The installation was great and works great, when the batteries are good. They even came back to server the wire once when it split. The have a service to provide new batteries every four months. This is where the service fails. I have ordered the annual battery package a few times and the first few years, received the batteries every four month. The last few years, I have to call or email them to remind them to send the batteries. Five months ago I ordered another years worth. I got the first battery and haven't seen the second yet. I also had a problem with a collar and sent it back for repairs as Dog Guard instructed. That was five months ago and I still cannot get confirmation they received the collar. I figure that's a lost collar. I am looking for another battery and collar supplier.
Description of Work: Dog Guard installed an invisible fence on approximately 1.5 acres. They provided the collars and batteries. They guaranteed the system would work to keep the dogs i nthe yard or our money back.

Response from DOG GUARD OUT OF SIGHT FENCING
The member spoke with a company representative yesterday on 3/13/12 for the first time regarding this matter. The member ordered his battery shipment online and there was a glitch from the web service that handles our transactions. Once the member brought this to our attention a battery was mailed to him via priority mail the same day and his account updated for future battery shipments. As for the collar he states he sent to us for repair 5 months ago. We never received any collar for repair from the member. We asked him for a tracking number or some proof that it was sent to us and he is unable to provide us that information. We repair equipment from customers that they send us each week and keep detailed log of information because of the Lifetime Warranty our equipment carries. If we received it we would have a log of it, and after thorough review we have no log of ever receiving said collar. We did offer to work with the member in offering him a discount off the price of a new collar and he has declined our offer. We value our customers and there dogs safety. When a problem arises we strive to help the customer resolve the situation as quickly as possible. As you can see by our other customer reviews here and online as well as our A+ rating with the better business bureau we are here to serve each of our customers.
