Great job noticed a leak in kitchen sink, did not have new part , repaired basket strainer, also cleaned out bath pipe.

They were punctual and finished the install quickly. The two gentlemen who did the work were competent and answered my questions. I would definitely hire again for any general residential work.

I called and left a message at 6:30PM (they were closed for the day). I received a call back at 8:30 am the next day. They gave me a range of time that morning and I received a call when he was on his way. They fixed the broken pipe and found a hole further down the pipe that was hidden behind more drywall. They had the whole job completed in less than 2 hours. It looks great, works great, and should last another 50 years!

Our plumber that comes out, Steve, has done work for us for 15 years. i wouldn't have anyone else! Very responsive and reliable. Fair prices.

They were on time, professional, quick and courteous. Being that our situation was an emergency, they reacted quickly and had us back to a warm condo in under 4hrs. We were very thankful of their services and will definitely use them in the future and refer them to our friends.

BJ came out quickly to bid the job. He gave me the best bid. His guys was great. They were nice and very efficient. They arrived when they said they would and were communicative with me throughout the job. I would recommend them and have already had them bid another job for me.

I had called because the water company told me I had a leak. I am on a huge piece of land and alone. I could not even begin to locate what the water company was talking about and I tried walking this long water line with no success. When I called the Tom McVey company the service man actually dug in an area that appeared to be involved and found nothing. After searching the line with no results, he recommended an air pressure company which eventually solved the problem. Just nice, very helpful people.

We have used their service for years. I like their prices and responsiveness. They are a trustworthy and reliable company.

They are very professional and always get to you in a timely manner. As I stated above they have done all the plumbing on our 87 year old house. We had a new kitchen renovation and they did an awesome job. We are in the process of adding a new bathroom and B.J. and his crew have done and are still in the process of plumbing this for us. We would not use any one else but McVey Plumbing.

I had bought a home that I needed a plumber to come in and make a few small repairs as well as give me a thumbs up on over all condition. John showed up and let me know everything I asked as well as gave suggestions on other things. My leak was a quick fix and he went above and beyond on other plumbing that I didnt even think to check. John is very prompt and professional as well as personable. He is the last of the few great plumbers out there. I have always asked a family member for references or referrals. The one time I didnt ask family, I asked a close friend, she referred John McVey and once I made the call I found out he has been servicing my family for over 20 years with excellent service. (I have learned to ask family first now). I really wish ALL home service companies were as great as John McVey. HIGHLY recommended!

He has done complicated work. He is excellent for general plumbing. His pricing is extremely reasonable. I recommended him to one of the friends of mine. He charged my friend one third of what others charged my friend to install the water heater. He provides an excellent service. He is the one who told me that he doesn't get into a sewer line under the basement and doesn't get into the big stuff where he has to dig up the yard.

The quote was very close to what was provided to us over the phone. He was very friendly and prompt. I also liked that he gave us a scratch off lottery ticket when he left. It was a unique touch.

They are good. They would fix it quickly. If it is an emergency, they will get us in ASAP.

I have used him for years. He is very responsive. The plumbers that he sends out are helpful and they really educate you. They give you do-it-yourself hints for jobs like that. We have used him for 20 years now. He has done great big jobs for me and he has put a waterline in the front yard for me. His pricing is good. He is professional and friendly. He does the job very quickly.

Our biggest job, which was the bathroom remodel, went great. John came in significantly less than the two other quotes we'd had and came highly recommend from our neighbor - I'm glad we took her advice. Seeing the bathroom for the first time with all our new fixtures was very exciting. We installed a claw foot tub which had a pretty complex faucet and it looks so great - they did such a good job. When they had to fix our leak coming from the kitchen - apparently he had to pull out our entire lower cabinets and I could barely tell with the exception of the smallest paint chip only noticable when you open one of the cabinet doors. They are also very honest. Neither of us could find my receipt from my downpayment on the bath remodel (70% down). When we were all done he sent me a final bill and said that if I found my original receipt and that I paid more then we thought to let him know. I finally found the receipt and I'd overpaid by $100 and he had a check to me by the end of the week!

This was the 3rd time that I have had McVey plumbing do a great job. Each time they have been quick to respond, pleasant to work with, and got the job done in a timely fashion. When, after the job was finished, a problem showed up, McVey Plumbing came back and made it right. I am happy to recommend John McVey to others.

McVey Plumbing came right out when I told them that water was coming out from under the kitchen sink. I thought I was in for a big bill but they discovered that it was just a couple of loose fittings and all it needed was tightened. While they were here, they also checked the bathroom sink and drain and tightened that as well. I am so glad I called them they really saved the day.
