lleI met Julie Pogue socially and asked her to help one of my Assistant Professors at the University of Louisville sell her house. My colleague was moving out of state. Julie responded immediately and the house was sold in one week - cash and very close to the asking price. Needless to say, my colleague is thrilled, and I have decided to call on Julie anytime I hire new colleagues from out of town or when a current staff person needs help with real estate. It far surpassed my expectations. The homebuild year listed below is a guess. I did not have that information.

Julie was a professional from start to finish. We have worked with more than 12 different real estate agents over the past few years and most are NOT ones that I would use again or recommend. Julie is the exception. Julie did not push us but rather allowed us to evaluate all of our options. She was very knowledgeable about the geographic area, the local real estate market, the schools, cultural offerings,, etc. She anticipated our needs sometimes before we even asked! When we expressed an interest in considering a rental home instead of buying, she was more than willing to help find the right house for us. ( Other so called professional agents we spoke with actually lied and said that rentals were impossible to find in Louisville) In the end, we did buy a home that Julie found for us. She really helped us all during the contract time from submitting the offer to arranging numerous small repairs that we wanted done before we moved in. Even after we moved in, she helped us network with other similar minded professionals to ease the transition from stranger to neighbor in this new city.
