I called the night before, after business hours and spoke directly to a very pollite woman who scheduled the service for the next day. Ronnie, the technician, called when he was 30 minutes away during the time window given. He was professional and courteous and had the diagnosis within 15 minutes. The toilet bowl was cracked and neded replacement. We felt we could take care of the replacing and he gave advice on what toilets he has seen with little repairs needed. We will definitely use Dauenhauer Plumbing for any future needs.

I had them replace pipes in my extra 1/2 bath. This bathroom is rarely used and I had simply shut the water off when the pipe burst and I had waited until I had time to work on it. After looking at it, I decided to call a plumber to do the work instead. He came out very quickly and gave me an estimate, it seemed a little high since the pipes were pretty easy to access but I really didn't feel like doing it myself, so I ok'd it. It took about an hour and a half and he replaced the necessary pipes with this new kind of plastic (blue) pipe. When I looked at it, I specifically asked him if this would hold up and wouldn't burst when it turned cold again. He told me they would be fine. Well here we are again, I had turned the water off when it got really cold, and just now turned it back on and one of the new pipes he installed is busted. I called them about it and the person on the phone said they couldn't guarantee that they wouldn't bust again (even though I had specifically asked and been assured they would not burst). I asked if I would have to pay again to fix it and she said "Most likely".

For plumbing we ended up using Dauenhauer Plumbing. I would grade them 'A's down the board. They did a great job.

They have always been good to work with. They are quick. Their prices are average. They are very efficient. Their workers are always very careful in your home.

Excellent service! Easy to get an appointment scheduled that met our timeline, very pleasant rep that did the scheduling. Chris arrived promptly and got right after it. He made sure the line was located correctly by researching the stove we were having installed later in the week. Actual cost was disclosed and agreed to before the work began, no surprises. I received excellent service from the lady I spoke to when I made the appointment earlier this week to the plumber tech that came onsite today. The lady who took the appointment was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and genuinely nice. She was able to find my original quote from about a year ago for a water heater and it had all the details I had discussed with the earlier tech. She worked around my schedule to get someone to my home at a time that worked well for me. Alan was the tech that came to my home today. He called ahead of time and came on time. He was very professional and explained everything to me about what he was going to do and even about the noise I would hear while he worked. He was very patient and confident with all he did. Though he seemed very young, he seemed very experienced knowing how to address everything particularly getting a larger water heater into the small room where the old one was.He was very patient and caring. He was able to direct me to a coupon for a discount on today's services. He took the time to explain the work he had done and the need know information on the new unit. He even get tips on care for it and the drains. I would love to have him return to my home on my next service call. I highly recommend this plumbing service. I have been pleased with them since I started to use them about 1-1/2 years ago.

They came on time and I would grade them an A on everything. They were outstanding.

I found them through word of mouth. They are very professional. They always tell me the price upfront before they do any work and they stick with that price. They are just really competent plumbers.

I found Dauenhauer on Angie's List, saw the good reviews and decided to give them a call. They offered to come visit that same day, but I scheduled for the following day. The plumber looked at the issue and gave us two different solutions at two different costs, and he told us the pros and cons of both. The pipe going into the wall was much too high and had been causing us issues for the last couple of years. We decided to have him relocate the pipe to fix the issue, because our quick fixes had not worked in the past. Despite having to cut into the cabinet and move pipes around, it took less than two hours. He was very professional, clearly explained our options, and did a great job - our sink now drains properly every time!

It took about two and a half hours. There was one worker. He was great. He was nice and friendly. They came within two hours.

It went well. They were on time. They were fair about the price. They actually lowered it a little bit when they got there and actually took a look at it. They had coupons. The guy was very professional.

How did it go??? These folks are awesome !!! I reached out to them via Angie'st list on the night of 1/1 and they had Mike out at my house on 1/2 to perform the work. They were running a $599 special on Bradford White's and that's what I have and like. I'd found a similar unit for $540 before shipping and me paying someone to install, this deal was WAY better. The unit Mike installed on 1/2 had a few small dents on the side. I assumed I might get some excuses or something about this being OK. Instead there were no questions asked, they sent Mike back out and he replaced it again. Very honorable of them and professional - I'd use Dauenhauer anytime.

The service man was nice - tested several things to make sure what the problem was. He had to fix something in his tools before he could perform the service of opening my drain. Very professional and personable.

Summary: I called Tuesday morning and finally had a plumber fix my problem Thursday morning after a lot of waiting. A day after the repairs, I'm quite happy with the quality of the work. I have no idea how expensive this should have been so I can't comment on price but I am quite unhappy with the responsiveness of the company. Despite the good work, I won't be calling again. Details: We noticed the hot water in the shower wasn't working on a Tuesday morning and, with it being a cold December, called the plumber at 9am that morning. The person on the line picked up quickly and scheduled us for a time slot of 12-5pm. I took off work to wait. At 2:30pm I received a call from the technician stating he'd be late and arrive 5:30-6pm due to his current job holding him up. At 7pm, I called the technician and then the office to see what was going on. I got a call back at 7:30 from an apologetic technician saying he could be out at 8:30 or 9:00pm. I asked if he thought he knew what the problem was and he said that it was probably a valve but that he didn't have the part on his truck it'd be a $125 fee to open the part store to get it since it was so late. Annoyed and not wanting to pay the fee, I rescheduled for 6pm the next day. My family went without a shower the following morning. Wednesday at 5:30pm, I called the office to see when the plumber would come and was told I was in the 5-10pm slot. I mentioned the ordeal from yesterday and asked if they could ensure that someone be there at 6pm. They said they'd see what they could do. Finally at 7:30pm a plumber arrived at my house! I showed him the problems and he took one look at the brand of shower faucet and said that he usually didn't carry that brand (Standard) on his truck and that if I wanted it fixed tonight, it'd be a $125 fee. I explained what happened the day before and that I really wanted it fixed this evening and I didn't want to pay the fee. He called the office and it didn't sound like they were very accommodating cause when he hung up he said I'll check my truck just to see but that it wasn't likely that he'd have the part. Finally I got lucky because he had the part. He installed it that night but it didn't fix the problem. He said that the whole shower faucet would have to be replaced and he definitely didn't have that on his truck. I was happy that I wasn't charged for this visit or for the part but I wasn't given any choice in replacement faucet/shower nor did anyone offer to fix it that night (it was now about 8:30pm). So we scheduled for 8am the next morning and I wrote my boss to tell him I'd be late for work the next day. Thursday, the technician was supposed to come at 8am. He showed up at 9am. He had all the parts and did a great job on the repairs. When he finished at noon, I took a shower that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I'm still annoyed that I wasn't given options on the replacement shower as I would have preferred a different unit and if I'm paying $675 for the installation, I'd like some choices. The technician also repaired my leaky sink in the kitchen and that brought the total to $750. That part was quick and easy. Needless to say, if you can get Dauenhauer Plumbing to come out to you, I think they'll do a great job, but I won't be recommending them to anyone in the future.

Yesterday my appointtment was from 10 to 3pm. By 3:15 nobody had shown up. I called the company and was told their serviceman was running behind. I had waited 5 hours with no results. I rescheduled for today at 8am. The repairman showed up at 9am. He provided good service but said that another person would have to come and cut out a corroded pipe in the basement and replace it in order for the bathroom sink to work. He told me that the other serviceman would be here around 12 noon. But the time window was from 12 to 5pm.. At 3 pm noone was here so I called the company. They said he would be here within the hour. When the man finally arrived, he was greeted by my 2 cats. He said that he was allergic to cats and could not come in my house. By this time it wass 4pm and I had wasted a second day waiting for these people. I will find a different company to finish the repairs.

The service and work were fantastic. I placed a non emergency call at 1:50 pm to have a broken toilet replaced. I was not asking for emergency service since I have another bath room that we could use. Imagine my amazement when I was contacted less than an hour later that a plumber was on his way and the entire job was completed by 4 pm the same day. Kendall was a very professional plumber and you could tell he took pride in his work. I have used this company in the past and had similar experiences. I would not hesitate to refer this company to my family or friends. Two thumbs up for exceptional response and service. Thank you very much.

Robert arrived on time, took away the old water heater, left everything neat and clean. He was pleasant and professional. Offered advise for how he had worked on houses the age of mine for when I start on updating the bathroom. I know I'm going to need professional help doing the plumbing in there! Meanwhile, I'm enjoying hot showers, ice in my drinks and a good looking working kitchen faucet. Life is good!

Dauenhauer is very responsive to our calls when we have a need for any plumbing service. They do great work in a quick and professional manner. We will continue to use them for other commercial needs. Also, they were very responsive to our billing questions, and have accommodated all requests in relation to service and billing.
