called the company about basement leak!!! mike meyer came out on july 15th & went over the estimate . he stated it might be 6 weeks before they could start working on the basement due to work load. but they started in about 15 days due to cancellation!!! we were happy with the service & price!!!

They got here on Monday at 9am finished on Tuesday at 4pm, they were always punctual and curtious, above all we were full of questions the whole time and they were there with all the answer. The crew was very polite, professional, and above all very knowledgeable. I commend Highland on their fine crew, it is obvious that they train them with the utmost of importance. I will defenitely use Highland again if the need arrises, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall the experience went well. Arrived on time for estimate. Arrived on time and completed work in scheduled time. Thorough cleanup, courteous service. I will recommend and use again when needed.

The property was vacant for several months before we purchased it. After purchasing the property and learning of the lifetime warrany offered by Highland, I called them. Phone call was not returned until I called again and complained. "Mike" called me and after letting him know the address of the property (which he knew very well) he immediately started explaining why warranty may not apply. Several excuses given to "prepare" me for this. Never the less I asked him to come and look at the situation. In the meantime I interviewed several waterproofing companies and each of them pretty consistently explained why the current system was not working (due to workmanship, shortcuts, etc. ) Based on the poor job done in the past, and the conversation I had with Mike on the phone - I cancelled my appt with him. Just not worth the headache and hassle of dealing with them. I will instead be using a different company and pay to have the job done correctly.

These guys were quick and honest. They did the job with as little mess as plausible. They could have made more money by trenching a tile drain all the way across my basement but found a way to make it work and make it affordable.

They did a terrific job! We haven't had any problems with the leaks since. This was a large, ongoing problem, so I really appropriated the quality of work they performed. They also charged a reasonable rate compared to the other estimates we received. I would highly recommend them.

They came out within 48 hours after I called to give an estimate. They were willing to meet me late in the afternoon after work. They were professional. They came on time and did their work. They were very thorough and did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves too. We have not had any sewage in the area where there was a crack in the foundation since.

The crew of three was almost 3 hrs late to the job due apparently to some internal confusion. The job went quickly about 4 hrs. The ony complait besides the lack in punctuality was that an outlet box was pulled off the wall in order to install their membrane. The wall was damaged during this process and the guys did not repair it while they were there. When I told Mike about this later he did offer to repair however I had already taken care of this in order to allow painters to work.

took 2-3 weeks to get into the schedule, but that was acceptable. Arrived right on time. Completed work in a couple of hours. Repair seems to have been successful, as we have already had some heavy rains since then.

The office staff, salesman, and work crew were all very professional and prompt. The work plan was more sensible than other bids I obtained, and the price was cheaper, too. The waterproofing carries a lifetime warranty.

My husband was the one who met with the salesman for the estimate but said he was very friendly, informative and took the time to explain everything. He also pulled back our carpet to check the extent of the water damage - which the other company (WAY more expensive) had not done so I thought that was a good sign. He gave us our options and explained that we really didn't need to do the more expensive option which I appreciated. The actual work took a couple days if I remember correctly (unfortunately I took too long waiting until I wrote this review) but the guys were here just to do their work. I didn't feel like they were taking a ton of breaks or anything. The jackhammers were super loud so I tried to stay out of the house for that part. I work out of the house primarily so when I had a conference call I would tell them and they'd either wait to get the loud stuff done or do it before my call - which was greatly appreciated. They also showed me the work when it was finished, talked to me about the sump pump and the warranty, etc. I felt very comfortable with the whole process.

Called them on Thursday, and they sent a rep to check out the situation on Saturday. The rep was as NICE a guy as you get. He called before hand to make sure I was there and was respectful, thorough, and Nice! The crew came the following Monday, patched the crack and made drainage through the floor to the sub-basement drainage. It took about an hour.

My initial impression was excellent. The estimate and description of work was more thorough than others I rec'd and in the same ballpark financially. We agreed on a date, was told crew would be here by 7:30am and would take a day. I arranged my day so I would be home. After patiently waiting, I finally called the company at 9:30 and was told a previous job took longer than expected, but the crew would be here in the afternoon. At 5:30pm this poor soul rang my doorbell. After getting an earful, I told him he wasn't going to start this late in the day. The salesman/owner called later that evening and spoke with my husband. My husband agreed to have them do the work. He told my husband they would call the next day with estimated time of arrival. We never got a call. I called later that day and canceled the job. Very unprofessional behavior, a phone call or two just to update us could have prevented the cancellation and a waste of our time.

We felt very good about the price and expertise, and Highland did a good job of explaining the cost and scheduling the work in a prompt manner. The folks who did the work were clean and courteous.

The estimate we received from Highland was the most reasonable of the other six we had gotten (one was $13,000 more!). They started the job on time and finished the job exactly in the time frame they said they would. Very professional. We have since finished our basement and have had NO problems.

On two occasions I called Highland Waterproofing, both leaks were on the same wall and one was twice the size of the other and they just patched those spots. My basement has always been dry and never waterproofed before. The first time it was $400, and the second time it was $800.00 and it has not leaked since. I have no idea what they patched it with; total time for both jobs was about three hours more or less.

I'm satisfied. I feel he's very honest. I would recommend him for anybody. Very nice.
