I cannot say enough good things about Kara and Kevin. As soon as I met them for an estimate they felt like friends. So personable, fun, and professional; not to mention their communication was on point. They had a super busy schedule, but managed to fit us in over a weekend. Truthfully, if I had to wait a year for them to get to my rooms I would have. The job they did is exceptional. Kara looked at the interior of my house and recommended a few colors that would tie in with my cabinets, countertops, and adjacent room. The color she chose was absolutely perfect. I would hire them again and again.

We hired "Kolors by Kara" to remove 2 layers of wallpaper from our master bathroom, then paint the walls and ceiling, and also paint 2 vanities. They did a fantastic job! We received a quote very quick. They showed up everyday on-time and got it ALL done in 3 1/2 days. They took time to skim coat, sand, and repair the walls before painting them. They paid close attention to detail and left everything clean. I would definitely hire them again!

Not everyone has the gift of painting. i am one of those who didn't get it so I have to turn to the professionals when I need something painted. i have used many painters throughout the years, and never found one that did the actual painting without leaving a mess or a not so quality job. Now that Kolors by Kara are a part of my world, i'll never use another painter. Kara was great at helping me decide on the perfect colors for my rooms. They were very professional and respectful of my home. Transitioning colors is hard for me. I'm happy with white but friends maintain I needed some tinge of color. They also painted my sons room which has been red and black for years. Since he's moved out, I am turning this room into a guest room. I wasn't convinced the red and black wouldn't bleed through the calmer more peaceful color I wanted. They ended up doing the job while I was out of town and was excited to return home to a fresh faced interior. Kara and her husband are so friendly, you felt like you were dealing with a long time friend. i will definitely hire her again and recommend her every time someone asks for a painter recommendation.

They were a joy to work with. Kara has an excellent eye for color and her recommendations were perfect. They both did a great job with edging and coverage and the rooms they painted look great. They addressed every concern we had, and went above and beyond to make us happy. They covered our furniture and the floor as they worked, and did a great job cleaning up when the work was done. We were so pleased with their work, we had them do additional rooms. Whenever we need painting, we will be calling them again.

Kara and Kevin were fantastic! Our home looks beautiful. Kara recommended the wall color and I love it! Their work is meticulous and they are the nicest people! We have extensive trimwork and they had to apply multiple coats (we went pure white over an almond color), and it looks even better than we had hoped. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kara and Kevin!! The paint store recommended them, I called, they came out and gave us an estimate, and it was seamless from there!! They are top notch people in EVERYTHING they do!!! Their work is outstanding, they showed up each time, on time, and didn’t leave until it was perfectly finished!!! These two are above and beyond people and I give them the highest of recommendations!! My fianceé and I both highly recommend Kolors by Kara for residential painting services. As consumers of painting services, we cared most about: (1) cost; (2) quality; and (3) professionalism. Kolors by Kara exceeded our expectations in all three criteria. They offered an affordable price for the services which initially lead us to obtain their services. They were extremely responsive prior to and throughout the job. They were timely, friendly, and just really fun to talk to! Plus, they gave us impromptu consultation which, ultimately, modified our initial plan for the better--at no extra cost. They clearly know their stuff. Finally, the quality of the job was remarkable. They applied the paint in a consistent, even manner which left absolutely no streaks. Their dexterity at wall and trim edges really shows in clean, crisp lines, allowing no paint to bleed over. While we, of course, cannot judge each and every painting service on the market, we cannot imagine how a better painting service would look. Kolors by Kara is the way to go . . . we already asked them for more work in our condo!

I wanted to write this review sooner but have spent the days since the job was finished admiring my "new" rooms. Kevin and Kara were friendly, extremely helpful in advice sought and ideas of their own. They were so neat, precise - no paint where it didn't belong. and although we had removed the previous wallpaper, they had to do a lot of prep on the walls and mantle. They were meticulous. They thoroughly cleaned up before they left and at the end of the job. They were patient with all my questions. I can't find one thing negative to say about them or their work. If ever I need more painting done I will call them and wait as long as I have to in order to have them paint for me again. They painted for me as if they were painting for themselves plus they are really pleasant people to have around. If there were A+ ratings above, that's what I'd give them.

Kara and her husband Kevin did an absolutely spectacular job on our home. We fell in love with the two of them the moment we met them and knew they would do an outstanding job turning our outdated colored and wallpapered home into a masterpiece - and they did it in a timely manner to boot. They only use the best materials, and it truly shows. We were given a quote the day we met, and that’s what we stuck to regardless of changes made. They are so personable and were so easy to work with. We were sad to see them go once the work was done (and so was our puppy, who certainly loved having Kara and Kevin around!).
