Danka Tree Care Co.

A Danka truck driver accidentally smashed my brick mailbox months and months ago. The owner called and told me he'd take care of it, but nothing has happened. We've spoken a few times between then and now but nothing ever happens. I've left messages for the past week and can't get in touch with anyone. I've been very patient and understanding. Please get in touch with me. I'm happy to remove this review once things are resolved.

We are very pleased with the services provided by Danka Tree Care Co. They were very responsive to our inquiry, and they provided a free estimate that matched the final price. The crew arrived on time. They were professional and courteous, and they answered all of my questions. They worked carefully and quickly. They took care to avoid any damage, and the were thorough in cleaning up when finished. The whole process went very smoothly. I recommend Danka Tree Care very highly!

It went very well. They were efficient and clean. I would definitely hire them again with some more communication. I was not available when they left so I take some of the responsibility. I wish we had discussed what to do with the wood because I wanted at least some of it and it was never discussed. My only real complaint is that they emailed me that they would return on Saturday . They did not return on Sat and did not notify me. I left my gate unlocked for them. They showed up on Monday unannounced. They did fill most of the holes and seeded them but not all of them. As I said, these are all minor complaints and really has do to with communication.

He used a bucket truck and did an excellent job. They were very nice and professional. They answered all my questions and they really cared my tree was handled well. They put a cable in it where needed. They also cabled another tree in my yard and trimmed a sweet gum tree. I would definitely use them again

Had a diseased tree that needed to be removed along with the stump. They arrived on time and were able to cut down the tree and remove the stump and then trim another tree. Having all the equipment they were able to do the entire job quickly and efficiently. They were very professional, arrived on time, cleaned the areas well. We were extremely pleased with the work and the price. Will use them again.

That was a good experience. They did the job. I actually expected a little bit more out of them in terms of how they were going to shape a tree. They did the very minimum for the fee provided. I wouldn't say that they delighted me or have superior service, but it wasn't bad. I would use them again only if they met the same criteria about being responsive and cost effective.

It was very difficult to get in touch with the owner. He came out, he did good work. I've got no complaints about the work. He was reasonably priced. That was all good. But, it was just difficult getting hold of the guy. He was supposed to give me an estimate on some other work, some follow up work to be done and that just never happened. You just got the sense that he had more work than he could handle. I would certainly consider using him again, if I could reach him and get him out here.

They gave me a great estimate on my pear tree. The tree was starting to take over the area that it was in. So this company came out with a cherry picker, and gave it a nice haircut. He did a good job, was on time, and was very pleasant. I will use him again in the future if need be. Some of the other companies that I had look at the tree came out and said that they could not do what I want. I got another company that gave me a really high bid, and a company who offered really bad advice. This company was the best one in my opinion to go with.

They were very professional and knew what they were doing. While they were here they took out a whole tree, two stumps, and trimmed up a very tall oak. They cleaned up every when they were done. I would highly recommend them for any tree problems or trimming needs.

Their work was done well, but there was too long of a delay. It took them too long to get to me. I asked him to wait till May because it involved removing dead branches from a tree and we had to wait to determine which ones were dead. It cost another $1200.

They were a no-call, no show for our appointment.

it went well. joseph gave me some advice on trimming bushes each year and how to keep them healthy. it is good to know i have an arborist to turn to and hire.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this company ($400 of service for $200). The company was slow in reaching out to me. A number of days after purchasing the deal, they sent a note saying they would call me soon. Weeks later, I still had not received the promised phone call, so I called them. The gentleman who answered was friendly and apologetic. He made an appointment to come out the next day. The next day came, and did not arrive. I called, and he apologized again, saying that he had me down on his calendar for the following day. He agreed to come out within the hour. Once he arrived, he was very quick and efficient. For all the scheduling problems, he took another $100 off my price. So I ended up getting $620 worth of services for $120 plus the $200 cost of the Big Deal. They came out and removed the tree one day, and the stump a couple of days later. So once they started actually coming out to my house, they moved pretty quickly. The work was done very well.

I contacted Danka for a quote via Angie's List. Of three contenders, their price was by far the best. They were responsive to my questions and were able to find some time to perform the work the day after we spoke. The gentlemen who performed the work were polite and courteous. I offered to assist them (thinking it might save me some money) and they declined... it ended up not being of concern -- they worked quickly and efficiently! Both men stayed busy the entire process. They mulched all of my debris and made it look quite easy in about 20 minutes. They cleaned up after themselves. They asked me to call Joseph (I assume the owner) and he wanted me to let him know if everything was satisfactory. It is nice to see an owner that cares about their performance. Great experience! Scheduling was fairly easy. They were straightforward and didn’t try to sell me anything additional. They came while I wasn’t home, cut the tree down, and cleaned up. They were very friendly and courteous on the phone.

Danka Tree Care provided the work that was advertised with Angie's List. They were very professional. They completed the work that was requested in a timely manner. This included removal of a large ash that was dead. They also pruned a large Bradford Pear tree that was in pretty bad shape as a result of storm damage. Their work included removal of all limbs and leaves. They took care not to damage other yard plants. They cleaned up the yard work very nicely. I also contracted with them to remove the stump of the ash tree at a later date. This was accomplished as promised on 12/08/2014 for the agreed price of $180.00. The work was done and all the waste material was removed with no damage to the yard. I would highly recommend Danka to others seeking tree care.

I got the 199.00 for 400.00 of work deal from Angie's list. The trees look great. Plus Danka was very professional and responsive. They came exactly when they said they would and did a really good job cleaning up. I would highly recommend Danka to anyone.

Joseph Danka was very timely in meeting with me to review the work requested and giving an on-the-spot quote for services. He returned within a week to start the work. All items were completed in a timely manner. The company did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them - great service, clean and neat, and the cost was very fair for the amount of work done. I will use them again!
