I have used LEWIS DOOR SERVICE CO for door repairs and service for years. On Sunday my garage door came off the tracks. My attempt at repairs made it worse of course. Called Don Lewis and he sent Kyle to make repairs. Kyle was very professional and put everything back together quickly. Highly recommend LEWIS DOOR SERVICE CO. Thanks!

Jeff did a great job. He was able to install an 8x7 insulated steelback vinyl door, a beltless Liftmaster opener, torsion spring system, a new opener base and a wireless keypad, as well as a battery backup, new trim etc for less than bigger companies quoted me (not including battery backup or a keypad). He threw in nylon rollers. Absolute Overhead wanted $300 extra for them. To top it off he was professional and timely and knew what he was doing. Quote took 10 minutes, the actual replacement took about 3 hours and was done by the same person.

Door spring broke. It was recommended to go with a heavier spring due to the insulated door. He completed the work on the springs and even replaced the wheels.. The door is much quieter now.

We were unable to leave the house, and we were planning to leave on a trip. They did it within hours and they were very good about it. They turned out to be the original installer of the door, too, as I checked my records. Coming out the same day, that's normal. If you've got a broken spring, you can't drive out of your garage. It's to be expected. I plan to use them again. I think I just rushed in to Angie's list to see what was recommended and went with that. For all I know, they have a good rating. I'm not certain, but that would be what I usually would do.

Fast, and better than expected. The person who showed up was the same person that installed the doors originally for the previous owner! New him by his first name,and that was over 12 years ago. There were no reviews but I picked them anyway. Don't know why, but as they say - there are no coincidences! Great people, great service, and a shout out to Mr. Lewis himself for running a great company!

DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, FIXED IT. REPLACED A GEAR THAT WAS WORN AND TWEEKED MY DOOR SPRING AND ADJUSTED THE DOOR CLOSURE RATE.

$99.00 Garage door tune up. Frank informed me to do my second garage door it would be an additional $40.00. Frank replaced 20 rollers and tuned up 2 garage doors did an excellent job. The garage doors were operating better. Very satisfied.

I called this morning and they were not open until 8:00 am. So I sent an email. They called me at 8:30 am. Said they would have someone out before 12:00 pm. They came right on time. There was two men. They looked at the door and knew right away what the problem was. My garage door is old and very heavy. They told me that a spring was broke and they would have to replace it to get it to open. I had them replace both springs just to make sure that it didn't happen again soon. They were very nice and professional.

It was good. They serviced my garage. Scheduling went fine and I may use them again in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased. They called to schedule an appointment less than an hour after I purchased the service and the work was completed less than 12 hours later. My garage door was extremely loud when it was operating. I was hoping to reduce the noise with the tune up. The service person took time to explain the workings of the garage door, He replaced the rollers, lubricated everything, tightened the chain and inspected the opener. He did not try to get me to purchase extras or charge me for things that were not needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...I had Lewis Door Co. come out and replace the entire spring system on my garage door back on September 19, 2014. The original installation went fine. Total cost was around $350.00. The door worked great close to 4 months and then on January the 8th the entire cable system on one side unraveled and I couldn't shut my door. I called them and they sent a technician( his name Jeff S.) out that day and he fixed it. My wife was home at the time and when I returned she said they had charged us $125.00 to fix the door. I couldn't believe it. I called them that day and explained my disappointment in being charged. They said they would check into it and get back with me. I waited a week with no call from the company. I checked my bank statement and they had cashed our check. I spoke with a Don from the company this morning January 16, 2015 and he stated the door must have hit something in order for the cable to do that, I told Don I had security cameras all around my home including the garage door in question and I could go back 3 three weeks and see that the door had come down on nothing. He stated the 3 month warranty was up and there was nothing he could do. I HIGHLY recommend not using this company. They will not stand by work. Cables should not start unraveling after 4 months. I notified the BBB and they are sending me a complaint form. I will be filing a complaint with them immediately.

He arrived on time and was professional and helpful. He lubricated the door, replaced the rollers, and installed a new opener to replace the old one.

They are a great company. The cost was the $99 Big Deal. It was absolutely wonderful.

Work went very well. John showed up within the time window promised and he knows what he's doing. The door works smoothly and quietly, much quieter than before. He upgraded the springs to15,000-cycle springs and even replaced the nylon rope that is pulled when manual operation is necessary (I had broken the rope trying to switch unsuccessfully to manual operation). I couldn't be more pleased with the final result and the overall experience. The cost was about what I expected.
