Hovey Furniture Restorations

Mr. Hovey communicated all options with my furniture refinish. It was an antique oak table that had layers of paint on it. He not only picked it up but also delivered it by the date I requested. He is very detailed and put a beautiful finish on it after it was stripped and sanded and repaired the base as we requested and added casters. Additionally, he painted the four chairs and delivered them to the upholsterer so that we only had to pick them up there. He is very easy to work with and very proficient in his craft!

Brian did a great job on my bedroom furniture and in a timely manner. We are grateful to have found him for the job.

I have used Brian Hoveyâ s services on several occasions. He refinished a buffet for me along with giving professional advice and care for some of my other antique pieces of furniture. Along with refinishing furniture, he does a professional service of hanging pictures and shelves , anything you might need hung. He is always prompt and professional. Very professional and work is excellent

Mr Hovey has had 3 pieces of antique furniture for restoration after a house fire for over 2 years now and was paid in full by the insurance company. He has not returned our phone calls for the last 6 months and we have no idea where our furniture is. At this point we are going to have to pursue legal channels to get our furniture back. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable especially given the circumstances. We salvaged very few things from our fire which makes it even worse. I would definitely not recommend doing business with this company.

Very professional, well mannered, courteous; cannot say enough about this kind businessman.

I had an old oak coffee table that was in bad shape cosmetically. I kept it in the closet and used it to stack towels on and put my shoes under it. It was my husband's mother's table and he wanted to keep it. I decided to have it refinished and put it to use somewhere, maybe in the bedroom. Mr. Hovey contacted me within 20 minutes of my submission to Home Advisors, came to my house 30 minutes after that and left with my table. Within a week he had it back in my home, looking like a new table. It isn't in the bedroom, by the way. It turned out so pretty that we put it behind the love seat with a bouquet of flowers and a pretty wooden box on it. It is the first thing you see when you come in the front door!

Mr Hovey came to the house looked at the table gave me an estimate, took the table, did the repairs I requested,, repaired it and returned it. Was pleased with the service and quality of his work. Certainly would call him again if I work done.
