Description of Work: We called them to install a new kitchen faucet and work on washing machine connections. When Chris went into our basement to turn off the main water line, he noticed a dampness in the wall and heard a "hissing sound". He suspected a leak right outside the wall. He completed the work we initially called for and then the next day came back with Brian to dig outside our foundation to find and repair the leak. We have insurance through HomeServe, so Dauenhauer's billed them directly for us. We only had to pay for a little work inside the wall. They spent quite a bit of time on the phone with HomeServe to assure the outside repair work was covered. Overall, I can't say enough good things about our experience with Chris and Brian and Dauenhauer's. We won't ever use anyone else for our Plumbing needs!

Description of Work: They replaced a broken drain pipe from our upstairs bathroom that required going into the wall. They were quick, clean and were very professional throughout the process. The immediate response time was great for scheduling, but there was some delay in their being there at the time mentioned. As a follow up, they were very apologetic for the confusion, and made a prompt adjustment. Good experience overall.

Description of Work: I called them for service on a water heater they installed a little over a year ago. Technically the water heater was out of warranty. They decided that the original installation may have contributed to the problem. They replaced the unit under warranty. That is unusual these days.

Description of Work: Replaced 80 old toilet that was bolted to wall. Old plumbing required modification. Had to change tactics mid way through job. All done very well, good communication, punctual, professional. Would definitely hire Jason again. If you have an older home, I would suggest calling these folks. Note: above price excludes toilet... we supplied our own.

Description of Work: I had a pin hole leak in a copper pipe somewhere in a wall. I chose this company because of Angie's list AND the website which stated they use an electronic device for locating leaks in walls. Got next day service with punctuality. Technician informed me that he did not move furniture to prevent claims for floor damage (not sure if this could be waived). This could be a problem for the elderly or impaired. I am a little bit of both, but had no problem. The technician did not use an "electronic device" to locate the leak and found it by cutting an 18" square in the dining room wall (behind the kitchen cabinets). I don't know if he was good or lucky because there was a bathroom one floor up on the same pipe. I could've ended up with two holes which would have changed my rating. The technician also informed me (before cutting) that they did not do drywall work. Fortunately, the hole was behind the buffet which I will not repair until the 3 month warranty expires. I would call them again although I would ask about the "electronic device" first. I forgot to add that the technician replaced the valve to the water connection to the refrigerator for no additional costs since it looked like a problem waiting to happen.

Description of Work: Excellent service. I called early afternoon concerning a blocked sewer line and a service technician was at the house that night and broke the block open. That was a temporary fix. The same tech and another tech came back on the requested date and spent about 8 hours replacing damaged sewer lines that included using a camera and jack-hammering the basement floor to get to the main line. They ran new sewer lines. Both techs were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The one thing I really liked about the Dauenhauer service was that the tech gave me his business cell phone number and after the first contact I handled everything through the one tech rather than have to go through an office person who has no idea what your dealing with and then having to explain your situation to different techs. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I've used this company on two different occasions - and both times the plumbers that came out were polite, professional and honest!!! This last time, there was a quarter lodged in my disposal - he found the problem, reset the disposal and didn't charge a thing. I even offered to give him a cash tip and he would not accept it. Nice to see honest, courteous and professional contractors do exist! Thank you so much!!!!
