Invisible Fence of Greater Louisville

I would give them 0 stars if I could for the experience I just had. They claim their equipment is “accurate and reliable” and that “Invisible Fence® Brand's priority is your pet's safety,” but apparently that’s not true. I’ve had Invisible Fence for over 40 years and prior to today I would’ve recommended them to anyone. I recently started having trouble with my dog’s collar shocking her when she’s nowhere near the fence. She shakes and pees and thinks she’s being punished - it breaks my heart. She’s now terrified of the car, certain rooms in the house and her Invisible Fence collar. I called the company about it and to say they were unhelpful is an understatement. The man I spoke with didn’t seem concerned at all and said all they could do is come out and look at the system - for $185! I’d understand a charge if I had damaged the equipment or wanted to change something, but he was saying I had to pay $185 for them to come look at their malfunctioning equipment, which had hurt my dog (twice)! And that was just for the service call - parts and labor would cost me extra. He said they could not waive the fee, no matter the situation. I have never had such poor (and unreasonable) customer service from them. It’s disappointing and a shame that this is how they’ve decided to treat their customers. I don’t normally write bad reviews, but their lack of personal care, inflexibility, and unwillingness to work with you on your specific issue - especially when it concerns your pet babies - is something I’d like to know if I was considering being a customer.

I ended up going with a competitor because of cost but I was super impressed with their sales staff. They were really knowledgeable about the product and the animals.

Our fence extends from the front side walk into the backyard.

They came on time to discuss the options. The technician came again on time, finished the installation and explained everything. The training was easy, the trainer kind and professional. Offered time which was convenient to us. Managed to teach the dog the boundaries in few meetings. The whole system changed our life as well as our dog's life.

Did great. only issue we have had is wire going across driveway getting cut (snow plow) and they came and fixed. our dog was prone to running away and has not since fence has been active.

Excellent. The technician called ahead and came on time. The work was done very efficiently.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Repairs worked well, they did a great job!

We used invisible fence to control our dog. They came out and gave us a evaluation of our needs. When that dog passed away we got another dog with different needs. The would not come out to do another evaluation. Even for a charge. They wanted us to decide what we wanted to change and just have a service guy cone out to redo fence for a very expensive per hour fee. Our needs we're not met at all. Different pets need different things. We did not have them come and decided on different way to train our dog. The invisible fence brand is now a waste of our money.

They installed the flags to show dogs boundaries and then were there for support whenever we needed them. The office staff is always courteous and friendly, we had a defective indoor unit and they had a new replacement out the next day. The trainer called to check on the dogs progress and even came back a forth time to make sure all was well, (we have an old dog who was testing the fence at every flag. ) I have owned other fences and this one is second to none. Our beagle who use to roam the neighborhood is now on our property and does not even attempt to get out. Our puppy was a lot easier to train and now I don't have to go outside with him or worry that he will wonder off and get lost. We don't have to think about batteries because they auto ship them to us. The collars are even able to get wet, so I know next summer they will be put to the test in our in ground pool. All in all it was a wonderful experience and well worth the money. I highly recommend this company to anyone with pets.

The job turned out great. They returned three times to help train the dog. I had heard good things about them in the neighborhood, so I looked at their reviews and had them out. I’d give them an A+ if I could.

The work turned out great. They spent some time training our dogs as well. That was very good and they were very understanding with dogs.

It went really well. We had a wonderful trainer, and the instillation was also great. We’ve had utilities companies break the line since then, and Invisible Fence promptly responded. It’s not necessarily same-day service, though (probably because they’re busy).

It’s worked out very well, and I’d recommend them to everyone. They’ve not had to come out to correct or adjust anything since then, so we’ve been really happy. The training sessions went really well and the trainer was exceptional.

I didn't have any trouble at all and they were wonderful to deal with. The installation went really well, and they came out again later to adjust the power (that our dog needed). They even trained the dog, and she was great with animals. I’d use them again if I ever needed it. Very flexible and fun people to deal with – even their salesmen! Hometown service.

We've got 8 dogs and they did a great job in training and setting everything up for them. We’ll have to have them back to make adjustments, since we’ve made changes since then, but otherwise it’s gone well.

The experience was pretty good. The installation went very well and it’s been easy to schedule them to do any maintenance required on it. They also came out to train our dog, and that’s been a good experience as well.

They’ve been friendly, personable, and on time. The trainer is particularly knowledgeable about dogs. We’re still in the process of training our dog (who has a history of jumping fences), so we’ll see if it passes the ultimate test. The price was a bargain compared to a wooden or aluminum fence. The crew has clearly been doing this for a while, and they know what they’re doing.

It was a wonderful experience! They came back here times to do training and do adjustments. That saved me quite a bit of time and money. They were very nice and cleaned up my yard well.

great. he has not tried once to leave, even when neighbors dogs come to visit. i am happy with the price, we have an acre to acre and a half fenced so he has plenty of running room. thought it would cost more than it did.

After they install the fence, they come out several times to work with the dogs. I like their level of customer service and my dog seems to be responding well to it.
