I was working with the provider to schedule. Once it was past the expiration date of the offer, the provider quoted me another price. I requested a refund.

My daughter's service was good according to her. I never got mine scheduled although we talked a number of times. There were issues on both sides with scheduling and the service just dropped into a black hole.

We were having trouble with scheduling right away. He stalled and put me off. I let him know that I wanted our living room done. I knew it would probably be more than what the coupon paid for, but he estimated it to be another $200. He came over tonight and was here for only four minutes at most. We looked at my kitchen as well, but he said it would be an additional $100. That didn’t even include the walls or even moving anything. He told me he was looking for a bedroom with a window and a door opening. I feel like he wanted to splash some paint on the walls and call it a day. He just didn’t want to give us the time of day and was looking for a $500 job. I started to mention a refund and he told me “ya, just get the refund from Angie’s List”. He told us it would be best to get somebody else. He just didn’t want to mess with us. My neighbor saw him storm out and get into his car. He wasn’t professional at all and very rude. I would not hire him or recommend him to anyone.

It was fine. He was a great guy. He did a good job. I don't know if there is anything that really stood out. He was responsive. I think there was some miscommunication that delayed his painting but I don't put that on him. It was just miscommunication between the two of us.

Ky Paints was prompt in contacting me and scheduling the job. He showed up on time and completed the job within the time frame promised. I have scheduled additional work from Ky Paints and would recommend to friends.

Jim was awesome! He contacted me immediately after purchasing his service on Angie's List. He came out to look at job, discussed it with me and then returned to paint soon after. The paint job that he did is picture perfect! He is professional and also has a great personality, I would highly recommend him to anyone needing painting done in there home!

Jim Wandling did an excellent job of prepping the walls, which included removing some very difficult-to-remove adhesive strips from where we attached cork squares to the wall around a dart board. I also had an old water leak from my clothes washer one floor above in one area that he had to patch. These areas turned out beautifully. Jim's skill in cutting in different colors between the ceiling and wall as well as at the baseboard area was flawless. Jim arrived when he said he would and left my home clean. He used a HEPA filter vacuum after sanding the walls. Not only did he do excellent work, but he had a very pleasant and engaging personality. I would definitely use him again and have already recommended him to one of my friends. I thought his price was fair considering the amount of work he did.

Provider contacted me and said Angie's list forced him to provide a Big Deal. He said it was supposed to be for his immediate area only. He said I was 8 miles away and that was too far.

Once again the experience was great. Thus was the 2nd time we used. We actually have him scheduled for a 3rd job in the near future.

KY Paints is a small family style business, but they are fun and easy to work with. They say what they will do and do what they say. They are informal in their business process.

It went fantastic. I painted samples right on the wall and he was honest about the work needed to make the walls right due to MY paint testing. (Note: do samples on foam core, not on walls). Cared very much about my happiness. Still has it on his books to come out and touch up a VERY minor blemish. Nice lines. I appreciated seeing video of him cutting in a paint job on his website. It did take three visits to finish the job over two weeks due to drying times and working me around other clients. I do feel that is to be expected (as long as it is over a short amount of time, which it was.) Returned calls promptly. This is huge. I have dealt with many kinds people when renovating parts of my house and my number one complaint is lack of communication. Drives me nuts. James always called me back in a timely manner. Phew! I really appreciated that.

Very well. Showed up on time, with all the necessary equipment. Very professional, clean and articulate in informing me cost/status. Highly recommend.

Everything went very well. Good communication, good price and quality work. Came out right away and started the next day. Worked weekends and nights to get us done to convenience us.

I first came into contact with Kentucky Paints in December of last year. I was in the process of selling my home and needed to liven up the place with color, give it refresher, prior to selling. Mr. Wandling, the owner, was very professional and displayed a great eye for detail. He was very helpful in suggesting colors, and his timing of completeting the job was perfect. Due to the professionalism portrayed by Mr. Wandling and Kentucky Paints, I again called upon them to paint the entire condo that I purchased after selling my home. What a wonderful job.
