He was early with starting the project and went that extra mile to please us. We will have his company back for our driveways in the spring and will highly recommend this company to others.

Everything went very well.

We obtained Steve Koch's name from or esteemed architect, Ben Robbins, who had nothing but praise for him. We explained to Steve that we were getting ready to put our house on the market, and we needed a short retaining wall built -- rather quickly. This is the busiest time of year for Steve and the other people in his business, and this job was definitely small bananas in terms of his usual scope. But here's the impressive thing: Steve handled it as if we were the most important clients he has, and -- better sit down for this -- did the job exactly when he said he would, on time, finished when promised, for exactly the estimate cost, and it was perfect. And he and his son cleaned up after themselves, and (this is huge) didn't ask to borrow any of my tools, and took care of his own. And for any of you think that this last isn't important, then you should realize that to many people who take their tools seriously, borrowing another person's tools is tantamount to borrowing someone else's spouse. Just to repeat: Steve Koch did the job when he said he would, finished when promised, for the amount quoted, and did a beautiful job. What more could you ask for? I plan to give him all of the business I can find.
