They did a great job. They were excellent. Two people came and took it out completely and put another one in. They showed up on time. We had the problem that morning and they said they would be there between 1:00 and 6:00 and they were here later in the afternoon. We had no hot water at all. It was completely cold, so we were just shocked that they could even come that same day. They were here the next morning and got it done. It was excellent. We had gotten a $40 coupon and the cost was about $1000. They gave us the option either to go and get the parts and it would be $600 and something, or we could replace it which was guaranteed for eight years and it was $3 less than $1000 and we took the other option. We would recommend them.

They have done wonderful work for me. I found them on Angie's List and I saved money because I had an Angie's List coupon. They were priced competitively.

They came out and fixed the hair line leak in one of the copper pipes in the wall, put a nice little square and it was easy to put back in. They were very professional. Price wise I never had to use a plumber before and I have no idea. As for responsiveness they were out there in a couple of hours on a Saturday. I will use them again.

They came on time and the water heater was broken, so they were here in an hour’s time of my call. I will use them again in the future.

We had a leaking faucet that needed to be replaced. Also had another one at the front side of the house that no longer works. He looked at both and since they were a bit high in pricing we had them just fix the spigot that was causing the most problems (leaking). The repairman was very efficient and was done in no time (less than an hour including evaluation of both spigots). He did a great job, we had no issues with clean up debris and our spigot is easy to use now and no longer leaks. We will have them back out this spring to replace the other one since that will require a bit more work and will allow us to save up for that cost now that we know how much it will be. Overall I was very pleased with the service and quality of work though prices were a bit higher but some times you pay for what you get and I am glad we did.

My experience was wonderful. I had a builder grade commode that would get always get clogged up. I was getting tired of always having to have them come out to unclogged it and they finally suggested that replace it. They were here in no time. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself very well. He did a great job and the price was great too.

Two plumbers arrived on time and immediately fixed the kitchen faucet within minutes. I had my own theories (that would have been radically more expensive) as to the reason that the faucet was flowing so slowly when demanding hot water. The plumbers assessed the situation and corrected the problem very simply. Any dishonest tech could have overcharged me a lot of money knowing that I was clearly not versed in the subject. The plumbers assessed the ejector pump problem in the basement, provided sound advice and a realistic estimate. After they spent about 30 minutes in my home, they did not charge me for the service to the faucet or the advice on the ejector pump. As professionals sometimes do, the guys said that if they earned my business the next time, that would be good enough. They certainly did earn my future business and I will recommend them to others. I spent over $50 in drain cleaners and another $40 on an auger trying to fix the problem. I spent 3 hours and had no luck. My wife called Dauenhauer at 5pm on a Saturday and they gave us a window of 6pm to 11pm. About 5:30 the plumber called and said they would be there in about 30 minutes and he showed up on time. Quickly assessed the problem and fixed it with a much better auger than I had purchased. He also fixed an issue I had with another sink at no charge. I mentioned that I found his company on Angie's list and he told me about the coupon. I couldn't get it to print, but he gave me the discount anyway. I ranked them as a "B" on price just because it bums me out to pay $160 to have a drain cleared, but it needed to be done.

Service was originally scheduled for a Saturday but the plumber didn't show up. I called dispatch, left phone number but no one returned my call. When I did speak with dispatch was told I didn't answer my telephone X2. Checked telephone with AT&T and no problems found. I started calling dispatch every 30 min since they supposedly couldn't contact me to let them know I was at home. When plumber was supposedly on way I was told it would be an extra $150 to open the warehouse to fetch water heater needed for Saturday installation. When appt originally scheduled I did question if there were any additional charges for weekend work and was told rates were the same as weekdays,there was nothing mentioned about a fee to open the warehouse. I canceled appt after spending entire day waiting for service and not being willing to pay and additional $150 and rescheduled for Monday morning. I wonder if other plumbers plan for their appointments and gather the needed equipment on Friday to avoid having to call someone in to open the warehouse for them. If there really is an extra charge maybe that should come from the plumber due to a lack of planning o their part. I feel like this issue does need to handled by the company so no one else gets this unexpected surprise I got. No problems encountered on Monday, plumber was excellent and job was completed with perfection. The person I spoke with on Saturday needs an attitude adjustment, she made me feel very defensive. I was quoted prices when appt was originally scheduled which didn't agree with prices I was told on Saturday. I definitely had the feeling that neither the person taking the phone call or the plumber wanted to be working on Saturday. I will do business with this company again but it won't require Saturday service as their Saturday employees need to attend the Disney School of Customer Service. I know everyone has a bad day and mine went downhill when the plumber didn't show up when scheduled. To be told I didn't answer my phone, which was working along with fidning no messages on my answering machine is inexcusable. I often can't answer my phone within 4 rings and imagine the caller hung up after 2 or 3. She admitted my answering machine did not come on. My machine picked up on all other calls I received on Saturday. I would have given them an F for professionalism and punctuality on Saturday but the A rated service on Monday brought these up to a C when averaged out.

Overall all it was great. The technician arrive between the hours that was given to me on the phone. He called before he came within that time frame. He came in and I explained the jobs that I needed done. He look over what was done then let me know what the problems were. He proceed to fix them. I did not have big jobs that would take hours so the time that he took not very long. He was very clean in doing his work. I would recommend him to someone else.

They had to come back and clean them out again. They were nice but they didn't find the right problem. We almost had to end up digging everything up because they didn't know what the problem was the first time around. They did rectify the problem. The quality was good.

A day prior to the service, I noticed my water heater leaking horribly. I called several services, but Dauenhauer was the most professional sounding over the phone. They came out that day and gave me a free estimate. Out of four estimates, theirs was the third highest, but the plumber (Chris) was very professional and was very comfortable to talk with. I asked a lot of questions, and he was very good at providing detailed, logical responses. On service day, he arrived exactly when he said he would, and was done 30 minutes earlier than he had estimated. He gave me a $30 coupon and I used it for that job. He cleaned up the mess, as well. The soldering work was very well done, and the heater has performed exactly as expected. Overall, I loved the service they gave me, and the product appears to be worth the price paid (but only time will truly tell).

The water heater went out in a house we own in which our daughter lives. The service men arrived when they said they would and were very professional and polite. The house is old, and they had to work in very tight quarters. They completed the work quickly and checked to make sure everything worked properly. They cleaned up after themselves, too, and left no mess behind. The fees for the work were very reasonable. I think the water heater itself was a bit expensive, as it was at least two hundred dollars more than water heaters we could have obtained ourselves at local hardware stores. We were not familiar with the brand they installed, however. It has worked reliably and is much more energy-efficient than the old one (and has a higher capacity, as well). All in all, it was a very positive experience. I was very pleased with their work.

We had a leak in our enclosed family room cealing. Approximately one year ago we had a previous leak in this same area that required extensive restoration to this room. Marc from Dauenhauer Pluming arrived on time, assessed the problem provided us with a description of what he needed to do and the approximate coast. We agreed to his moving forward with this project. He performed the work exactly as described, relaced the leaking pipe with improved plastic piping and minimun removal of the dry wall. As a result we also had him replace our garbage disposal unit while he was with us. The last plummer who treat this area used a copling on the same pipe and a new leak occurred. After Marc finished and left I compared the cost to the last event and found that we were previously charged more for similar work. We will use this plumber in the future work.

LOUISVILLE HAD A GREAT DEAL OF RAIN IN MAY AND I HAD A SMALL LAKE APPEAR OUTSIDE MY BACK DOOR. I CALLED DAUENHAUER PLUMBING. IN CHECKING MY PROBLEM THE PLUMBER CALLED METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT AND FOUND I QUALIFIED FOR THE PLUMBING MODIFICATION PROGRAM WHEREBY MSD WOULD PAY FOR BACKFLOW PREVENTION SERVICES/CORRECTION OF SUMP PUMP DOWNSPOUT CONNECTIONS. I SELECTED DAUENHAUER FOR THE JOB AND THEY DID IT ALL IN A FEW HOURS REDOING MY BASEMENT PIPES, REROUTING AND PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL PUMP UNDER THE SINK. EVERYTHING IS MUCH NEATER AND PROFESSIONAL NOW.

Very courteous on the phone and set up a time that worked for me. Arrived at time promised. Had to come back later that day with parts. And installed very quickly. Friendly and accommodating. Great experience.

The overall experience was great, first time I had to call a plumber. Tim was our service tech and he showed up promptly and was very nice. He quickly quoted the repair and started working. He was in and out in about an hour, was kind and professional, and took the time to explain how to care for your faucet knobs so you won't wear out the hardware that keeps it from leaking. Just a great experience, they are my go to from now on!!!!

I had the faucet so they did not have to provide it. I thought they charged me exorbitantly however they were clean, neat, on time and didn't waste my time. The faucet was free and came from somebody else. I called them back because I needed something else and they didn't charge me for the second run, which I really appreciated. Then I had to use them again to take out my disposer and they charged me another $250 for that. Unfortunately when they did it, it loosed a whole bunch of grease that was in there and the grease went down my drain and I've had nothing but trouble ever since. This may have been unavoidable. I do not wish to put blame where blame is not deserved but it has been a mess ever since and I'm trying to unclog my drains. I am not calling them back. I don't know if I would hire them in the future.

I am so impressed with this company. I'd noticed a slightly discolored ring on our hardwood floor at the base of our toilet. I was concerned that we had a water leak which would damage our hardwood floors if not taken care of. Called Dauenhauer and they came out that same day. They advised we did not have a leak, but rather the varnish sealing the floor around the toilet needed to be redone due to natural wear and tear. While here, they also checked the seal on our upstairs toilet as well, which they pronounced was also good. When I asked them what the charge would be for the service call, they told me No Charge!!!. The second time they came out was due to a complaint that we weren't getting any hot water. I'd called that morning and they came out later that afternoon. Unfortunately our waterheater needed to be replaced. This was a waterheater Dauenhauer had replaced for us about 6 years ago. As luck would have it,, the warrenty on the waterheater had expired about a month before it "gave up theghost". Even so, they honored the warrenty and replaced it for free, charging us only for the cost of installation.

I have always been very happy with them. I've used them probably five times and wouldn't use anybody else.
