Fresh Colors Painting

Painted whole house. Took about a week. Did a good job. Would hire again.

This is the second time Fresh Colors has completed interior painting for us. Their work is excellent (again!)

They did a great job. Our painter (Steve) did an exceptional job. A true professional painter who really knows what he is doing and cares about quality work. Gary is very easy to work with as well. Very professional and detail oriented. We are happy with our decision to hire True Colors Painting and will hire them in the future. We recommend them to all of our friends and family.

Gary was very prompt in both scheduling an estimate as well as a date to paint my apartment. His painter, Steve, did a remarkable job in painting my place! All of the edging was perfect and the former color was completely covered. Gary and Steve were extremely friendly and professional and my place was beautiful upon my return. I have worked with many painters and must say that Fresh Colors Painting is by far the best contractor I have ever used in Louisville! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best :)

I bought a living social coupon for exterior window cleaning. When I called and gave them details they told me the additional charges. I was unhappy with the company and they were being nit-picky. They increased the price from $30 to over $300.

Fresh Colors employee to strip wallpaper in master bath was here most of the day using a steamer to remove wallpaper; pieces at a time. The residual wallpaper paste remained on the wall. I guess I was wrong in thinking that we were ready to paint once the wallpaper came off. Still a big job ahead for a painter. Overall, work went fine.

Fantastic!! Gary is extremely professional and customer driven. My experience was exceptional. Steve arrived right on time, and did a wonderful job, very detailed and clean. So happy to have hired Fresh Colors Painting. Thank you for making my house smile again. Looking forward to hiring again for my deck staining.

The job was much bigger than the initial Angie's List offering. It took a very long time but Steve the painter stayed with it and did a terrific job. I also had him paint. It looks wonderful. I am very pleased.

Didn't get finished in allotted time but did good job on what he did and gave me some really good tips on finishing it!

This is the third time we have hired back Gary and his team to paint in our home. They have now almost painted our entire house for us in the past 3 jobs. This time, they painted our walk out basement main living area space. Again, we could not be more pleased with the work. Gary is prompt with his communication and he is personally very involved throughout the entire painting process. Gary and his team are very professional, trustworthy & particular in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone - you will most likely not find a better painting service in this area!

Gary arrived, educated me to paint quality, colors and literally everything I needed to know about the variation of paints. The future day arrived for the paint crew. They were on time. The senior man 'Steve' asked me questions as to any minor repairs and explained to me everything the two of them were going to do to include minor drywall repairs. They placed booties on their shoes when they came into my house and all the cloths and protection needed to ensure no paint would be spilled on my tiled floors. They painted almost the entire basement to include baseboards. When they were finished, they cleaned up any debris and sealed the two remaining paint cans. Steve gave me instructions as to the drying time and the importance of the numbers on the paint cans for future paint job touch-ups (if needed). Summary: The entire basement is beautifully color coordinated and looks nicer now than when I moved here in 2010. Superior painting business deserving of a triple A rating. The painter did a very neat job but in my mind was extremely slow costing me extra dollars for work that I thought would have been covered in the allotted time. Where I thought the wood should have had two coats, I had to ask for it to be done. Perhaps I expected too much since we often did our own work.

We used Fresh Colors Painting last summer and had such a good experience, we decided to use them again. We had them paint a bedroom while we were away on vacation. It looks great and fresh and new when we returned.

Courteous, prompt, and EXTREMELY professional craftsmen! They care about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their clients---the sort of people you can hire and leave alone and know that the job will be done better than you'd hoped or imagined!

Due to rainy weather this project stretched out a little longer than I had planned for, but I am very happy with the result and will definitely use Fresh Colors again in the future. Both the owner, Gary, and the person performing the work, were very pleasant to work with. I thought the price was a little high, but they were very thorough and careful in their work,

Great job, very professional

They did a fine job and were very professional. The primary problem was that I did not really need them. They went out of their way to do anything they could think of to help me, but my house was not in serious need of weather proofing. I, of course, do not fault them - - as I said they did everything they could to help, including caulking windows on the second floor. I just would not have bought this offer if i realized how little needed done. My bad, not theirs.

The painters are very professional. I have never seen better quality painting. I will definitely call them back for any future painting needs.

We are very pleased with the results. Steve did a wonderful job on the stripping of the wallpaper. He covered our furniture and was very conscious of cleaning up. He prepped the walls and made sure they were ready for painting. He was very patient with me as I found the right color of paint. He was very courteous and helpful.

We had such a wonderful experience with Fresh Colors painting. We chose them initially because of their incredible pricing as compared to our other quotes. The supervisor seemed knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. We (the homeowners) initially had issues with the timeline due to delays in the closing of our house. The team were MORE THAN flexible when it came to pushing around dates and dealing with issues related to water being off, lights being replaced, furniture being delivered, etc. We absolutely could not have been more pleased with how generous they were when it came to working around our schedule. On top of that, the job was completed in 2 weeks and looks incredible. We had several rooms with multiple layers of wallpaper that now look like a 10/10. We also had an unusual amount of holes and patchwork to the drywall that needed to be completed. Our house looks beautiful and we cannot thank this team enough. They even brought in more help toward the end of the project to stay on track with our timeline. We highly recommend Fresh Colors to all our friends and family!

Gary almost sold us when he walked in the front door to give us the proposal. He took off his shoes at the door. Very friendly, knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted done. Once we scheduled the job he came by the Friday before the Monday start to pick up the paint chips so he could get the paint. On the Monday they started Steve and the guys showed up and started the prep and once the started painting it was refreshing to watch craftsmen at work. We have recommended them to our neighbors and they just finished their home today. Great company and would use them again and will continue to recommend them to our friends any family. Or to anyone that ask's.

This review will be short and to the point. This company does what they say they will do, they care about their work, and the owner is on site supervising the work being done. As the homeowner, I felt encouraged to ask questions about the work and to "blue tape" areas of concern I had after the crew left for the night. The areas of concern were always addressed first thing in the morning and fixed promptly. My wife and I got 3 estimates to have this work done and Gary was not the cheapest, but based on my conversations with him and the face to face he had with my wife we felt like we were in good hands. I will be hiring this company again to clean and stain my deck this summer and each time I need something painted or sealed they have earned my business.
