote that included his Angie's List discount. Scott advised that he could make me his first appointment the next morning at 9:00a (I was actually hoping just for a time that week so I was very impressed with the available time). He called me about 20 minutes prior to arrival, and arrived right at 9:00a. We again walked through my needs. Quickly removed the 3 locks that needed to be worked on and took them out to his truck to do all the necessary work. He actually found that one of the locks still had the "master pins" in them, the house is about 20 years old and we are the forth family to live there so this was a big surprise. He fixed every thing, reinstalled the locks and within about 40 minutes had all work completed. He asked me to check all the new keys he cut before asking for payment. Scott was very pleasant and very professional to work with. This was a great experience and I will definitely use Lock Doctor again.

The provider was able to schedule me within one day, came in the 2-hour span promised, and was able to repair the lock instead of replacing it.

customer service was terrific. The tech arrived on time and was very professional. The job was completed and billed as quoted. They were very flexible and worked with me. I priced the job with four local companies and Lock Doctor was the cheapest. sometimes you get what you paid for but in this instance I received $$$ service for $ pricing.

I contacted the Lock Doctor about replacing a master car key for a 2011 Toyota Avalon I had lost and talked to Cori. She was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. She explained that there were several different keys and wanted to make sure they had the right one. I described the key to her and she said she thought they had the right one but e-mailed me a picture to make sure. I called back the next day to set up an appointment. Mike was right on time and also very friendly and professional. In less than 15 minutes he had cut the new key, programmed the remote functions and the transponder and checked it out. A great job from friendly, professionals and at a price much less than a dealer would charge. I highly recommend them for any locksmith work you may need.

I called probably around 1:30 to schedule a lock replacement or rekeying and was told there was someone in the area that could come when his current job was completed. Got a call about 2 hours later saying Michael was on his way. Michael (Luka, co-owner) said rekeying would work, explained the pricing, and said although he thought he could reprogram the garage keypad he wouldn't know for sure until he tried. I didn't understand that the rekeying fee applied to each side of a double lock so that was a bit more than expected, but his being able to reprogram the garage keypad saved me a separate service call so it evened out. $45 service call charge, 12 rekeys at $12 each + $15 for the 2 reprogrammings) minus Angie's List 10% discount = $183.60. 4 hour turnaround on a (albeit simple) job well and professionally done ? kudos to Corrie (sp?) who answered the phone as well ? equals a happy camper.

Very happy with services received. I requested a service appointment thru Angies List and promptly received a phone call to gather further information and schedule an appointment. Scott called to give notice and arrived at the schedule time. He was very professional and helpful. I would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Our home had been broken into and our peace of mind shattered. I called Lock Doctor, LLC Tuesday morning, their technicians arrived Tuesday afternoon and secured all the locks on my home. We slept like babies that night! Our side door had been kicked in by the thieves. The door was steel and not damaged but the frame broke. Lock Doctor fixed my frame so that the door could be secured better than before and added deadbolts to that door and all my other outside doors. They further enhanced the security of my main door which already had a deadbolt but was not completely and properly installed by the door company. Once your home has been invaded you cannot put a price on your security or peace of mind. For a reasonable price, Lock Doctor placed several very good quality deadbolt locks and new handles, did an excellent job, left no trace that they were even there and were prompt and friendly. I would definitely use their servic es again, if needed. THANK YOU LOCK DOCTOR, LLC!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, WE ALL NEED TO FEEL SECURE IN OUR HOMES!

Scott Horror came out and provided the locksmith service. He did a great job and is very personable. I highly recommend them.

I opened the mailbox the following week, to test the new key. It worked perfectly. The work they did involved destroying the old lock to gain access to the mailbox, then replacing that lock with the new one, then sending me the new keys. Their charge is lower than some other locksmiths would charge. It was $55 to rekey the mailbox, which included the cost of the trip and the new lock. $10 to send me the new keys in the mail. And I got a $6.50 Angie's List discount. So the total was $58.50, which was good, because a different locksmith might have charged a lot more. I was impressed with how fast they did it and how quickly I received the new keys.

This company is top notch. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I was able to schedule a next day appointment. The techs showed up on time and went able and beyond even fixing a door that wan't latching properly. I highly recommend and would definitely use again.

The locksmith came out 2 hours early and completed the job in a timely manner. He instructed me of all costs and was very forthcoming with all I was purchasing. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend hiring them again.
