Don returned my call within hours, and we met for an initial interview. We were completely impressed with his breadth of knowledge, experience, and commitment. He worked within our guidelines to find us the perfect home, and he guided us through every consideration during negotiations and inspection. We were (and are) most pleased with Don's ethics and character. He was quick to point out possible pitfalls and consequences of decisions without seeming bossy or overbearing. In fact, because of his keen insights, we dodged what could have been a very expensive purchase because of a faulty septic system. Don is the type of realtor who truly cares. He stays in touch with his clients, explores and researches for them, and guides them through every facet of buying a home. He even follows up after the sale to ensure client satisfaction. We highly recommend Don for anyone who desires a committed, personable, and knowledgeable realtor.

Don was stellar to work with. He is very friendly, and was very focused on my interests. He did everything I asked of him and more. This was my 11th home purchase, and also my last. Don was the absolute best of all the realtors with whom I have worked during my lifetime or buying and selling houses.

We found Don on Angie's list when I wanted to sell my home in Louisville. We e mailed Don and got a response very quickly. We live out of state but set a date to meet with him when we were in town. When we met we found that not only was he very knowledgable about his industry, he knew the current status of the real estate market in that area. He took plenty of time to outline his strategy, and explained everything so that we were left with no questions. I know our home was not the only home he was marketing at the time, and certainly not the most expensive, but he worked as if ours was the only house he was selling! Don was very responsive with an e mail or call if we had a question. We had a buyer for the house pretty quickly but the first buyer was unable to complete the sale. Within a day or two of the cancellation of the first sale, Don had another buyer with an offer! He kept us informed of any concerns or questions coming from the new buyer, and did everything he could to handle everything himself. Since we were out of state Don made sure that any quotes, contracts or repairs were completed with as little trouble and cost to us as possible. I will recommend Don Rowe to all of my family and friends when anyone needs to buy or sell a home. Home selling and buying can be a tremendous undertaking, especially if its done from a different state! But after meeting with Don, we trusted and knew that he would work hard to sell our home. Don is a genuinely nice guy, down to earth, honest, and seems as though he has never met a stranger! We truly enjoyed working with him and feel like we have made a new friend.

Don met with my husband and me to explain his services. He was very professnal and thorough in his explanation, which was greatly appreciated since this was our first time selling a home. Don worked very hard to get our home information out to as many prospective buyers as possible in a short amount of time, and within a week we had a full price offer on our home. As it turned out, this was all the easy part. The weekend after we signed the contract, there was a hail storm that resulted in nearly $10,000 worth of damage to our home. Don continued to work very closely with us to help ensure all the work was finished and we had all the documentation needed for the buyer. This was again complicated by an illness in our family and we had to be away right before moving and the close on our home. Don again went above and beyond, contacting contractors to get paperwork, finding someone to mow our lawn, and making numerous trips to our home to make sure the work was being completed. Since we had to move before the closing date, Don kept in close contact with us about how everything was coming along with the closing and instructed us on all the details we needed to complete to ensure that it went smoothly. Then on the day of the closing, Don contacted us immediately after to let us know the closing was complete and our home was sold!

Don met with us and went over his marketing plan and discussed his commission. He kept in close contact via email and phone. He told us exactly what we needed to do to make our house competitive in a tough market. He also walked us through the entire process and made it as pain free as possible.

Don was excellent in every way during our relocation. He was congenial and fun in all interactions, he was thorough in reviewing properties, prompt in returning calls and emails, and flexible in scheduling times to review properties. He discussed many aspects of relocation in details, not just houses. I feel that he went above and beyond and made moving and buying a house as easy as I can imagine it being. Would absolutely work with Don again if the need were to arise.

When my wife and I were ready to hire an agent to help us find and buy our first house names started flying out of the woodwork, everyone knows someone that is "the best." Being skeptical by nature I researched a bit about real estate agents and the industry to determine what we needed. Then I began to interview agents one after another. Don was not the first or the last I interviewed, but he was the "best" in my opinion. We hired Don and served as our Virgil through the ups and downs of our house hunt. Don was steady and sound, always there to counsel, but never pushy or insisting. He was always patient with our insecurities and accommodating to our situation (that being my wife was in her third term of pregnancy during the later part of our house hunting). We could not have asked for a better professional during that ambitious time in our lives.
