JW Winters & son Concrete and Foundation are the best. Let me start off by saying I myself own Mattingly Construction, a small but growing remodeling and construction company here in Louisville Ky and surrounding counties that is going on 5 years of rave reviews of business and a very strict perfectionist view on how work is done. I also would like to point out that I have been around construction my whole life and know when a job has been done right or when corners have been cut. When we first approached JW on looking at our faulty foundation we felt that we were being asked of our concerns and not just told with what "we needed to do." From day one the job was handled in the most respectful and professional way. Everything that JW and his crew said they were going to do, they did. I also feel that there were things they said they were going to do and not do because we would never have known because of the fact that we didn't live in the house at the time and only went out to "check up" on the job every couple of days. As someone who knows what to look for, I can be 100% sure that they performed everything they said they were going to do and everything that I asked. There were also a few extras that I requested they performed them as well. JW and his crew were very professional and not only did everything above and beyond my wants, they cleaned up the job site very well after the job had been completed. I would not hesitate to refer JW Winters and Sons in the future to anyone that I come across that asked me if I know of anyone doing this work (I have already referred one of my clients to them before the job was completed) or I will refer them to anyone needing this type of work on any of the jobs that my company Mattingly Construction has acquired . I also challenge anyone who is looking into having JW & Sons doing work for them to try and find a bad review anywhere including the internet. I could not find anything but positive reviews. I'm sure that being in business since the 60s JW has made a lot of happy clients and has learned that doing the job right in the beginning is the best way to do business. Having said that, I feel he has been doing it since day one! My wife and I would like to thank JW Winters & Sons for helping us start the total rebuilding of our dream and retirement home! We could not of asked for a better job or team to do it. Our hats are off to them.

They jacked up a garage foundation and repaired it. Everything went well thanks.

Called the company and scheduled the appointment. Nobody arrived during the 3 hours window, the responsible person never called and never even answered the phone or called back. When I called the office, never got a callback either. Completely unprofessional.

It was great. Mr. Winters and his crew were there when they said they would be and they finished on schedule.

Did a great job. JW and John junior had no problem coming back to follow up on a concern. No problems and no extra charge,

They started sooner then anticipated. I didn't have all my stuff out of the way so they even helped me move it without additional expense. They showed up every day at 9 AM and quit at 3PM; you could set your watch by it. Kept me informed daily about everything they were doing and answered any questions I had. They took no shortcuts and their work was impeccable. During the repairs we suffered a terrible ice storm, they worked up until the point we lost power. After a week when power was finally restored, they started right back up and finished the work. After they finished everything looked new and all traces of construction were gone. If it had not been for the ice storm they would have finished ahead of schedule. As it was I was impressed with how they could pick back up in the middle of the project and finish with such stellar results. These guys were great!
