Scott Denton cut down at least 8 or 9 large bushes for me, grind up the roots system and hauled away debris. He did an excellent job. I would hire him again and again. Thanks!

I didn't use their services. I reached out to them, they gave me a quote, and I didn't end up using them. On the estimate, they were quick and timely and I would give them an A for that.

Tree damaged in ice storm had split and was threatening to fall on deck. Scott answered call and agreed to come out same day. Arrived right on time, and quoted me an extremely fair price to remove tree. This was an extremely difficult job -- tree was leaning toward house and over deck, fence directly to the side, and really only one direction the tree could come down without damaging fence, swing set, other trees. He and his crew got the job done quickly, cleanly and safely.

Scott was very prompt, courteous, and professional. Although I accepted another bid for the tree service, I will consider using them in the future.

Was kind enough to recommend other companies and I ultimately chose one from his list. I don't think I would have found them otherwise.

They did a great job. Scott was very responsive. Answered calls promptly, showed up when he said he would, got the job done and before he left, did a great job cleaning up everything and putting my fence back together. I really appreciate the work that they did and will definitely recommend them to anyone. The only recommendation I would make is that Scott provide a written estimate, rather than just verbal. But, his verbal estimate is exactly what he charged me. He seems like a man of his word.

The tree had been badly damaged by a lightening strike, and sorry as I was to have to take it down, Tom and his crew were very professional, efficient, and friendly. This occurred during the dangerous thunderstorms moving through the area in July, and even though Tom and his crew were very busy, he was able to finish this job three days after I accepted his estimate.

Scott Denton is the ultimate professional. He came out to give me an estimate within a few days of my initial call. His estimate was quite reasonable. They came out and did the work over 2 days the following week. They did very neat work and took all the debris away. Everything looks great! I highly recommend this company!

Called him about a week ago to get an estimate to remove a good sized dying birch tree and four good sized hedges from the front yard. He came over about a day later while I was gone and then phoned me with an estimate of $500. I agreed to it and he said he would try and fit me in the next week and would call me to confirm. He called me yesterday to confirm the appointment to cut down the tree and hedges today and called again this morning about an hour before he and his co-worker came over. They used chainsaws to remove all of the large hedges and then used ropes and chainsaws to cut down the tree and gently lower it to the lawn avoiding both a satellite dish and a smaller tree right in front of it. Scott then used a stump grinder on the large stumps of all of the hedges and then the tree stump going more than a foot into the dirt. They hauled away all of the branches and limbs. Then they raked the lawn of the remaining debris and finally used a leaf blower to get any remaining leaves and twigs. They both did an excellent job for a fair price on a hot day and I was impressed with their friendliness, care and attention to detail they displayed in both their work and the cleanup afterwards. I wouldn't hesitate to hire again if needed.

We were trying to build a fence but one of the places we wanted to place a post had a buried tree trunk right next to our sidewalk. Scott gave us a quote over the phone, but we wanted him to look at it first since it was tricky and so close to our sidewalk. He came out this afternoon and said he could do it and that he could start at that moment. He used his grinder, ax, and chainsaw. It was harder than he expected but he got it all. He was finished in under an hour and cleaned off the sidewalk. We would hire him again.

Scott was on time and considerate. He explained what he would do and what it would look like when he was done. He was very concientious about his work and did the job right. I would definately use Scott again on any tree service job I might have.

The contractor answered the phone when I called. I usually end up playing phone tag with most contractors, so that was a nice surprise. I was able to schedule the appointment on that first call. The contractor showed up according to plan, did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. I would most definitely use them again.

It went fantastic! Mr. Denton arrived early on this day and removed all the shrubs that we agreed upon. He left the area looking very good and clean. There was no mess. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

Scott Denton was very professional, attentive and courteous from our first phone call to arrange a quote, to the end of the job. We had a large walnut tree in a very tight/precarious position between power and service lines, and right next to a garage and privacy fence. Scott and his partner did an amazing job "surgically" removing this beast of a tree without even touching any of the surroundings...I was very impressed. Scott got the tree out much faster than I expected and left the area cleaner than it was before he started. Now my neighbor and I can breathe a sigh of relief during storms and my driveway and cars are no longer pounded by walnuts and other tree debris. Also, when it started raining, Scott noticed that I left some tools outside and he brought them under cover for me which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Denton Tree and Stump to anyone.

They were very timely. They cleaned up after the job and didn't leave any mess at all. He seems very professional and seemed like a really good group. When we followed up after the project he was very prompt with answering our questions.
