Elvis was on time, assessed what needed to be done, made arrangements for a return trip, and arrived promptly to fix the repair. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I will definately use Dauenhauer Plumbing again if we ever have a need! Excellent from start to finish!

He was on time and quickly advised me that I need not be presently concerned about the performance of the pump. When I asked him for estimates on replacement, he quickly provided reasonably-priced estimates. Very professional, from what I can tell.

they were prompt...snaked a toilet and he said he was going to raise the water level to help...seemed o.k. after few tests... later on that day, noticed puddle on floor, took off tank top and water was at very top to tank and leaking through the handle. called Dauenhauer back and said needed water level lowered but I didn't know how to do it...said I would have to wait until TUESDAY ( 3 days ) for the original plumber to take care of....by then floor would have been ruined....called another plumber and paid him to do simple fix. they refused to send another plumber out...said it was policy. won't use them again.

They did well. They were very quick. Estimated it would take 2 hours to fix and it only took 45 min. He discovered other issues i had.

Elvis(#39) was excellent, professional, clean, and thorough in his work. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend their services for any of my plumbing.

They came in and did a really good job. I have had no problems with the plumbing and all. The work was good and they didn't make a mess. They also left the copper pipes that they took out so that we can take it to the cycling and get some money back.

Pluses: Good professional knowledge, great scheduling responsiveness. Minuses: in their eagerness to get my business they oversold the services my house really needed. They were proposing and ready to install unnecessary plumbing solutions at a very high price to me. In the end, I canceled their proposed installation when I realized that they would propose this one expensive solution no matter what the problem was that I wanted to solve. "When you want to sell a hammer, everything looks like a nail".

Called and asked that someone come out to give me an estimate on what I know will be expensive plumbing work. Need to replace all of the plumbing in my 85 year old house as well as have a new gas line run to my 2nd floor for a furnace. The woman who answered the phone told me they would come one day the following week between 2 and 7pm. I explained that that was an awfully big window and asked if this is typical. She said yes, but that they would call 30 min. before arriving. After looking at my calendar and considering my time, I told her I'd just call someone else. Then she HUNG UP ON ME!! I was shocked!! This company has such great recommendations, but I won't call them again. Customer service starts with the initial contact on the phone. All she had to do was say, "Okay, I'm sorry we couldn't help you." or "Thanks for calling Dauenhauer."

While under my house they noticed a leak and informed me of it. Thankfully it was no more than a nut needing tightening. But they offered to fix it if I chose to hire them for that.

They were timely, courteous and efficient. I will use them again in the future.

Excellent service, price was 30% better than Drexler, came out much faster than Mauser Plumbing. Highly recommneded

Dauenhauer Plumbing answered my call for help on the coldest day of the decade. Temps were swirling around -20 degrees when I found my ceiling had fallen in the basement and the pipe was still dripping. I called Dauenhauer Plumbing at 12 noon and Mike the Plumber came to my rescue by 2 PM. Considering the outdoor temperature withour windchill was -3 I was so pleasantly suprised, delighted and grateful for Mike and Dauenhauer's prompt response. Within an hour, Mike had replaced the offending pipe with a new one and even left the basement cleaner than he found it. Thanks Dauenhauer and Mike, you're the best! If we need a plumber we will definitely call Dauenhauer immediately!

Replaced two flush valves on two toilets. Plumber was not up to date on the replacement valves, which resulted in his having to make two trips to the plumbing supply house.

I had a clogged sink which I had tried to snake myself but failed. Mitch was very helpful in describing how the plumbing works and how to avoid clogs by using my disposal wisely. He simply snaked it again, but much better than I did. The only complaint I have is that they charged me almost $200 for only 30 minutes of work! It comes with a 6 mo. warranty on labor, though. I have used other plumbers that "seemed" much cheaper. I believe it was the use the of snake the spiked the price. He also gave me a quote on a new water heater just because I asked about it.

Solid work fixing two toilets for different issues. They were on time, courteous, professional, quick, and fixed the problem. $40 coupon also helped. We will definitely recommend their services and use them again.

Woke up this morning to find our pipes had froze over night. I called Dauenhauer and received a call back within a half hour informing me a technician would be out before Noon. Around 7:30 AM, I got a call from the technician saying that he was one the way. He quickly identified the location and with minimal damage to the drywall heated the pipe enough to get the water flowing again. All work was done within the hour. This was the first time we used Daunenhauer Plumbing and we could't be more pleased with the service

bad / we went for hours as to clean out pipe / pull toilet / back and forth what to do / the more he said he tried to save me money the longer it took and the more it cost do not believe he knew what he was doing

They replaced a ejector pump that the warranty was still on without cost to me. They were very professional and really stood behind their work and product.

Response was quick. Service was taken care of promptly. The worker ran the main line from the street to the house and from the house back to the street. This unclogged the main line. The only problem was he only checked the toilet to see if it flushed. Later that night went to take a bath and found out the tub and kitchen sink would not drain at all. I waited until the next morning to call and found that the branch line wouldn't be covered by their 6 month warranty so it would be another service call. If all drains were checked before he left I wouldn't have had to go rent power snake, crawl under the house, and unclog the branch line myself. Otherwise I would have had to wait sometime until the next day and be charged again.

Two professionally dressed plumbers arrived about 1 hour after I called at 2:00 PM Christmas Day. They assessed the situation and snaked out the main drain. They ensured that the line was properly working before leaving. Additionally they unclogged a slow draining bathroom sink.

Work well enough UNDER SUPERVISION.

I made my first emergency call to another Angie's List company, but they would not have anyone available for 4 days, so I called this company. At 2:30 Suzanne promised someone would be here to help between 3 and 8 tonight. Within 20 minutes I got a call from Jason who said he'd be here within 25 minutes--and he was. He not only fixed the leak, but he also explained how it happened and what I should do if a similar break occurs in the future. Jason was prompt, professional, polite--all of the "p's" except pricey. If there is anything good to ever come out of a basement leak, it's that I found a company I can call in the future. I just moved to KY 3 months ago and bought a century-old home, so I feel good about having identified a plumbing company who is responsive and reasonable. I will also ask for Jason by name.
