I had an extremely pleasant experience with them from start to finish. I called them about 30 min before I closed on a new condo today, and they were able to fit me into their busy schedule 4 hours later (even on a Friday of a holiday weekend)! Very professional, friendly, and efficient service. They re-keyed the locks on 2 doors and replaced the mailbox lock with a new one. I will keep their number handy and have no doubts about using their services again!

Wow what a great experience! Since my husband and I bought our old house we have had problem after problem with finding contractors who will answer our calls, give us an estimate, and complete the work in a reasonable timeframe at a reasonable rate. Working with Scott of Lock Doctor was definitely the exception to that rule! I was able to easily set up an appointment, get an estimate over the phone, he came out on time and did the work we needed plus extra! He easily installed the deadbolts into our old, warped doors and they look great and work perfectly. He also went above and beyond by fixing up our two front doors so we could actually use them instead of the porch door. We haven't been able to use our front door because the outer door wouldn't stay closed unless it was latched from the inside, and the inner door was hard to open. Scott took a look at them, figured out what was wrong, and was able (and willing!) to fix them even though the problems weren't directly related to the locks. If only he did electrical and general contracting work, too, we would be all set! Thank you thank you thank you! Highly recommend :)

Excellent! I called Lock Doctor last week and set up the appointment for a time that worked for me. The woman with whom I spoke was extremely kind and helpful. Scott from Lock Doctor arrived today exactly at 4:30 and was able to determine the problem we had in two deadbolts. He promptly fixed them and was finished by 5 pm! I was surprised by how quickly and inexpensively he was able to do the work. He didn't try to "sell" me on other services or hardware, which I appreciated. He was not only punctual but very professional and friendly. I would definitely use their services again, and will recommend them to everyone I know!

Our deadbolt lock was stuck and broken on one of our back doors. I called this morning to see if they could come out sometime. The lady on the phone was fantastic. She was super friendly and helpful. She scheduled them to come out this afternoon- around me picking up my daughter from school- and said that they would call when they were on their way. They did call right on time and arrived shortly after. Both the guys- Scott and Michael- were very friendly. They had to first get the door open- and then replace the deadbolt lock and the door knob. They had to do some adjusting to our door as well. They re-keyed the lock to fit our existing keys which was nice. They finished in under an hour and cleaned up the work space when they were finished. This door has always been hard to lock and unlock- and even open and close. It is perfect now! I was very, very happy with the work! Communication was fantastic- we talked about the door and some tweaks we need to do, and they also went over the bill with me. (i.e. cost of hardware, labor, re-keying, etc.) Plus, we got an Angie's List discount! This is a stellar company with a fantastic staff! Great work!

I called Lock Doctor LLC Friday around 6:30PM to inquire about having two double locks rekeyed. At 8:00PM Michael was there to complete the work. By 8:30PM everything was taken care of. I can't judge the price as I have never used a locksmith before but in terms of professionalism, punctuality, and follow through I was very impressed. I will most definitely keep their contact info should a future need arise, and will recommend them to friends and family.

I was wanting my locks re-keyed within a day or two. Lock Doctor was able to come within hours, arriving even earlier than anticipated. Two techs came and completed the job within 20 minutes. Locks were tested and they supplied as many keys as I wanted.

The lockset on our front door has not worked correctly for a long time. Only the deadbolt held the lock securely. I decided it was time to get this fixed. I called on Wednesday and set up an appointment for Friday morning. Scott came exactly when expected. He disassembled the entire lock and examined the problem. Rather than replacing the broken section of the mechanism, he was able to repair it. He decided that he would order that particualr piece anyway in case anyone else needs it. If it turns out that the repair doesn't hold and we need to use the replacement piece, our work today would be applied to the return visit. Scott was knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and thorough. I was very pleased with the job.

I asked for next day service and they were able to schedule. The men arrived on-time, and finished in under an hour. They were both professional and friendly and cleaned up area.

I called after 5 pm thinking I would leave a message. He answered and then was able to come to my house 30 minutes later. He was able to re-key all of my doorknobs and deadbolts to the same new key.

My friend locked his keys in his truck. The locksmith was in the area when we called and he came promptly and within 90 seconds opened the car. He was very friendly, appeared trustworthy from the time he drove up and smiled warmly as he drove away.
