I've had a few interactions with Lock Doctor and they have all been tremendous! The person taking the phone calls is extremely nice and helpful, the lock specialists (two did work for me) are outstanding at their job (extremely efficient and effective) and their price is more than reasonable for their work. I will only trust my lock work with the Lock Doctor.

My car's ignition lock had a key broken off in the lock cylinder. Michael Luka from lockdoctor came to my house, on time, fixed the lock and made me a new key. He was very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again.

I purchased a "big deal" off of Angie's List to have some new locks re-keyed to match our old locks. Unfortunately, I presented Lock Doctor with an impossible task. My mixture of Schlage and Kwickset locks simply could not be made to work with the same key. The gentleman spent approxiomately 2 hours here trying to make it work, but it was an impossibility. I was fine signing off on the job and paying Lock Doctor for their time, and did so. Approximately 30 min later I got a call from Lock Doctor instructing me to request a refund on the big deal since they couldn't complete the work on the impossible job. I repiled that I was happy to pay, he spent a long time here. They insisted that I should request a refund. Two tumbs up to these guys,

I called lock doctor in the morning and they set up a time to come out that afternoon. I told them I was 35 minutes away and could they call me before. They said they would be out between 2 and 4 and they would call beforehand. They called almost exactly 35 minutes before 2 and said they would be there at 2. I left immediately and we both arrived at the same time. The locksmith (Ryan) was very professional, introduced himself and set about getting my door open. The lock was very old and did not want to cooperate so we tried a different door and within about 20 seconds we were in. Then he went to replace the old lock on the front door, he tried to re-key it first but it was an old lock and he did not have keys to fit (not surprising since every key I've ever had made for that lock has not worked). He was very helpful and I am very relieved to finally have extra keys to my front door. The price was very reasonable too.

Scott, one of the owners, was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, honest, not pushy and friendly. We had 2 locks that were not the same brand as the other locks in the house. He explained the difference and how things are keyed. In the end, I decided to have him replace these locks to go with the other locks in our house. Scott also added a strike plate to one of our deadbolts that was missing and also carved out the deadbolt slot so that the deadbolt would lock properly. He installed everything in a timely manner and made sure each lock and key worked properly before leaving.

LockDoctor came on the day & time I was available. They were pleasant, courteous & business like. It took them a short time to do the job & it was a reasonable charge. If & when I need locks changed, I will call them again.

Scott was fantastic! He informed me that all 7 of our deadbolts were not engaging properly after he had chipped out the wood in the door frame so they would. He also put on a new keypad door knob. He was very friendly and professional and the extra work he did was at no charge. By far some of the best customer service we have received from the many service providers we have used since moving into our new house.

The person coordinating service was fabulous. We were waiting on parts from Baldwin before the service could be scheduled. The locksmith arrived on time worked steadily and was finished in no time. It was a pleasure to do business with these folks and would recommend them highly I am so pleased to have found them.

My experience was excellent. I purchased the discounted service call deal and scheduled a visit to make a key for a door to match the rest of the locks in the house. Scott called around a half hour before my scheduled time to confirm that he would be on the job on time. He was a couple minutes early and jumped right in. He invited me to watch him work. He explained what he was doing and showed me how to do it. Once the lock was rekeyed, he was not pleased with the way the bolt was closing. He chiseled out additional space to allow the bolt to fully extend and lock better. As an aside, I mentioned that I had a lock that worked after I jiggled it a bit and he fixed that too. When I got the bill, I said are you sure and he said he only charged for keying the lock. The rest of the work was their normal customer service. If you have been ripped off by others and are leery of locksmiths try these folks. You will be glad you did. There is no reason to put up with locks that don't work or carry a different key for every door in your house. Call the Lockdoctor.
