Description of Work: Full house renovation

Description of Work: They put in a pump in my basement. I explained to them didn't have a lot of money and was putting the house up for sell, so i didn't need the most expensive pump. They could not figure out how the one in there was installed so they needed to do it another way. Since I had so much water in the basement I let them do it since the person that put the other one in was not a professional. The pump still lasted about 10 years. After they put it in it took the water right out, but was really loud. The whole night it ran like it was taking water out. It was loud and vibrated the floor. Called they came out and said the float was stuck and it stopped but was still loud. I explained to them i was moving trying to get the basement taken care of before. At different times it would get stuck again. We went to the house after moving and found the pump running apparently for some time. It was so hot it had to be unplugged. Leaving me with no pump and trying to put the house up for sell. I called kept getting and answering machine leaving messages. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day for over a week. Finally they answered (I believe by accident). I told them the problem said they would meet me when i got off from work. I called and called again no answer. Another week, i had someone else call for me they answered and she gave the phone to me. Again they promised to meet me and look at it. No show or answer again. They said there was a 3 year warranty on the pump but it is no good if they will not answer the phone or come out. I am stuck with paying over 400 dollars for a pump and having to get someone else to redo it and pay more money that i can not afford. I have a receipt saying i have a warranty. Suppose to be professionals licensed and in business for years.
