Eleet Stone Countertops

I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered on the spot. I literally picked my slab and paid in 15 minutes. Easy! But that's where ease ended. Communication is something Marty, Tracy, Allison and team need to work on. There were many hiccups in getting in for template. Granted, my project was complicated, but I've worked with 2 competing stone installers in the last two years with no communication or scheduling issues. The install day finally came for my quartz and it was measured wrong!!! There wasn't enough in stock to finish so they'd have to order. I was angry as I was just waiting on them to list my home for sale. I asked to get a comparable granite off the lot and chose from several slabs. Had to do remeasure and reinstall. Loved the new countertop! However there were things missed in install (really liked install guys btw). Didn't silicone one counter and I could lift it! Bad. So I had to call and call to get that fixed. Then my plumber said they hadn't secured the dishwasher even though Marty and I talked a good deal about it. It took 3 or 4 calls, multiple texts to Marty to get someone out. Then they showed up unannounced to fix. Overall. Communication is a disaster from this company. I don't understand how they let this happen when I present multiple project opportunities per year. Just wanted it to work so bad but it just didn't. I worked WAY too hard to get this done and over the course of many renovations I've never had to exert this kind of energy on countertops, and you SHOULD NOT have to. Sorry guys. I so wanted this to be more positive but kept remembering all the stuff I had to go through to finish this :(

It has been a pleasure to work with the staff at Eleet Stone. They were helpful and responsive, met the timelines and did quality work at a reasonable price. The installers were professional and informative. We highly recommend this company.

Marty, the owner came to our house to do the template and was very pleasant to work with. However, the installation was not as pleasant as the templating process. On the first trip to our house to install the soapstone there were only 2 guys to bring the countertop in. The lead guy said it would be no problem and then the piece broke in half in our driveway after unloading it. The worker was quick to offer his opinion of how the stone should have been cut and offer multiple excuses besides just stating the fact that there should have been more men to help and braces placed on the stone. We did have plenty of soapstone left for them to cut a new countertop however it was not the part of the stone that we wanted. Eleet was apologetic and said that they could do the countertop without a seam. On the second attempt to install the countertop they had braces on the stone and there were 4 men this time. As expected things went more smoothly and they were able to install the countertop. However, they damaged our trim work and said nothing. The lead guy said this is how we should have done it the first time. His comment was uneccessary and unprofessional. His comment led me to believe that if they knew how it was supposed to be done the first time then that's how they should have done it. This is their buisness and they should know the nature of the stone and how to properly handle it as to prevent it from getting damaged and breaking. Much to our disappointment Eleet offered no price deduction and were only apologetic about the situation. We wish we had had a better experience with this company. While we did get our countertop in the end we did not get the piece we really wanted, which is what we paid for and in the end they didn't really seem to care.

New countertops and backsplash

What a joy these people were to work with. First of all, our original intention was to reuse our existing Silestone counter top. When that broke, we were frantic from the standpoint of timing. We called and looked around other dealers/installers and pretty much were told that they'd get to us when they could, but it would be a matter of weeks, not days. Only Tracy at Eleet offered to work us in as best they could, realizing our situation. When we went to their office in Middletown, we explained to Tracy where we had been, what kind of slabs we had seen and what we were looking for. We also told her we might mix and match, retaining the Silestone for the island, desk and shelf. She listened very closely and the proclaimed that she might have the perfect slab for us, large enough to do the entire project. It was, in fact, the perfect slab, large enough to accommodate everything we needed. We were allowed to show the what pieces we wanted extracted especially for the island and desk. They then committed to get us templated and installed in roughly a week. Marty came to do the template and noted that the sink I had purchased might be too big and could put the slab at risk of breaking. We said we'd get another sink if we had to. As it turned out, realizing how badly we wanted that sink, he assumed the risk and made it work. The installers they sent were superb, can-do individuals. This was not an easy installation, but they never once bemoaned anything. They stuck with it and made it all work perfectly. Our experience with Eleet was the highlight of our kitchen remodeling project. They took what was a disaster for us and made it a stunning positive. I highly recommend their services to anyone remodeling or building a kitchen or bath.

The granite looked awesome and the installers were great. Marty came out and measured all of our custom pieces and it was right on when they installed it. Seems were completed very well. We will be using them again when we refinish our kitchen in the basement.

Things we liked: very friendly, very responsive, good quality work. Things we didn't: Didn't come when they said they would, inaccurate original estimate.

My experience with Eleet was wonderful! I was recommended to them from a friend at work. They deal directly with the stone importers, and let us go to the stone yard and pick out our specific slab of granite. Then, Eleet cuts it themselves. Finally, they come to install. With it just being Eleet and the stone importer, it cuts out the middle man and speeds up the process. From the day that we ordered to the day that it was installed was less than 2 weeks. When you go with a larger big-box store, they usually use a company that will make the template and cut, then another company to get the stone from and finally a third company to install. I would highly recommend looking into Eleet for your next stone countertops.
