Hunter's Moving & Cleaning Service

I really thought that Lecole and Jackie of Hunter's Moving and Cleaning Service were going to move us with no issues. They originally quoted 400 and I told them that we would pay 500 to take down and set up all beds and clean. We in reality paid over $700 in total for a horrible move and service. We had to do the clean and set up all our beds and the move took over 24 hours to do. Almost every piece of furniture was knicked or scratched or damaged...They did not bring enough blankets to cover the furniture and used my silk curtains and my linens, which ended up ripped or with holes in them. One of my nightstands was dropped and completely damaged. The nightstand to replace would be $409. They are not insured or bonded, so we will never see that money unless we take them to court. They toured our house several times and knew exactly what needed to be moved and as professionals should know how long it will take to move it and have the right supplies to get the job done. They did not move all of our stuff in a timely manner and treated our things as if they had no value. They did not do what they promised they were going to do. We have hired movers before and they had enough help and were efficient and set up all our furniture with in 5 hours and nothing was damaged. I know have to take them to small claims court to try to get our money back!!! They blamed us that our things were not packed, which is a lie...they packed maybe 4 boxes and bubble wrapped pictures, which I did not ask for. They never cleaned. Lecole did work hard, but as a professional they should have known what it takes to move and to make sure that the job gets finished in a timely and efficient manner without damages! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
