It went very well. I though the provider was fair and reasonable. I would use him again.

It went very well! We found Horizon Electric a couple of months before this when a contractor working for LG&E accidentally cut through some wiring in our cellar when moving the gas meter from the cellar to the front of the house. I was looking for a 24 hour electrician and found Horizon. Turns out, this small business doesn't charge extra for working nights and weekends. The owner, Josh Spencer, came to our house that night to see what had happened - without charging a penny! Then he came the next day to fix it. He doesn't charge for service calls - only for labor. So the total cost for repairing the cut wires was about $70. He knew this was something LG&E would need to pay for; he could have pulled the wool over our eyes knowing in the end it wouldn't hurt our pocket book. I was impressed with his conscientiousness, professionalism, responsiveness and honesty.
We contacted Horizon again to install the motion-detector flood light in our backyard. Josh came and did the job in about 90 minutes. Of the $161.39 for this job, $97.50 was the cost for his labor and the rest of the cost was for the bulbs, the motion detector, PVC tubing, spray paint to paint the PVC tube and a few other items. Josh Spencer is a licensed, insured master electrician. He provides free estimates. He's very professional! We are about to use his services again to add a circuit and electrical outlet to our cellar.
