+ -1 moreFound this company on Angies List. Bought the coupon for 20 windows at $89. Our windows were super dirty and the screens hadn't been cleaned since we had some construction at the house. I was just going to have them do the 20 windows at the coupon price but they gave me an estimate for doing all the windows and it was only $60 more. What a deal. The windows are all sparkling and the screens can be seen through again. Both Chris and Angie were very professional and did an excellent job. We will have them back again, probably twice a year.

Description of Work: I called and set an appointment because they were on Angie's list and had a coupon for window cleaning. They arrived on time and ready to go. They were very courteous. When I described what I wanted cleaned to stay within the 24 window limit for the coupon to work, they were willing to comply with my request, however, the windows looked awesome and when they saw the number of windows that needed to be cleaned, they reassured me the price would be reasonable. While they were at it, they cleaning the mirrors in my bathroom and foyer. They cleaned the side lights on each side of the front door which are a pain to clean. At one point they said, "when we clean windows at someone's house we want to clean all the windows." I'm saying this from the stand point that they were polite but wanted to do a good and thorough job. They also gave me a written quote for future window cleaning which, even without a coupon, was a great price. I am so happy with their work and will be certain to use their services again!!!

+ -1 moreWe scheduled 10 AM on the 23rd. I received a call at 10 saying that they weren't going to be on time but would arrive between 11 and 11:30. They arrived at 11:40. They said they got delayed and ran into some traffic. I was tempted to reschedule because I had to go someplace soon but decided to go ahead and have them do the work. Once here, they got to work and did an excellent job. As a result of being late, they offered to wash several additional windows for free. They also left a discount card for my next whole house window cleaning which I will definitely use. They recovered well by doing excellent work after being late.

They also washed both storm doors, 3 inside doors with many panes, my front door, & a small window next to front door that I forgot to mention to them when I spoke to them on the phone. The didn't charge any more for all that extra glass. They were pleasant & did a great job. Told them I would call next year to wash my windows again. Was unaware they cleaned gutters until I saw it on this site. May have them do that next time while they are here. I especially like that this company is just 2 people who do their own work. I think you often get better work when the owner of the company provides the service.

+ -1 moreAs Chris was cleaning our windows, he noticed that a number of our gutters were clogged, so he cleaned those out for us for no additional charge. I was very impressed with the fact that not only did he notice that they were clogged (rather than just focusing on the windows), but that he took the initiative to clean them and then didn't want any additional payment!
Description of Work: I contracted DC Brock to clean the exterior of all windows at my home. They also cleaned my front door, deck door, and basement patio door. We have a very tall, high window in the front of our home, so they also offered to come in to clean the inside of that one since we would need a really tall ladder.

Description of Work: They washed my windows which included taking out the inner panes and washing all four sides. They did a terrific job, were on time and were very personable. They were extremely easy to work with and were concerned about my being pleased with their work, which of course I was. They are a husband and wife team and I would highly recommend them if you need windows washed.

+ -1 moreGuess I should have stated the last info in this box, so I'm swapping them around. The services performed were very professional. They explained what they were going to do and the products they were using as well. I also like the fact they are using enviromentally safe products too. They took their time, but very dilligent in performing a great job in a very timely manner. Considerate with my personal belongings and time. Had all the right equipment for those extermely high places and paid extra attention to those areas that home builders tend to forget to clean after buliding your home. Considering it was extermely hot outside, never complained or rushed through the job just to hurry through it. Ensured that everything was to my liking before leaving and everything was back they way it was before they got there (very important to those customers that claimed they are "not" OCD, like me!!!) LOL!!!
Description of Work: Chris and Angie we really great!!!! Very professional, punctual, and very very fair in price. When talking to them both, I was not only impressed with the knowledge they had of their own business, but other (so called) leading window cleaning companies as well. It wasn't about name bashing or building their company up more than others, but giving me detail experiences and personal experiences they've had with workiing with other cleaning businesses. Both were very personable, almost like having family or friends you've know for years coming over to offer a helping hand. I've already suggested to serveral of my friends and contracting companies to try them out and see for themselves what a great team these two are....if anything was to go wrong , I'm sure it would be no fault of their own. I'm just that confident in this company!!!! Oh and let me mention, due to an oversite of my own, I actually forgot that I'd paid for the coupon and had written a check for the full price of the cleaning (had more windows to clean than the required coupon amt and was paying the difference..), do you know they actually came back and told me that I'd over paid them and handed me back the check. Can't say all companies would have been that honest!! I really appriciated that. So with all that being said, just know, you can't go wrong here!!!

+ -1 moreDid the estimate on the same day I called them. Arrived on time each time they visited and accommodated my schedule. Very nice people that you will be comfortable having in your home. They coordinated their efforts on the windows and used the squeegee method I prefer. I don't know if they give you a choice but I do like this damp method of cleaning windows. They noticed a loose screen and refit it back into the gasket. They as inquired if I wanted another screen replaced for an additional amount. I decided to do this. A small tear was in the new screen and when this was discovered, they redid it on the spot. They left the area clean and neat. I ran into a problem with that screen door shutting properly after that work was done. I contacted them and they responded right away and offered to come out as soon as they could (which we worked around both our schedules). It turns out that it was not an issue with any of their previous work, but they still resolved the problem for me!

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie List Big Deal coupon for 20 windows cleaned for $89. I just had the majority of my windows replaced so I didn't need 20 windows cleaned. Instead they cleaned my sliding doors and two skylights. I had another skylight that needed cleaning but was up very high and on a slope.

+ -1 moreThey are a husband and wife team, and they did a fantastic job. The last time I had my windows cleaned was a little over a year ago, and I got that company through the phone book. They charged $250 to clean my windows, and DC Brock had this special for $89.They pointed out to me two screens that needed to be fixed, and they only charged me $7 per screen to do that. So I was really pleased with them, they were wonderful.
Description of Work: Angie’s List had a coupon for window cleaning, and DC Brock Window Cleaning did the job. They had a special, and they came and cleaned my windows.

+ -1 moreChris and his wife came on 6-8-2012 and did a high quality window cleaning at a very affordable price. They were very pleasant. The service required going very high on ladders, and as I do not own a ladder, and cannot afford to risk injury, I did not have the ability or desire to DIY. Chris and his wife had all the work done with excellent quality (my wife was so pleased that she had to text me at work about how great it was) and in good time (less than 2 hours.) My wife gave a 15% tip. The price was $150 before the tip. We used an Angie's List DEAL coupon. We had been quoted $400-$500 for this service by another company last year, and opted not to do it. This year we could delay no longer, so we turned to Angie's List and we are delighted. It is nice to be able to see out the windows again, and at a very good price. I'm glad to be able to offer my business to a nice person who owns a small, local company.

+ -1 moreI bought the $89 special on Angie's list knowing that whatever I got done and whatever kind of job they did was better than what I had. I called them to set a time to come and they came immediately to look over what I had for them to do. They accepted the challenge and set a date. I met them to open the house for them (we have not moved in yet) and they got started immediately. The outside window frames needed cleaning also and asked if they would go ahead and do all that also. There was mildew on several windows. I asked them to call me when they were finished and I met them and the home took on a whole new look. they did an excellent job on the windows and doors and to my surprise cleaned behind the rod iron. Angie also wiped down my wood backdoor that truly needed it. They only charged me $70 for the additional work I added on. Even more important to say than what excellent work they do is to let you know that they are two simple, humble, honest individuals who work together beautifully and quietly. It was so refreshing to not deal with a "big" company and all that entails. I would recommend them to anyone. I will call them when I need this work done again. I only wish they did many of the other things I need done in this house, ha!
Description of Work: Angie and Chris washed the inside and outside windows and doors of a home we just purchased. It has been setting for a while and no tellings when the windows had last been washed. Angie and Chris went above and beyond. There were three doors that had rod iron on them. Chris removed this and they cleaned both sides of the doors. I did not ask for them to do this but was so grateful they did. My windows and doors are so clean (the only thing in the house that is currently) and it has given me a burst of excitement about moving into this house! They even cleaned the skylight over the tub. Chris climbed on the roof and cleaned it outside.

At the completion of the work, they had me review everything they did and made sure I was happy with the appearance of all the windows. The windows and gutters were cleaned extremely well and I could not be happier with them.

+ 0 moreWe purchased a coupon through the website for gutter cleaning and window cleaning inside and out for $199. We called the company a few days later and they. Immediately responded and set up an appointment for 2 days later. They showed up close to the promised time and completed the gutter clean out and window cleaning simultaneously and in a timely fashion. The coupon was for up to 20 windows so we had to add on 7 more windows, 2 exterior doors, 3 sets of patio doors and a palladian window, which only cost another $85 total. In all, the total cost was an excellent value for the work performed. We have a 2-story home that prevents us from easily cleaning the 2nd floor gutters so the gutter clean out alone was a big service for us. But the difference the window cleaning made was surprising. Our windows have never been this clean. The crew did a great job, and had to deal with wooden blinds and screens on every window. They even cleaned the screens themselves, which we did not expect and appreciated. All told, it was $285 well spent. We would certainly consider DC Brock for our next gutter or window cleaning.

They came within a few days and inspected the gutters and told me only a few areas needed to be cleaned, and they could get it done right away. I also had them wash a big bay window while they were here. For all of this, they charged only $45. I am so glad I found them! They are professional, honest and the prices they charge are extremely reasonable. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my neighbors. I only wish they would expand the scope of their business to include other home maintenance services!
