Honey Crenshaw

We have used Honey Crenshaw twice to help us purchase a property. The first experience, while purchasing a home, was excellent so we decided to enlist her services on the purchase of a condo as well. Honey is very professional and has fantastic communication and follow-up. We always knew where we were in the process and she was great at making sure all related parties did their jobs. Honey was very patient in searching for appropriate properties to view, and while visiting the properties, and has very good knowledge of the Louisville home market. We were able to narrow down our choices and find the right property very quickly. We also found out during our first experience with Honey that she stays in touch after the sale to make sure things are going well with the move-in and whether we had experienced any unusual issues. She shows up on time (usually quite early) and if she was going to be late for an appointment, which was very rare, she always let us know in plenty of time, before we even left for the appointment ourselves. Honey is very personable, upbeat, and a pleasure to work with.

I contacted Honey Crenshaw after I saw that she was highly rated on Angie's List. I inquired about a rental property that I found on her website, Honey told me that it was only for sale, which is not what her website stated. When I pointed out that the property was listed under leasing and rentals, and that it stated at the bottom of the description to inquire about possible leasing options. She seemed dumbfounded and skeptical about this, she said that she would inquire and call me back but she never contacted me as promised.

We were so fortunate to have chosen Mrs. Crenshaw as our realtor. She was very knowledgeble of the various communities in metro Louisville. She was professional, courteous, persistent, calm, and always worked hard for us. She negotiated our offers and counter-offers effectively and was firm in negotiating needed repairs that were found from the home inspections we had done with every offer. She is a kind, dedicated, hard worker, and always available for advice. She even changed a family event to meet with us during the closing. We now live in the house she helped us find and are grateful for her advice and expertise. You can't go wrong with Honey.

Honey was AMAZING! We had never bought a house before (even though we had bought a farm and built a house on it), and Honey made the process easy for us. She is 100% class and professionalism. Being new to the process, we asked a lot of questions, which she promptly answered with a lot of patience (believe me we asked some SILLY questions!). We are keeping our farm, so we were looking for a small, inexpensive condo, but we wanted it in a safe neighborhood, where property values are holding up, she took on the challenge of helping us find such a place, and her knowledge of the different neighborhoods was invaluable in saving us a lot of time. We ended up spending less than $60K but Honey worked as if it had been a half a million dollar sale. We recommend Honey Crenshaw wholeheartedly and she will be our real estate agent when we decide to sell our farm.

From the start Honey was there. She came in to our home and made it more "buyer friendly" she had us remove some clutter from the house, and clean up the yard a bit (cut some hedges and move my trash cans to a new location). She raised the price of our house a bit (the other Realtor kept asking us to drop the price saying that is why nobody was making an offer) Which worked out in the end because we got our full asking price. After her initial visits she kept in contact with us via phone and email. She would convey back to us what other Realtors were saying about the house, and she sent us weekly reports on how the internet marketing was going. (it was amazing she had us listed on so many different sites and even marketed our house on her blog) Plus, she took lots of pictures at least 10 more than my other Realtor she told me the more pictures the better. My wife was really stressed out, and nervous that our house would not sell and we would be stuck with two mortgages, but Honey was always good at raising her spirits and assuring her that we would get an offer, and boy was she right. What I am trying to say is she was attentive to our needs beyond just sticking a sign in our yard she was with us every step of the way. After the closing she even took us to lunch to congratulate us on the sell of our home, and she still calls every once in awhile to check in on us, and ask if we are still loving our new house. I don't know what kind of magic she has but she was able to do in 3 weeks what our Realtor of 6 months could not. And Again my wife and I would very much recommend her.
