Jan Scholtz and her buyer Chris and Sarah Pauline were utterly dishonest and deceitful in their Seller disclosure for 2011 Carabiner Way located in Louisville, Kentucky. There were a host of items that the seller and agent had personal knowledge of that were not disclosed, concealed and just outright fabricated, which is fraud. This was a complete waste time..money 💰 well wasted. Buyer please fear and beware!

My husband and I relocated to Louisville in the fall of 2008. The relocation office at my new employer suggested Jan Scholtz Realtors, and we contacted Jan Scholtz when we were ready to begin looking at houses with a list of 10 or so properties that had caught our interest. We scheduled a Saturday to look at houses. We had such a wonderful experience that day, and I cannot imagine working with a better Realtor. Jan was pleasant, patient with first time home buyers, and knowledgeable about the housing market in general as well as our neighborhood of interest, the Highlands. She was very detailed oriented and was able to identify issues or potential problems with the properties we looked at that we had not noticed. After viewing all of the houses on our list, we put in an offer on the very first house we viewed that day. Being first time homeowners, my husband and I did not know what to expect during the contract process. Jan was helpful at every step, explaining to us what to anticipate and providing guidance where needed. She and I often communicated by phone several times a day, and she always answered our many, many questions. We went through several rounds of negotiations with the seller, and Jan s experience was invaluable. My husband and I always felt as if she was looking out for our interests and that we were getting the best deal possible on our new home. Jan also suggested a great home inspector and loan officer, both of which we used with good results. We closed on our new home less than thirty days after making an offer and exactly three months after I began my new job. Our relocation to Louisville and experience buying our first home was fantastic, largely because of Jan Scholtz and Jan Scholtz Realtors. I would highly recommend Jan to anyone buying a home and will use Jan for all of our real estate needs.

She emailed me weekly to check on our progress, to offer assistance and to let us know about community events. We truly felt like we had a friend helping us relocate. When we were ready to start looking at houses, Andrea helped us compile a list of properties and scheduled a day to view the properties with her mother-in-law, Jan Scholtz. After we put in an offer on a house, both Andrea and Jan were very helpful during the contact process. Jan handled most of the work but Andrea was also readily available for questions and concerns. There was never a time when I couldn't get in to contact with Andrea or Jan. Andrea went with us to our final walk through and was present with Jan at closing. Our relocation to Louisville and experience buying our first home was fantastic, largely because of Andrea Scholtz and Jan Scholtz Realtors. I would highly recommend Andrea and Jan Scholtz Realtors to anyone buying a home and will use them for all of our real estate needs.
