They were great. The price was fair. It was after hours; in fact it was after midnight.

They are great; everything about them is top notch. They are prompt and professional. I cannot think of any requests that would be an inconvenience for them to do. They also dug around our buried family pets for the sewer line. This was not an issue for them and they honored our wishes, which we greatly appreciated. They also do not have extra charges for after hour calls.

The price was fair. They came out the same day to install it and they were on time.

I called after work (6pm) to see when a serviceman could come out, and they gave me a timeframe later that evening. The plumber gave me a quote of $198.00 upfront and started on the work. After about 20 minutes, he was finished, and my drain was cleared. The company included a $40 coupon on Angie's List, which I used to reduce my bill to $158.00.

No problems. Friendly and capable. It was a bit harder for them than anticipated because they had to dig out some heavy concrete blocks that they hit when digging.

I had called earlier in the week to see if someone could come to give me an estimate to replace a very old sump pump. Also, I was interested in exploring the possibility of a water pressure back up system. Friends had warned me that if water comes and the power goes at the same time, the sump is useless. A back up system made sense. I was assured that they could come on Saturday, and if I chose to have the work done, they would do it that day. I also learned that they do not charge more for weekend work and saw that as a plus. They came as promised. The workers were punctual, pleasant, and were willing to indulge my many questions of interest as they worked. They did the job and cleaned up afterwards.

We'll use them again because they do what they tell you they're going to do. They show up on time, they tell you what's going to happen, and it's what happens.

Large drain in the utility had backed up and flooded the area. The company sent two men the same day and they were clean, efficient and polite. Got the work done fast and gave me information about prevention. I would surely use them again.

Called at 10 am. Said they would be hare around 2-5pm. got here at 3pm. looked at it. gave an estimate and finished. Professional, prompt and fair. Technician was awesome. Kerry was the Tech, Awesome

The great thing about this company I called from work, they are 24hrs and it doesn't cost more to have them after hours ....which leads to the bad news. Probably took him 20 minutes and cost $285. However he was nice, did a good job, but left the old faucet laying there. I would not use them for a job that I had time to shop around however I would definitely use them in an emergency.

The entire visit took about two hours. The staff were competent and courteous.

My water heater broke down and I called Dauenhauer and they came. In the meantime, I had ordered the part that was not working from the manufacturer of the water heater and they sent it overnight. It came just in time for him to install it, which he did. However, after he installed it, he found something else wrong with the water heater. I paid him his charges and rather than go any further because it got complicated after that, I just bought a new water heater. I was not really happy with what he did. I am in this house for 12 years and this house is 19 years old. I am assuming that was the first water heater and we are easy on stuff. So rather than have him fix that and have it break down again, we made a decision on buying a water heater. I wasn't happy with the fact that he found something else wrong. I was upset that he found an additional problem that should have been fixed when he installed the other part. Whether he did fix it or not, I don't know. I will never call him again. I think his charge was overpriced because I ordered the part and he just had to put it in. They were here quickly. I would never use them again.

They did great service. We had a broken shower head; the pipe had broken off and they fixed that. They came the next day. They were reasonably priced for the repair that was required. The clean up was not very good. There was a little bit of debris left. They had to cut a chunk of drywall out. There was a little bit left in the shower area. So that was not perfect but it was not catastrophic. We will use this company again.

They cleared the pipe enough that we are again able to use our sink/bathroom/washer without fear. We are very satisfied with the service we received. The price was fair and the work is guaranteed for 6 months. They are providing estimates to install an outdoor clean-out access point so when roots again grow through the pipe it will be a much easier fix. When that project is done another review will be posted. They explained the different options in detail which we appreciated.

I am very happy with the work that was performed. One person came in the morning with a small back hoe and removed a portion of my fence to dig a ditch from the meter in the sidewalk to the front of my house. I have a big tree in the front yard so he tried his best to not destroy any more roots than was necessary. My brother had already run new plastic water pipes through the basement and out the front wall so all the plumber had to do was hook into that pipe. It took about 6 hours to complete the work outside and fill in the ditch and replace my fence. While I wish this work never had to be done, overall it was a good experience. The person they sent was willing to answer all my questions and took into consideration the concerns I had about the damage to my tree. My front yard is small and I knew there would not be a lot he could do to avoid cutting through tree roots. I felt the price was fair after seeing the amount of work involved, I would definately call them again for plumbing work.

Very good plumbers. I left a message with their answering service Sunday evening and got a return call at 8am Monday morning. They came at 1pm on Monday and immediately noticed the faucet sprayer had become loose and tightened it. They were very professional and even put on shoe covers upon entrance to my home, which I appreciated. I paid $49 for the simple fix, but I realized plumbers are expensive, and they discounted the normal charge for me. They also gave an opinion regarding a master tub with a faucet issue. Overall, I was very happy with their responsiveness and would definitely use them again.

The plumbers came, found the problem, discussed with me how to solve the problem including some of the possible challenges created by my haveing an 80+ yr old house with original plumbing. The first on site also called co-worker to come and trouble shoot before giving the estimate. Both discussed my options, their opinions, and what walls would and could possibly need to be opened. The estimate did not seem outrageous, and they got to work the next day. Worked solid until about 6 pm, came the next day for a few hours. They were friendly, professional, and neat while they worked. My young children talked with them while they worked and the plumbers were genuine and friendly. After the repair, they showed and explained every detail of the repair and showed me other places that I should watch for problems in the future (old house).

He did an excellent job and, fingers crossed, has solved the problem. If not, it certainly wasn't for lack of effort on his part. This is the first company I would call for a plumbing need, and over the years I have tried a number. When I was quote a price at the beginning of the job I thought it sounded expensive, but he certainly earned every cent.

I have used them twice. On both occasions they were prompt and professional. They did a great job. I was extremely satisfied with them. Plumbers are not cheap in general. However, the price was reasonable. They came in right away.

Plumber was very professional, did a good job overall. I thought that 289.00 was very expensive for less than an hour of work snaking out a drain line. (about twice as much as I anticipated) The line was very easy to get to. Very good at explaining the problem.

They were very responsive and came out within 24 hours. The person who came out was smart, polite and explained things well. He did not try to sell me anything extra. His pricing was reasonable and the quality of his work was good.

They are excellent. They mainly worked on the pipes and they are very good with their time that they fill up. They have very good hours. They have weekend availability without any additional service charge. They are always very efficient.

A while ago, I left a good review for another plumbing company for finding an elusive sewer gas leak. Recently, another leak was detected and I called the same company. They fixed one leak but, using their smoke test method, they were unable to find the other leak. I had questioned their not capping of the vent stack during the test and they said that it should not be done. Anyway, money was wasted on that job///////////// I then called Dauenhauer and one of the first things they asked me was if the previous plumber had capped the vent stack for the smoke test! Anyway, they came over, did an extensive smoke test (this time, with the vent stack capped) and kept the test going until they found the leak. They did find more leaks under my crawl space and in the front yard. They provided an accurate written quote, not an estimate. Anyway, Dauenhauer is probably the most expensive plumbing company in Louisville but, "you get what you pay for" definitely applies. I wish I called Dauenhauer the first time.
