In 2002 my recently widowed mother had a meeting with Mr. Tom Johns, a representative of WoodStone Reality, to inquire about the construction of a townhouse. She had sold the home my father built and had some cash on hand that she planed on using to put a down payment on her retirement home. She arranges the meeting without the knowledge of my brothers, my sisters, or myself. She is strong willed and wanted to do things on her own. Unfortunately for my mother, she had never run into anyone like Mr. Johns in her 70 plus years on earth. Mr. John?s convinced my mother to give him $20,000 to start construction, she wrote the check but Mr. Johns never broke ground and later file a bankruptcy costing my mother the full $20,000. Over the years we have pursued every legal avenue and found out that this was not the first time Mr. Johns had conducted business in this manor and that the law is evidently toothless. This is the only review I have every put on this site and it is painful to relive. I?ve tried to put it out of my mind over the past few years however I wanted other to be aware of how Mr. Johns does business. Stay as far way from these people as possible.
