I went to Lowe’s looking at vanities and tubs as well as lighting and flooring for my exciting project. One of the Lowe’s employees in my local store in Campbellsville gave me the Rebath brochure and told me that is the contractor they now use. For some history, I had completed and still love a kitchen remodel done by this same Lowe’s store in 2017. I spent about $20,000. 00 on that project. So, I called the number on the brochure and scheduled the sales call. Big mistake. This is not a contractor who works with you to design your dream project using Lowe’s products. Oh no, I was up sold (my bad) to a $18,000.00 walk in tub. This took my budget for anything else to be done in my bathroom. I was told that changing the size of my vanity, for example, would “not work”. I now have a very expensive walk in tub with a shower head that is not what was promised when sold. My husband told the salesman that he wanted a “rain shower” head. No, we just have a shower head. But, it’s a good thing that we do have that because our hot water heater can’t fill this tub with warm water. So, basically, I have an $18,000.00 shower that is a very small space. Water also runs off of the edge under the shower head all the time we are using it right to my old flooring that I was unable to replace. This is causing a soft spot in the wood and I’m certain will be very concerning in the near future. I tried to cancel my purchase before any work was done but I was told that I could not because it had been more than 3 days and that my tub was a “special order”. That’s not true, he showed me the brochure that he ordered it from the night that he was in my beautiful kitchen for about 4 hours. It did not require any special sizing or changes, it came straight from the listing. I called when I realized that our 40 gallon gas hot water heater couldn’t fill it and the salesman told me that he would have a plumber get in touch but that call never came. It has been about 9 months now and I am just sick that I ever heard the name Rebath. Do not do business with these people.

"Thank you for your review. At Kentuckiana Re-Bath we take customer feedback very seriously. After reading your review I pulled your file and I would like to address a few items. 1. Kentuckiana Re-Bath designs and installs over 600 bathroom remodels every year and your design consultant has over a decade of experience. Our entire process is designed to listen to the client and to design the bath based on their desires, needs, and budget. 2. Just to clarify The Re_bath portion of your Walk-in Tub project was exactly $14,975.30. Not the $18,000 that you posted in your review. 3. As to the cancellation request. Our contracts through Lowes come with a standard 72 hours right of cancellation. After 72 hours we do accept terminations but at that point the client has to pay for any special order product. This is a fairly common practice in the remodeling industry that is designed to allow the client to terminate an order if some unforeseen event arises but also protects the contractor from incurring the cost of products and materials that they may not be able to resell. 4. While the Walk-in Tub you chose was a size offered in our brochure, it is in fact a special order product, not something that is a stock or inventory item. 5. As to your hot water heater. We typically recommend for your model tub that you have at least a 55-gallon water heater. I do apologize if the plumber our design consultant recommended did not reply to you. That is something we should have followed up on. If you are still in need of a plumber to upgrade your hot water heater feel free to reach out to our office and ask for Rob. I had options laid out for me very clearly. They were so great about making it work in such a small space. I also have an old house which always comes with surprises and they handled everything professionally. I am so happy with the new bathroom and it feels SO GOOD to know that all the underlying damage also was fixed in one swoop!

Install was professional, cleaned up well. in 3 months we had some caulk peel and they came out that week to repair the caulk. Looks professional. cleans easily. affordable

Installer arrived on time and did very good work. Job was completed in three days (only needed to do about 2 hours of work on third day). I really like Re-Bath product because I love the look of tile, but I hate grout. Our shower looks completely like tile, but without the grout! Our shower will continue to look like new for years to come! I feel like I'm showering at a resort or spa every morning.

The employee was timely and professional in gutting the flooring, bathroom floor and wall tile, as well as the cabinet and installing new floor tile, the Rebath wall system and the new cabinet. The job took two days to accomplish..

It went very smoothly from beginning to end. Eddie did a great job and was a pleasure. Everything was cleaned up daily (it was a three day job). I would definitely recommend this company. I am very pleased with the finished product.

It went great ! They showed up on time....Which for me is a big plus ! They had the bathroom done in one day and they cleaned up inside and out. The two men that came to house were very polite and informative, they did a great job turning my old gold and white tile bathroom that was extremely outdated, to a room I love !!

Re-bath did an excellent job. Workers did entire scope of work in 4 long work days. Showed up on time and were always very professional and courteous. They also were very tidy. Their work looks good and functions great. We are very pleased!

the first installer was very rude and unprofessional, left a number of things undone and wanted me to sign the papers and give him a check for the work, the shower leaked ,the sink leaked, the vanity was put in crooked and not even attached to the wall, the sink drain leaked, the new toilet is to close to the wall the top, doesn't fit right, was suppose to take one day turn in to over a week, the second installer came out and fix the problems , he was very professional, fix everything right , rebath uses a lot of caulk on the surround walls, not one piece, wish I would have got someone else to do the job. a lot money for surround walls you can buy at lowes or home depot. hope they honor the warranty ,we will see updating my review after posing my review here rebath call the next day , came out three more times to fix all problems. did stand behind there work even though we had so many problems, rebath did fix everthing, thanks Katie.

closet. Cindy was our consultant and she
insured that our project proceeded in a timely and
efficient manner. Cindy came to our home and spent several
hours helping us plan every detail - the styles,
materials, colors, fixtures, shower
doors, and any other aspect involved to ensure
everything would be
perfect. The specialists who did the
actual work were professional and courteous and
also a pleasure to work with. They tore
out the old tub and shower and installed the new

Scheduling was prompt; they were out within a few days. We discussed a bathroom remodel and they kind of drew it out while we were going through the consultation. It was not the type of work I wanted done so I went with a different provider for the remodel. However, they did an excellent job with the consultation.

I double-checked because when I saw the price you listed, it is far more than the cost of any of the work we do. Our cost for a bathroom remodel would generally average at more like $6,700 as opposed to $67,000. Also, we always create a contract including a 3 day right to resend before ordering materials or doing any kind of remodeling work. Please don't hesitate to call me with any questions."

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good work but I think we paid top dollar because of the way it was set up. I would recommend that you get a bid on in dealing with these contractors. The bid I got from them was sort of an open end thing. The job was done fast and good, but I think we overpaid. I have no criticisms about the work. It was how we paid for it. We should have signed a contract before we started it. Somehow we got the inspection and before we know, we were into it. I think we paid more than we should have. I will probably use them again but I would get a design contract first.

The woman who came was very helpful and efficient. However, she told us estimates like this were usually free, and that she could give us more off the purchase with some special deals she had. That made us a bit frustrated that we had spent $49 but, okay, whatever.
The quality of their products seemed very good. She was a very effective and knowledgeable sales-person, and very helpful. Not high pressure but not laid-back either.
We decided not to go with them because it is only a few thousand more to go with a full remodel, which is more desirable to us in this case. But if the price had been substantially lower, I think we would have been very happy with their products.

Salesman told us job would begin on a certain date and be finished on a certain date but job was delayed and took several weeks longer than promised so it ruined our holiday plans for entertains at our home. Also the salesman told us and showed us a video of a professional installer as opposed to a "joe blow " installer that their competitors send out-- well, we got the joe blow installer. He admitted that he didnt have as much experience as another installer and he stayed at our home until 10 pm each night. I thought maybe we had adopted him by signing the Re-Bath contract. Our tub pops when you are standing in it and we had them come back out to fix this. The owner even came out but it wasn't resolved. I told them that I was worried that the popping meant that the support under the tub was not sufficient and was told "don't worry, you have a lifetime warrantee". Well that really makes me feel better that when one of us falls through the floor they will redo the tub?!!? I wish we had only started one bathroom and then we would have never had the other one remodeled by Re-Bath. Oh and also, the salesman will ask to take your picture after you sign the contract - before the work is even begun so he can use your picture to show other potential clients his "happy" customers. The bathrooms do look pretty good however, it was a long grueling experience and we had to constantly monitor the installer because I think he was a little overwhelmed by the 2 bathroom job. We were told by the salesman that there would be 2 experienced installers on our job but that was not the case. We live outside the metro louisville area so maybe the experienced installers are doing the louisville jobs. Make sure everything that is promised by the salesman is on the contract like the start date, how many "experienced" installers, and when the date of finish will be. If any of these do not occur early on- cancel the job and call someone else. We got a quote from Tom Drexler that was $6000 more so that's why we chose Re-Bath. I guess you get what you pay for
