They were experts and did a fantastic job; on time; pleasant; clean; professional; everything you would want.

Had a quote for waterproofing a basement wall in my 55 year old house after a disappointing experience with similar work done by another company on a different wall. The quote was no pressure, and was a more reasonable price per linear foot than the work that had been done by the other company. I scheduled, and the workers that came to do the job were much more careful about the dust and mess. Everything was done as I was told it would be, and we've had several storms since completion without a drop of water where the work was done. I definitely will use Highland Waterproofing for the remaining wall of the basement should it become a problem down the road.

It went better than expected. I had moved everything except larger items (because I didn't know where they would be out of the way). I had hung heavy drop cloths from ceiling rafters. I also encased the air vent covers throughout the house with pillowcases to help capture some of the possible dust. There was some dust, but minimal (so far). The crew that worked (from two to five at times) were prompt, very professional, polite and more than willing to answer any questions I had.

The provider did not try to sell me a service he determined I did not need. His honesty and helpfulness is much appreciated.

I could not be more pleased with Highland Basement Waterproofing. The leak was controlled by sealing the wall, installing a floor drain and finally connecting the drain to a sump pump. It has now been over 3 months and many heavy rains since the work was done and not a drop of water!

Their office person was very good. They came out and gave an estimate and were knowledgeable.The work was done well.I would use them again. .

I called the Highland Waterproofing company requesting an estimate for water leakage in my basement wall. I made an appointment and 'Mike' came out, explained the problem, what was needed to fix the problem and gave me an estimate. Please keep in mind that I purchased this home in Lagrange KY in 2010 and moisture problems were covered up by drywall and some sort of epoxy. My basement flooded for other reasons but now I could see with my own eyes that the builder of this house performed very poor work in the basement walls and tried to hide his shoddy work with epoxy and drywall. The HIghland crew arrived on time, broke down the moisture section of the wall down through the cement floor (approx. 8x9 section), replaced a section of the wall, sealed the problem wall as explained, built up the 'under floor' below the wall and masoned new cement over the floor that was repaired. I received a 'Lifetime Warranty' in the mail to ensure that I am dealing with a professional company. In summary: Moisture problem(s) in a basement can lead to very serious problems if not corrected right away (more water leading to mold, mildew and flooding). A home owner wants to know the company hired is thorough, professional and honest and will fix the problem permanently (if possible). I am so very thankful to God for giving me Angie's List to find Mike and the Highland Basement Waterproofing Company that confirm we still have family company's that are professionals that care about honesty and integrity. Superior Service and I will pass onto my neighbors. Oh yes, be very careful if you purchase a home in Lagrange, KY and ensure you have the 'best' inspector to help avoid nightmares such as this.

The guys were on time, nice and very careful about taking the paneling down in my basement. A plastic curtain was put up to keep the dust down. They worked a long day jacking up the concrete that was all neatly put in MANY buckets and removed, one by one, out the basement window, rather than carried upstairs across the floor and out the front door. Two more guys came to help carry the buckets and finish the job. The pipe and gravel were put in and the concrete was put over them smoothly. The tile on the floor was neatly removed leaving an even line, rather than a jagged line on the tiles, which will be easily replaced. The basement was left neat and clean and after the deluge we had 2 nights ago, it is working great! They did exactly what was promised, by Mike Meyer, and it is a neat, professional job that I am so relieved to have completed. I am glad Angie's List had the coupon that helped me decide to choose Highland Basement Waterproofing. Good decision.

the only problem I had was, I had to call for my report but everthing was good.

I purchased an offer to repair a leak in my 81 yr. old fathers basement for him. I, nor he, believed the price quoted from Highland would be anywhere near the price he wanted to pay . The representatives were courteous and explained that their method of diversion and its cost. My father, however, just thought a "patch job" would suffice. The rep. said that was not an option due to warranty issues.

The crew was very conscientious and thorough, actually except for the jack hammering, they were very quiet and respectful. They hauled away all the materials from the walls and floor after the job was completed. The job was completed in the amount of time they said it would take.

They came out in December to give me a price quote and detailed what they would be doing at the time. With this last rain I decided to revisit Angies List and look over what other members had to said about Highland and their work, they where all positive. I called them, they were busy but would work me in. She called a few days later and said they would be out shortly and that the job would probabily take a couple of hours. They arrived at the time they said they would and were very cordial to me and my dog Stella. I thought that I would have to clean up after them (as I've had to do with others), but except for the occassional noise of the tools I never knew they were here and everything was cleaned up and done in the time frame quoted. At the end of the work I asked them a few questions and they was more than happy to answer them. I had a sense of relief when they left knowing that the job was done and done right.

I used to have water on the basement floor whenever there was a significant rain. I have not had one drop of water on the floor since December 11, 2013 when Highland Waterproofing finished the job. They were great to work with from start to finish - very professional and left my basement clean as well as dry. I wish I had done this 4 years ago. I chose them because of the good reviews on Angies List and because when they came to quote the job they showed me a list of other customers in my zip code. I knew several of them and called for references. I heard only good things. Now I have only good things to say. I waited for several months to write the review to be sure the basement remained dry. Throughout this very wet winter, my floor has not even been damp. This is a local company and a great one. I recommend them highly.

The work was done more than 10 years ago and we've had no leaks in those paces since. I do not remember the price for that job. The owner was very responsive and in all the cases offered his suggestion to solve the problems. The work was done timely and the premises were left very neat. Should we have a water problem in the future we'll definitely call and use this company.

The service was good. We decided not to go with him. The inspection went well. They seemed communicative, the guy seemed very knowledgeable, and he was also very honest.

I showed him the crack in the wall where the water leaks in. He told me I needed a sump installed ($1000+). He said he could not offer any other alternatives (like patching/filling/sealing the crack) since they offer a lifetime guarantee for their work and that would not be a lifetime fix. So basically I paid $50 for him to try to sell me a sump. He was very professional. If I need a sump I'd probably go back to them, but it just seemed to me to be a misleading offer. There was no $300 worth of waterproofing unless I decided to buy a $1000 sump.

They were outstanding and we will use them again in a heartbeat. I’m happy to give them a good rating. They did the work in one day. The price was extremely reasonable for what they had to do. They cleaned after they did the work. They were very courteous and knowledgeable.

Contractor was right on time and very knowledgeable, quickly identifying the source of the issues and thoroughly and patiently explaining his findings to my girlfriend and I. Turns out it was a lot easier and cheaper to fix than we had feared, and the contractor even told us what work we could do ourselves easily to save a signifcant amount and bring the cost down even further (and explained how to do it)! I would definitely recommend him to friends.

They were great. It worked out wonderfully. Everything they did for me was an A.

They did a great job and luckily we did not have to do anything with our basement. The basement had a leak due to our chimney and I appreciated his honesty. They did not try to sell unneeded services.

Austin came to inspect and give an estimate and was very precise in identifying the source of the leak (behind the dry wall) and gave fair estimate. The crew came on time, was very courteous and completed the work as expected. During the process we lost power, and they were able to reschedule at our convenience to complete the work. Very satisfied with the job done.

They did a really nice job. They got here quickly and the workers were excellent. They did a great job and I felt very comfortable with them. The big deal was for them to do a drawing. Then I hired them to fix the problem. I was very pleased with them and it would have been nice if the owner had come out and taken a look at another crack. It was all good. I would use them again.
