James Reynolds, President of Eclipse, was highly professional, exceedingly knowledgeable and totally reliable. His crew arrived on schedule, worked diligently and completed the job in one day …. with a couple hours the following day to fine tune the installation and clean up the job site. When complete … the job site was cleaned thoroughly. The roof looks great, and it's comforting to know the attic is properly ventilated

There was some additional ventilation that needed to be done and a few other little things they said they would be willing to do for us. We were really pleased. The pricing was reasonable. They came up with a perfect resolution. They are a quality unit. They were here when they said they would be and left when they said they would. The fellow who sold the job and was here at the critical points of the day is the president of the company named James Reynolds and is very knowledgeable and highly professional. They did exactly what they said they would and knew a lot more about what they needed to do in order to address the issues we had. Mr. Reynolds had some technical equipment that identified moisture in our attic, he had a thermo gun and also another unit and he could identify the exact amount of moisture in the room. He could show us physically the difference in the moisture in the wallboard and the room and that helped us pinpoint the issue and address it properly.

The installation was completed in one day. We were worried about nails and debris falling into our yard since have 2 dogs. The crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up before they left.

Very professional experience.. This company actually answers the phone announcing the name of the company as opposed to a gruff and unprofessional "HELLO" like so many contractors do....they also use technology (emails and text) for instance response and alerts, messages, updates etc..

James Reynolds was on the job from start to finish. He and his team provided a professional, prompt and wonderful product. They were finished in a very quick manner, yet everything was done to perfection. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Price was high. Did not use new singles. downspout was not complete.

I was losing shingles left and right due to the original contractor not installing the shingles correctly. Eclipse explained to me what was happening to my roof and continued to say that I will keep losing shingles until they are all gone. Coming from a construction background I understand this and knew that I needed to replace my roof. Since it has been replaced I've lost no shingles, my house is cooler or warmer depending on the season and my electric bill has gone down. Eclipse did a great job with great customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job. They were on time and very courteous. After the job was done they had someone come back and check the work. I would use them again!

The company immediately responded via Angie's List "Submit a Question" and set up a date for the inspector to come out and look at everything. This was unlike Beams Roofing & Contracting who informed me "I'm sorry but we would have to pass. There isn't enough money in gutters for that type of distance and multiple trips. Brad Rigney"-wasn't multiple trips involved so don't understand, guess they didn't need the money. Anyways, Steve came out and gave an estimate and mission was a 'go'. When the team was here to do the work, I didn't know they were coming until about 90 minutes before hand when I got a call from the receptionist, it was identified that there were some parts of the gutters that needed actual replacing. Initially Steve did not think so; however, the installer worked it with Steve who then worked it with me, which is a professional way of doing things...the installer did show/explain to me his reasoning and it made perfect sense. I approved the 'change' in the work order and awaited the parts to arrive. The only reason I did not give them an "A" in responsiveness is because there was not a lot of time in between notification of execution and execution, which wouldn't be an issue but I have three dogs that I needed to put in the cage. Outside of that, no complaints at all. Steve was very informative as to what was needed and the team that actually did the work (a married team) did an outstanding job. Definitely a worthwhile organization.

The big deal turned out poor. They were horrible at communication. It took them over a month to get out there and perform the work. The only reason I wouldn't give them a failing reason is because they actually came out and did the work, but it was not good. I purchased the big deal on Monday, and normally they are supposed to get in touch within 48 hours, they didn't respond for about 4 days. I called the main Angie's number, and they allegedly contacted the company while I was on hold. They said the representative would call me back that day, there was no response. The next week I finally got an email asking for my contact information, I provided that to them, and it took them several days before they made the contact, and it took them several days before they came out and did the installation. They subcontracted the installation to another company, the other company came out and I didn't even know that the work was done. I called Eclipse to find out when the work would be done, and they said the work was already done. There was no communication, and it was very poor service from a company that had an A rating. I would absolutely not recommend this to anyone else. There were no additional charges on top of the $674 of the big deal.

The quality of work was great. They did a full inspection and made a bunch of recommendations. I did have trouble getting them out there. There was a communication breakdown with scheduling the service and they didn't call me when they canceled an appointment due to bad weather. Overall, the quality of work was great, I just wish the scheduling issues were better managed.

Great! Looked at entire roof. Sealed area that was leaking and sealed additional areas as a precaution.

Work was performed in a professional manner without much delay considering all the rainy weather we had in late May. There crew was great with unbelievable cleanup. Roof and guttering looks great!! Would highly recommend these pros to everyone.......

Once the clad wood windows came in, it took them two days to complete most of the work. There was a little delay with backordering mullion inserts to make the 2nd floor windows appear as true-divided light, but no big deal. I've done a lot of renovation over the years and this was as seamless as it gets. I now have a house that's so much more airtight and the windows are beautiful. I highly recommend these guys. I compared their estimate with HD pricing for the same kind of windows - it was worth the extra cost to make sure the work was done right.

great...punctual...open, honest, proactive. I bought an inspection package, because another roofing contractor tried to sell me a new roof! Eclipse came in, did the inspection and some minor repairs and...guess what? No new roof needed. When i do need a new roof I'll call Eclipse.

Communication could be improved. Examples: Was told I would be called before someone came out to measure the house. Never heard from anyone so I called and learned that someone had already come out and measured the house. Was then told someone would call to tell me when install would occur once materials had arrived. Did get another phone call saying that materials should be coming soon and I would get another phone for actual schedule. The next day the installers showed up to install with no advance notice. Luckily, I was at home that day. Had the install occurred when I was not at home, I would not have been happy. Final example where communication could be improved: Was sent a bill for extra materials after the job was performed. While I knew that the length of my gutters were greater than the 100ft quoted in the big deal, it was never communicated up front how much extra materials I would need to be charged for. So all in all the communication experience was disappointing. That being said, the installers were professional, efficient, and good. I had one gutter clogged on my 2nd-story house and they took the time to make sure the clog was completely cleared. The installation was flawless--the installers were courteous and friendly. Everyone I talked to at the office was courteous and friendly. I like the Shur Flow protection and the fact that you can't see it from the ground. I will call Eclipse the next time I have a home improvement project. Other than the communication gap, I had a fantastic experience. I am low-key and flexible when it came to the scheduling communication issues and the amount of extra materials I was charged for matched up with my own estimate based on the fine print in the Big Deal so I am not grading this Big Deal lower because I am fully satisfied. I am only giving you my communication experience so that maybe it can be improved upon in the future.
