The only problem I am having right now is trying to leave a review, Idid have a wonderful experience with Jarboe's. I have to give a shout out for Chuck Brown wonderful both professional and personal at the same time. He listened to concerns, answered all questions while me watching him work which is unusual with most repair technicians. I will be recommending Jarboe's for any plumbing issues .

Do yourself a favor and pretend this company doesn’t exist! Jarboes is a marketing company that pretends to be plumbers. Their technicians are sales people and they will con you in to paying WAY more for a simple service call than you need. Don’t believe me? Read below. I called to have my two showers snaked and they sent a novice drain tech, Bradley Hudson, who openly admitted that he was new and didn’t know much about plumbing. Bradley then proceeded to break his snake off in my line rendering both of our showers completely unusable. Then, their sewer “expert” Jeremie Johnson came out to inspect the issue and had to explain to the drain tech, Bradley, how plumbing pipes work. He pointed out the area in the ceiling where he thought the second floor pipes were located and was wrong by over 10 feet. The area he indicated didn’t even have a second floor above as it was an extension to the garage… After his teaching lesson he quoted me $2,500 to retrieve their snake. He even had the nerve to offer me 15 year 10.99% financing. The sad thing is they probably take advantage of people with this all the time. I called customer service and spoke with Joy who told me that because it was their fault they would cover the cost and make it right. She assured me it would be taken care of and even quoted that she’s on a recorded line saying so. After 3 days with no showers, I was finally contacted by a supervisor, Andrew Young, who said they can’t honor Joy’s verbal agreement to resolve the issue because she didn’t have the authority to make that decision. He said that by signing their waiver I agree to pay for any damages that THEY caused. Andrew was extremely unprofessional and even threatened to take me to court over this issue. After calling back to customer service, they said they can have Andrew’s supervisor contact me when she returns back to the office which was six days after they broke my shower. On day six, their Client Assurance Manager, Tina DuShane, reached out to me and was the most unprofessional associate at Jarboes that I had to deal with. This may explain why their customer service abilities are non-existent. Tina told me it was my fault that I opted for their $93 promotion to unclog any drain or it’s free. She said, and I quote, “You wanted cheap and it sounds like you got what you paid for”. I was floored. That is the head of their customer service department telling me that their technicians are not skilled and it was my fault for calling a cheap plumber. I still can’t believe it as I type this and it’s amazing to me that she is even allowed to hold a position at any company with that mentality. After going back and forth with Tina, she offered to split the cost with me. What a bargain!? Over a thousand dollars to fix their known mistake… I told them to kick rocks and hired a real plumber who was able to resolve the issue in under an hour for less than $200. Jarboes is a corporate scam. They will lie, up-sell, and try to rob you blind with their 15 year financing. At no point should you ever consider using this company and their President, Greg Wells, should be ashamed to have his name attached to any of the aforementioned associates that he has representing their brand.

Very poor explanation of services and poorly presented in the initial proposal . In fact , no breakdown of cost for labor/parts/services , all lumped into a single price . Then they tell you that they are giving u a 30% discount, which is based on inflated pricing . I would not buy another HVAC unit unless I had 3 bids and they would not be included .

Someone came to see why my central heat wasn’t working and give a quote. I got no answer. I was told it may be several things they weren’t sure. Basically, I paid for nothing.

They were great and professional. They were thorough and quick.

i do not recommend this company at all. they came out to service my furnace and air conditioner for their maintenance plan. first thing, when they came out to do the tune up on my furnace, i specifically asked them, does it need to be cleaned? the guy said no it looks good. which later was determined to be a lie, otherwise he didnt even check. i had another company come out, check it over, and said oh yeah, it needed to be cleaned, it had about a years worth of dust on the inside. second thing, they came out to do the air conditioner tune up. everything was fine until a few days later when my air conditioner started making noises like it was frozen. i turned it off, then a few hours later, i attempted to turn it back on. it wouldnt come on. i called jarboes and told them tge issue, had them check it over, and they said the compressor was bad and said it would cost me 2600 to fix it. i dont have that kinda cash laying around so i asked my dad if that sounded right, he said no, but his company will do a second opinion for free. his company comes out, takes one look at the air conditioners compressor and tells us that jarboes had switched the wires, causing the polarities to switch, causing it to not work right. he switched the wires, and the air came back on correctly. air has been working fine until today. the compressor now is working double time to work, since jarboes had messed it up. now jarboes is refusing to fix my compressor, which they broke.

Warning if you are thinking about buying from Jarboe's heating and cooling do NOT. They give the worst service I have ever experienced. I bought an air conditioner from them last year. It has since stopped working. I have called several times. The first appointment I set the people did not even show up. They finally sent someone days later and I was told they could not help me fix it. They said they would be back and that was over a month ago! I keep trying to call customer service and they wont let me speak to a manager. This is ridiculous! I highly recommend using someone else. Update: I have spoken to Nathan Williams and his response is they will be able to service the air conditions on June 25. This will be 2 MONTHS after I made the first call. This is unacceptable since they have told me on multiple occasions that they would be coming out to my home today. They have the nerve to tell me I agreed to the June 25th date which is not true! I have moved my work schedule around in order to be home for the service. The heat index is increasing and now it is becoming unbearable. Update: I have a dispute that I opened with the better business bureau I cannot wait to get this resolved. They took $500 from me for a service agreement and they have not been to my house one time. We have scheduled three different appointments and they did not show up any of those times. I've dealt with their customer service Nathan Williams and he kept telling me they always do the right thing yet never came out within three phone calls and always had excuses each time. I called Maeser Plumbing and heat and air they were out the very next night and fixed everything. If you had the same experience with them you can call the BBB at 502-583-6546 New Update: it is 9/9/2020 and I have yet to receive my $500 refund. This is ridiculous! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional business in my life.

Guys were very friendly, professional and quick

They have been very good and we are very happy with them. We would recommend them.

Jarboe has done work for me in the past, and I have always been very satisfied with the results. The people are always professional and friendly, and I feel as if I can trust what they are telling me, hence why I continue to engage their services each time. This particular time was for a shower faucet replacement. Chuck Brown was my Technician. He was very professional and informed me of all the necessary details along the way. He even made a recommendation for tile work that needed to be done. With the Coronavirus situation that we all are experiencing right now, it is good to know that we have dependable and trustworthy vendors such as Jarboe to call when we have an emergency. Thanks Jarboe team...keep up the great work!

My daughter hired Jarboe for pipe repair - They MADE a mistake and caused a leak in the hot water line which was under her house. My daughter didn't realize something until her utilities bills were over 500 month. Electric water heater and LGE was over 700 a month. However they did put a drain in the wrong place,and cracked a toilet. (they fixed those) Jarboes admitted the mistake and put the pipes at the ceiling instead of tearing up the concrete floor again, and was determining if they would pay for her high utility bills. IN ADDITION THERE IS SEVERE MOLD GROWING UNDER THE HOUSE. She has not gotten an answer from them, and now they are hanging up on her when she calls and will not return emails. She has pictures, emails, etc and is taking that info to an attorney today. Sad they worn't even talk to her. PLEASE BE WARY.

I expected expensive repair for the issue. They we're flexible with options and friendly. Will likely contact them for full replacement in the future.

Overall Jarboes did a nice job. The two guys that came to the house were extremely nice and hardworking guys. They did exactly what they advertised - cleared a blocked main drain. They sent a camera down the pipe to show the roots causing the issue. My only concern with the visit is that, as expected, the $93 is a loss leader for them. The only solution to the root problem that they suggested was a total line replacement for $13,000. I asked about alternatives like some of the marketed chemicals and they said it will not work. I just feel it was somewhat incomplete advice. Many people have documented great success with copper sulfate as well as regular pipe cleanings. Sure - a new pipe will resolve the problem but I think you have to explore alternatives when the price for the perfect solution is so steep. My advice to Jarboe's - be more helpful to your customers and prove you are not just there to upsell to a Lexus solution. I would have spent the $350 for the pipe cleaning and even signed a service contract with you to do this every spring if you had just offered alternatives. Honesty and full disclosure will make you a better company.

Everything went as planned, except the system didn't qualify for the energy rebate that the salesman had indicated.

Scheduled for service a week in advance in New Albany, which they advertise that they service this area, took off of work. Received a call Friday after 6 that they could not keep appointment due to not being licensed in Indiana. Unable to get a replacement at such short notice, day of work lost.

I have attempted to use Jarboe's twice. The first time was for plumbing. After snaking our main sewage line, they brought in another individual to " look down the line with a camera". He felt/interacted with me more like a used car salesman than a professional. He attempted to show me on the camera how there were tree roots in my outside line and explain they needed to dig up my back yard and replace pipes.... For thousands of dollars. We passed on this service and apparently the snaking was sufficient because we haven't had a problem in two years. The second time my husband called them we needed a new a/c unit. After calling that morning to confirm they would show up, we never heard anything, they never showed and never called to reschedule.

I've used them for years and I've very satisfied with them. I've had no trouble with the service. They came close to when they said they'd come. I'd use them again. They are responsive to your call.

The men who installed the system were nice and friendly and got the job done. They worked the entire time. One would eat lunch while the other continued working and then they would switch.

Replaced whole home a/c unit and heat pump, including water and electrical work, in about 7 hours.

It was wonderful I could not have asked for better service, the technician was nothing but polite and respectful. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

The service person was very thorough and professional, and he worked quickly. I would hire again.

The price was good and the installation took one day.

I went through the AL book, and i saw an 80$ service call, he came out to put a shower head up, I had bought a shower head and all he had to do was install it. He didn't put the glue on the head like i asked him to, he said this other way was better. He then placed a little tube in the faucet. He charged me 375$ for that tiny service. The next day the shower fell off cause the glue wasn't strong enough and i had to put my own epoxy on. Couldn't use the shower for 2 days cause we had to let the glue dry. I had to pay him or give him 100$ for nothing. It was like blackmail. Buyer beware: do not call this provider

The technician explained everything he did in the process, even taking pictures and sharing with me. He thoroughly explained his recommendation for further maintenance and listed several options. He was very professional and pleasant. (Technician was John Christian.)

They damaged our bathtub and overcharged us. I would never never use them.
